A Plus Garage Doors

I was so disappointed in this company and their honesty. I needed a simple reprogramming of the belt drive after a power outage. It ended up costing $60 for 3 minutes of work with another company. The A+ serviceman said he couldn't fix it and gave me a quote of nearly $3000 which could be done that day. He wanted to replace the opener, the springs, the cables, the rollers. Everything but the door had to be replaced for the door to work properly. I am sorry but this is what I call dishonest. I would never refer anyone to this company unless you enjoy being ripped off! Is there a zero star rating?

We got a Liftmaster, belt-drive, insulated door. Nothing fancy, but it is great. The door is so quiet we almost cannot hear it while standing in the garage; it can be spooky watching the door move almost silently (after years of enduring our steel door rattle up and down.) While Carson was a bit late to our site, I'm sure this is not uncommon in the business and I was not the least distressed, schedules are hard to keep. He went at his work with professionalism: sized up the job, figured out what he needed and went to work, non-stop for about four hours until about 7:30 pm. I even felt sorry for him as he did the entire job alone. Wow, we got a great door, excellent controls, and he took the time to show me how to make it work. He cleaned up after himself as if he had never been here. I'd be glad to have him and A+ back at any time.

Everything was great, except the price seemed high. Luckily they had a deal on Angie's List to fix the springs that saved me $100. That deal brought the price into a range I felt good about and the deal also threw in a greasing/servicing of the door worth $49! They came out on a Saturday and fixed it promptly! :-)

Had a coupon for garage door maintenance and they ended up charging us $200 (no repairs) and still left a roller loose that we had to repair ourselves! The technician said it was a service charge for him to even come out PLUS the maintenance.

The technician, Mitch, was professional, prompt, and personable. He was obviously quite knowledgable about all aspects of garage doors. Mitch identified a few items of note, and made parts & repair/replacement suggestions without any pressure. He completed the repairs and replacements lightning-fast, and left us with some good ideas for the future. We will definitely contact this company any time that we have any issue with our garage door!

We first used A Plus Garage Doors when our garage door came off the track. I was very impressed with the office staff as I was set up with an appointment for later that day within a couple minutes. (Unlike another company I called that had me on hold for 20 minutes!) The service was quick and thorough. It seemed a bit pricey, but they did need to replace the track system and came with a 10 year warranty. In a few weeks we needed assistance when the motor became disconnected from the door. I really appreciated the time the office staff took with me again, even having me send a video so that she could try and walk me through a simple fix if that was all that was needed. Unfortunately, we needed a little more help. We were only charged for a service call when a pin was replaced to reconnect the motor to the door. I would highly recommend A Plus Garage Door Repair for quick and high quality service.

Thor was professional, answered my questions, made some very reasonable recommendations, did not pressure me into something I didn't need and completed the work very quickly.

They did a good job. They are one of the top ranked ones on Angie's List. I couldn't close our garage door and they came out that same day to fix it. I would give them a B on price as I haven't compared them to others. One worker came out and it took him about an hour to complete the job. The worker was great. Responsiveness was great. Given the fact that it was winter and I couldn't close the garage door, it was great that they were prompt.

Their representatives were very responsive. My call was answered at 8pm and I had techs at the house the next afternoon to assess my needs. I ended up getting a new door installed and they were able to install the morning following my assessment.

Elijah was prompt and very professional. He installed a code box for the garage and did a thorough inspection of the garage doors. I would highly recommended Elijah and A Plus Garage Doors!

Fantastic. Called at 8am and luckily was able to get someone here by 9am. The technicial (thank you Craig) showed and explained everything, and did both the required repair along with a few critical, recommended preventative maintenance tasks. Extremely polite and professional, fast work, and I'll definitely use them again for my annual checkup.

We had Jake from A Plus Garage Doors come out to our home in the late afternoon to fix a severed sensor wire. The door itself was over 20 years old and in need of replacing. Jake took time to explain the pros and cons of replacing the garage door, and in the end we chose to replace it. I also asked him to replace the bottom weather seal. All in all, this was more work than either of us intended, but he stayed patiently and cheerfully until 7 pm to get the job done. Oh, and the price for all of the work completed was fantastic. I would highly recommend Jake and the A Plug Garage Door crew to anyone.
