Excellent. Outstanding, hardworking crew. They worked well together handling "hot" product insuring it was dumped and compacted as needed. Our long driveway is on a slope and has a curve. Great teamwork Jeff, owner was available by phone and text to answer any questions. I am picky and watched the operation carefully. The finished product was outstanding. Looks great and I am sure will endure. Jeff will be back in a year to seal. We are lucky to have a local business like this in the community. Jeff stuck to estimate which was fair for quality done. Can't go wrong with C&G.

Jeff Gray is anything but the "professional" that he professes to be. I spoke with him on 6/22/21 to see if he could install an asphalt curb along the front of my drive/property. He's done a lot of work in our neighborhood and installed a new driveway and curb for me in the past. He told me that he could probably come by "tomorrow" and to text him my address again. He was a no show. I texted again to make sure he got my address. "Got it" he said. He never showed up or contacted me again. Two neighbors subsequently got quotes and he has now completed their driveways. My job was too small? Doesn't make sense when you're working at the property next to mine. A simple "no, I don't want the job" wouldn't have been hard for most business people with a little respect for a former customer.

Very prompt, professional response to request for estimate. While we wound up choosing a slightly less expensive option, they were in the top 2 for consideration. Would definitely consider again.

Great work! They did the driveway in our house in 1992. We had them re-pave it 27 years later. They were prompt and did a very professional job. When they left the job sight was clean. I joked that maybe their work is TOO good since it lasts so long.

C&G did a great job. When taking up my driveway, they discovered that I had 2 layers of asphalt instead of one. They called me and texted me a picture, then removed all 6 inches of asphalt with a very reasonable increase in price over the estimate. They repaved the driveway and it looks great!

From the start, Jeff Gray, his son Troy and the rest of their team were a pleasure to deal with and, thankfully, their quote was the most competitive. The level of communication was superb, even when Jeff was on vacation the week prior to the scheduled start. When constant rain postponed the job for a week, he was in touch almost every day. His demolition team went the extra mile to grade the transition from my driveway to the main road sufficiently to smooth things out. When it looked like we had a one-day break in the rain, the paving team worked from early morning until around 6:30 pm to get the whole job done in a day, and the work was terrific. There were complicated spots where the driveway met the house and garage, and they made sure everything met with no gaps, rough spots or poor grades. I highly recommend C & G to anyone with an asphalt paving job in this area.

We have not accepted the job yet but wanted to say how responsive they were to our request for an estimate. He arrived at the time he said he would be at our home. Estimate was emailed withi 24 hours. Price seems fair

We decided to have our driveway paved this year after completing a detached garage. It is over 500 feet, with a large hill, and we also needed the area between the house and garage finished. Jeff was very responsive and came out to take a look at the site within a few days. We knew it would be a few month before the job would be completed. His crew was very professional and completed the work in one day in November. It was quite an investment, but we are very glad we chose to replace the gravel driveway, which needed continual maintenance. There were no changes to the original estimate and the finished driveway looks fantastic. Would definitely recommend C&G to anyone who needs paving work.

Excellent work. C&G got the job done ahead of schedule and on budget (which was lower than anticipated). They not only met but exceeded expectations on the final product (residential driveway) which is gorgeous. They were easily able to accommodate customizations to our driveway footprint, even on the fly. Even graded to my specifications for water runoff. Highly Recommended!

It’s often hard to find a paver who will do such a small job). They did the job quickly, courteously, and very well. Very good service experience.

It went great. Jeff from C & G did our estimate and described to us in good detail what the scope of work would be. They did the job in two days including grading, leveling with stone, and then paving. We are very happy with the results.

This company was recommended by my builder. Jeff Gray told me it might be while to get to the job as helikes to do all jobs in a neighborhood at a time, because he has to haul in a lot of equipment in. It took a couple of months to get to us and he had about four jobs within three blocks. He brought in lots of equipment and a large crew. They got it done over two days including removing a LOT of surplus stone that a previous grader had left. At my request, they added a little paved square for the trash can. Neatly done, no extra charge. They paved exactly the area I asked them to and it looks very good. Jeff told us to stay off it for ten days, and we did. He said to get it sealed in a year and we will call them back for that next summer. The final bill was identical to the original estimate. Jeff was responsive to text messages, his preferred way to communicate. Overall, a good job, no drama, no surprises. But then I'm also a no drama customer.

Jeff was consistently in contact with us following his bid through completion. We had to delay the project for about a month from the time of the bid, but Jeff checked in with us regularly. He appeared eager to earn our business, which I appreciate. The job was completed in one day and appears to have been a quality job (I have no frame of reference), but what I do know is that it is a vast improvement from the pre-work condition. They scraped the old driveway, laid down base stone, followed by alternating shots of tar and brownstone chip, and then compact-rolled the road. Clean-up was done, leaving the area with minimal tar spills and mess. I would definitely use them again!

Jeff, the company representative arrived on time. He was very personable and professional. Jeff inquired about our needs, conducted a survey of the existing driveway and provided suggestions for the work. The estimate has arrived in timely fashion and we will be likely to engage C & G Paving Co Inc to conduct the work. We will update when work progresses and is completed. This far, very pleased.

It went well. The crew was responsive and provided asphalt that was consistent and thick. They were accommodating and totally professional.

He was very professional and communicated well...which is half the battle in my opinion! The crew worked on a rainy day to get the job done and it looks great. Will definitely be calling on C and G again to seal both the new parking area and our driveway. Two thumbs up!

I received a really fair price and immediate service from C & G paving. Everyone was very friendly and prompt, they did a high quality job overall. I recommended them to my next-door neighbors they receive the same service and then when I asked them how they felt about the service received. They seemed completely satisfied.

C&G Paving did an exceptional job paving my driveway. The work crew did everything that was asked of them and more. It was obvious that they took a great deal of pride in their work and it showed in the results. It was not a simple paving job consisting of the main drive shooting off into four separate areas. The results look great and I'm hoping it will continue to look as good for years to come. Jeff was very accomodating with my schedule and a pleasure to work with.

Okay interaction Just too pricey

These guys were terrific and less expensive than other bids. Don't be turned off by the high price I paid--I probably have 1000 feet of driveway--huge. Gave a fair price and the quality was excellent. Came just on time and finished the job on time. They were a pleasure to do business with---competent and straight shooters

We had them come out to do an estimate on a large job to pave a parking lot. Afterwards we never heard back from them.
