They had to run both plumbing and electrical services. The owner came to our residence, gave us a quote on the spot and provided the references. The equipments that he quoted are considered to be some of the best in the business. The quality of the team that did the work stood out to us. They worked very well as a team and they were very skilled. They knew their business and there was no nonsense. They arrived on time and completed all the work in one day. The equipment works flawlessly. Their price was neither the highest nor the lowest. They were on time. We had a great experience. We have considered them for some other work around our home.

Called on Wednesday morning to arrange for an estimate for a back up generator. Kelly called back on Friday afternoon. He asked me what size unit I thought that I needed, then told me to expect to spend to spend 11k to 13k. He then asked if I was ready to spend that. I told him absolutely, but I was going to get a few estimates and then make a decision on which generator to put in. At that point Kelly got very aggravated and the call got interesting. He asked who I was calling and what generators I was considering. I told him that I was going to talk to a few electrical companies and after hearing their pitch I'd do more homework and pick one. To that Kelly replied that he expects his customers to "do their homework ahead of time and know what they want, otherwise they're wasting his time". He actually got angry that I'd consider talking to other "just random companies" who, in his words, would provide inferior product. When told that I'd put nothing less than the best in a multi-million dollar house, he responded that he wasn't willing to waste his time to come out and provide and estimate for someone who wasn't prepared, didn't know what he wanted and might still use someone else. His time was way too valuable to waste on someone that may not use him! I guess I never knew that's how business worked. I will make sure that I tell every person in my neighborhood, whose time is worth at a minimum 20 times that of this two bit clerk, to NEVER use this company. In fact I will tell this to anyone who will listen. This was the most ridiculous and absurd phone call from a salesperson, estimator or whatever he considers himself to be, that I've ever had! Don't use this company!!! There are plenty of good electrical companies out there who will work with you and don't consider providing an estimate to be a "waste of time". This Kelly, who represents Elite Electric, is rude, unprofessional and ridiculous. He didn't want to waste his time? Don't let him waste YOUR time!!!

Fantastic !!! This was by far one of the most professional piece of work that I have ever contracted for in my life and I've been around for awhile (73 years) and have hired many contractors over these years, When your about to make this big an investment you had better get it right the first time. I learned about Elite Power Systems during a search of Angie's List. One visit to their Web site led me to believe that I would be dealing with a first class company. From my first call to their office and exposure to their professional office staff ( Stephanie & Tina) to handing over the last payment this was a pleasant experience. Kelly Tidwell, President and CEO of Elite has and is continuing to build himself a top notch Corporation. Even though he's President and CEO he's still a hands on guy. He not only personally provided me a first class and competitive/reasonable estimate, he also dug in and buried the 500 gallon LP tank himself. He operates a mean Bobcat. Kelly's employees share his work ethic. Many of them are former Marines as is Kelly and it soon became apparent where their work ethics came from. You know what the Marines always say "If you want the job done right you hire the Marines". The work was completed as I had contracted for and pretty close to the date Kelly promised. Bad weather was a minor problem. Suffice to say we haven't had a power outage since the system was installed but what we do have is peace of mind that when we do loose it our back up generator will be there and running. Another major consideration of my purchase was to contract with a company that serviced what it sold. Elite does that and offers several comprehensive and reasonable yearly maintenance contracts, one of which I procured. Many individuals recommend staying away from maintenance contracts however with something as sophisticated as a back up generator system you had better get one if you want to make sure its ready when needed. In summary, Elite Power Systems is a professional, technically proficient, and well managed company and you'd do well in considering them if you're contemplating the installation of a back up generator for your home. Hurricane season is coming and now's the time to do it.

Very professional email presales dialog prior to the first home visit. During the home visit, Kelly, (a master electrician and pipefitter), quantified our electrical and fuel source needs, performed a detailed site survey, presented his product information, made his recommendations, then drew up a written preliminary project bid, followed up closely thereafter by the official written project scope and contract sent by the office. There were ZERO high pressure sales tactics during the home visit or anytime afterwards. Once we evaluated the contract, made our decision, and then submitted the signed contract with deposit, the project was schedule for less than two weeks away. All dealings with the office were professional, and all questions/correspondences were responded to quickly. The office submitted the requests for the county building code permits, and scheduled the inspections (with their own staff on-site waiting for the inspector). When the actual on-site work began, every crew member worked efficiently, knew his role, demonstrated confidence in the specific task assigned, respected our property, and cleaned-up at the end of each day. Even with difficult weather issues, the outdoor work progressed with minimal delays, and the project was completed in a timely manner. The county inspections passed on the first visit. Overall, an excellent experience using a turnkey contractor that exceeded expectations from project start through completion.

They have done a fantastic job. They are very upfront in everything. They are extremely professional. If I have an emergency at two in the morning there is someone I can call to come out. I had an issue where the battery that started the generator exploded. They came out and fixed it within two days. The whole area after they were done was immaculate. They did a fantastic job. They sprayed an anti acid compound. They sprayed a protective paint to protect against that in the future. They checked out the generator and got it up to speed. It works like a champ. During the most recent snow storm I didn't have commercial power for two days. My generator worked just fine.

It went great. They arrived when expected, completed the work in about a day, took care of the required inspection, and instructed us on the use of the equipment. Ironically, the unit was in place just before the big snows last January; the power went out in the neighborhood and we were not aware of it until neighbors called to ask how come we had power. We are very pleased with the whole system and strongly recommend this outfit.

After dealing with many companies in obtaining an estimate for a home standby generator installation, this company stood far and above the others. They had all of the appropriate licensing and were very professional in their approach. They pulled all of the appropriate permits, and I passed all inspections after installation without a hitch. They installed a natural gas powered 12kw Kohler home standby generator that will power my entire house in the event of a power outage. The installation was completed in one day with no problems whatsoever. The unit worked perfectly. They are the only company that made me feel comfortable with this large type of invasive electrical work performed on my home. The installation literally took all day and was very comprehensive. This is not something you would want to install on your own! On top of all of their excellent work, they also had the best price of any company that I contacted. If you are really serious about getting a home standby generator, this is definitely the company that you would want to do it.

We have filed a suit against them because they failed to perform as per the agreement to install the generator. They didn’t complete the work according to the contract. So we got the work completed by someone else.

I think they were very competent. They installed the generator in no time. It took them around four hours to do the whole thing and well the quality of their work was great. I was very happy with the outcome.

GOOD WITH PUTTING THE ROOF TOGETHER. DID A WONDERFUL JOB CLEANING UP BEHIND THEMSELVES. I AM SATISFIED WITH MY ROOF BUT I WOULD FIND A CHEAPER ROOFING COMPANY.
