Beautiful job.

They arrived with a lot of equipment - a road paver and roller, and a crew of seven guys. The paving work was excellent and they used more than the required 3 inches if necessary to make a good job. The finished job looks very good, is smooth, thick, and tightly compacted. I was very pleased with the work and neighbors who looked at it were impressed.

I called Jeff to ask for my driveway to be sealed. They had installed it one year ago, and the one year sealing was a recommended maintenance task. Jeff looked up my file, and quoted me a price. He then described in detail how they would do the job, brushing on the sealer near perimeter areas and spraying the rest of it. He mentioned that the brushing and spraying techniques would result in a slightly different surface appearance, and that was ok with me. He said he would put me on the list and call me when the scheduled time was drawing near. He e mailed on May 28, asking whether they could come out on June 2. I agreed. The crew arrived promptly, and after first repairing a small crack, sealed the driveway in a professional manner, leaving absolutely no mess. I was completely satisfied.

They were very prompt and very reliable. They were a very honest company to deal with.

Estimate process was efficient and professional. It was provided in April of 2011. Cost was substantially less than competing bid. I requested that the work be delayed due to other work being done at the house until the middle/end of May. However, the work was not actually performed until the end of June - hence the one letter drop re punctuality. Work was completed in a little less than a day. Of primary importance to me was that the new driveway have a fall away from the garage doors towards a drain and away from a paved walkway towards the same drain. Since it has rained after installation, I can verify that that was accomplished. There were a couple of small cleanup details I noticed after the job was finished and Jeff sent a crew to take care of them fairly quickly. Good company to work with!

I had numerous companies bid, however, unfortunately I chose the lowest bid. The owner and son came and said how they'd do the job and I had gone to see 3 of their jobs and felt relatively comfortable. I soon learned, after signing contract, Jeff is all talk, no action. I received a written quote and specified that gravel must be removed so the final pavement was flush with the sides of road and sod. Other pavers said truckloads of gravel needed to be removed and Jeff said he may need to remove gravel, may not. The paving team was unprofessional and inattentive. I stayed off work to make sure the roller did not leave marks and all areas were smooth without visible dips. I had to point out dozens they seemed not too see. Jeff subsequently came and added soil to edges... clay... and his big truck cut into the new asphalt and left many tire marks, cuts and dips.... it was horrible. Then I called a landscaper and had to pay lots of $ to have them bring in topsoil, grade and level with new driveway. We had to overseed 1/4 mile drive. There were many cracks within months on sides of roads C & G came and fixed a few. Now, more than one year later, I have been calling and emailing to fix many cracks, tons of cracks 6 feet in length in the MIDDLE of drive where no car tires even touch. There are not tree roots or any explanation we see as to cracks. I have build 3 homes and had all asphalt driveways put in. Jeff has promised to fix cracks... cracks crop up each month... and have for 6 months. He is all talk. Do no use this paver. They do poor quality and have poor crew leadership, men are inattentive. Jeff even remarked is crew is poor. Jeff is inattentive and always "selling" jobs, but has not come in 6 months to fix what he promised in email to fix. 6 months ago. DO NOT use C &G Pavers. Perhaps when the father ran the company, he cared, but Jeff the son is not producing quality work. They get an F.
