A Plus Garage Doors

Our garage door stopped working suddenly. Upon inspection, we found that the spring had broken. I called A Plus Garage Doors because they were the company who had installed the opener for the previous homeowner. Craig K came to our house today for the service call. His evaluation of the situation was thorough. He started on the work promptly, completed it quickly and made several good recommendations for maintenance of the new opener and associated equipment. I would DEFINITELY recommend A Plus Garage Doors to other homeowners. And if you are fortunate enough to have Craig do the work in your garage, it will be your lucky day!

It did take him a couple of times for him to come out and service my garage. I had to contact him multiple times and I even called Angie's List to get him to come out to my garage. He basically told me to get new batteries but I had no idea how to put them in the garage remote. I had the car dealer come out and program the garage door to my car so that it would open properly. I would have liked for them to either have spare batteries so I knew which ones to get or at least show me how to install them in the opener.

They arrived at my house within 2 hours and had the job completed within 1.5 hours. Craig was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them and will use them for all my garage door needs in the future.

All of our encounters with A plus have been top notch. They provided maintenance on our old doors until it was just better to replace the 30 year old doors. They provided us with several options to choose from and even called the manufacturer about the possibility of doing a custom door. In the end they found us a better door that met our needs. Daniel and his crew were very punctual, professional, and provided quality service throughout the job. They called to follow up to make sure we had no issues. We love the new doors!

I bought a new garage door opener at a local hardware store, then decided I didn't have the time/desire to install it myself. I called A Plus Garage Doors, and they came the same day I called and installed my opener without any problems. DJ and Thor did a great job and took the time to review the installation and answer my questions. The price seemed a little high, but I didn't mind too much since the speed/quality of the job were excellent. Thanks.

My husband came home for lunch and parked his car inside the garage and shut the door. . When he went to leave, the garage door wouldn't open. Something had snapped. Purchased the 2-spring replacement deal. Everyone we dealt with was very nice and professional. Both the service call service and the fix happened quickly. Happy to have the garage door working again.

Sterling was on time and did a great job in a short time. He could see the problem as soon as he saw it and fixed it.

Lynn, the technician, was very nice and polite. He was very prompt and very knowledgeable. He recognized the trouble with the door right away and had the parts to fix it and get it up and running in an hour. We have used A Plus previously. The motherboard on our garage door opener apparently fried over the weekend. I called on Sunday, spoke to a real person, and requested Monday service to avoid additional service charges. We were fit into a busy Monday schedule. Ryan and Craig came within the designated time, calling to let me know approximately what time they would be here. After the problem was diagnosed, we were told what our options were. We chose to have them install a new heavier duty door opener. Both of these tech's were extremely knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure we understood how our new control and remotes worked. Ryan even went so far as to help program our car opener. If you want a truly professional installation, I would certainly suggest " A Plus".

Daniel was great. He called before hand, and showed up on time. He was professional and knew what he was doing. He stated the price before starting, and stuck to that price. He adjusted and lubricated the door and explained what he was doing and why.

I was impressed from the first call to A Plus to set up the appointment. They were able to accommodate my work schedule and fit me in within a few days of calling. On the day of the appointment, the technician, Craig, called me to let me know that he was finishing up his current job and would let me know when he left and was on his way. He then called me at that point to let me know he was on his way. I love that kind of service - it is great to find a company that will do that, especially when you need to leave work early for the appointment. Craig performed the 18 point safety inspection and found a few items. He did an excellent job of explaining the issues with my garage door due to how it was installed initially from the previous home owner. He then moved a roller and a bracket free of charge to correct the problems and tuned up the garage door. Now the garage door doesn't squeal when it goes up and down and everything is lubed and freely moving. I will be referring this company to my friends and using them again in the future.

The installer, Craig Kelsch, did an excellent job. He was fast and did not leave any mess. He also took extra time to make sure I understood the operation of all the equipment. My garage door has never worked so quietly and smoothly. He called me several times to let me knoiw he was running a bit late. He did show up during the time window.

The remote didn't work and after trying to reprogram it we called for help. Craig was prompt, polite and went the extra mile by replacing the remote when today it suddenly decided to work. Many Thanks!

The provider was able to be at our house less than 24 hours after I made the first call. They arrived on time. Friendly and efficient. The provider arrived at 10:30 am and was gone at 11:45 am. The price seems a bit steep for just over an hour of labor but it's possible the parts are expensive. I didn't grade the price because I don't have any point of reference by which to measure. Everything else ranks an 'A'. The parts that were replaced come with a 5 year warranty.

Craig was very easy to work with. He took the time to answer all my questions and even went out of his way to give me tips on maintenance. Initially I was only going to have the old, creaky parts replaced but then decided to get a larger HP opener with more bells and whistles. Craig was very accommodating and had the new opener installed in no time. I am very happy with the quietness of the new opener and the fact that I can control it from my phone. I would definitely recommend A Plus Garage Doors. Their prices are very competitive and I had next day service. Thanks A+!

The service went well. The guy was not aware totally that is was an Angie’s List Big Deal. He was not sure of payment but everything else turned out well.
