It was excellent. He gave me a detailed estimate, told me that the driveway would look better, but of course, would not be the same as replacing it. He showed me photos of work he had done. He was available for work fairly soon and was on time every day and worked very hard. I am very very pleased with his work and his work ethic.

Chuck is a very knowledgeable concrete person, friendly, true to his word and works hard. All of these qualities are next to impossible to find in UT contractors. He was prompt, completed the job as requested and used the materials described. His work is quality and I would highly recommend.

Called Chuck because of his excellent references on Angies. He was prompt both in returning my call and in coming out to give me a bid. He was knowledgeable and helpful, he took time to answer my questions. There was a slight wait to get on his schedule to get the work done, but he's worth the wait. Rain was pouring down on the morning he was to begin work. Promptly at 7am he called to notify me that if the materials he uses get wet the job won't be done right. We agreed to wait and see what the weather did. As soon as the weather broke a couple hours later he called again to say he was heading over. The job was done that day with the foundation looking better than new. I've already refered him to two neighbors and would use him again.

Overall, my communications with Chuck were excellent. He provided me with an excellent reply. I would not hesitate to call on him again when we need his services.

I originally sent an email and didn't hear back so I called and left a message. Jean returned my call the next day, and they came to the house that same weekend to give us a bid. Honestly we didn't get any other bids because it is so hard to find someone who will handle the 'little jobs.' (One guy who came didn't even bother getting back to us.) Chuck's bid was more than reasonable and based on the good reviews on Angie's List we felt comfortable going ahead. We couldn't be more pleased. Chuck is one of those all-too-rare professionals who takes pride in his work. He did a great job. Not only did he do the things we asked him to, but he did extra work! We were pleasantly surprised when we got home and the job was done and we saw that he had also filled in other cracks and mended some other areas. He was concerned from the get-go about the appearance of the driveway, which we greatly appreciated since we couldn't see beyond finding someone to handle the repair. He definitely took extra efforts to make it look good. We were somewhat sheepish when we called him last minute (the morning of the job) to express a concern over the potential (negative) environmental impacts of the concrete sealer. He put us right at ease, reading from the bottle, and explaining that he is very concerned with the same issues, especially since he's the one breathing in the fumes from whatever product he works with. He only uses water-based products (not solvents) for that very reason. He wasn't at all put-out to have to spend a little time 'holding our hands' about this issue. We will absolutely hire Chuck in the future and won't hesitate to recommend him to friends. If you don't hear back from them after an email, be sure to call. He is well worth the minimal effort it might take to get ahold of him (and after the first contact it was very easy to stay in communication with him).

I sent an email over the weekend describing the work I needed done, he responded same weekend, and Jean called first thing Monday as promised to discuss it. By the end of the day, they had come to the house to view the problems, and Chuck had called me back with a price. The work was done two days later, and it looks fabulous - like it is brand new. He even repaired a spot (at no extra charge) on the other side of the house that needed to be fixed, but which I hadn't noticed. He is extremely polite and courteous, and just a nice person to work with.

Chuck was very professional from the git go. His wife answered the phone when I called, and he came out and prepared an estimate that day. He called me with the estimate and then mailed a contract. He was timely when he came and finished the job in the time he said he would. I don't know that his pricing was the best, but I couldn't the other contractors listed on Angie's List to even return my phone calls.
