I called salesman and made a time to meet. He called before he came and was polite and very kind. Told me to call if I wanted service. They came out and did exactly what they said they would. Very happy with work and would use them again any time.

I will definitely use them again as I have additional work for them. They did not try to oversell what I asked for and they were very prompt at getting a date to do the work.

I contacted them and a date and time arranged. They came when expected. From what I can tell, the replaced gutter works fine.

The gutter is good but they are not very professional.

I have used Capitol in the past for rain gutter and siding work and they did a great job. This time, Capitol came out for an estimate on a small rain gutter job and after looking it over told me that I could easily do it myself. He gave me a list of what to buy from Home Depot and how to put it all together. They told me that for such a small job I would be better off doing it myself and I would save a considerable amount of money doing so. I really appreciated their honesty and understanding. They are a great little company and in the future for the bigger jobs I will definitely use them again.

Color of attachment to rain gutter did not match.

Estimator came at appointed time and was helpful in answering my questions. Installers also came at appointed time and completed work in an efficient and timely manner.

We had all the gutters on our home replaced and also had heat tape installed in the gutters. Travis came out, assessed our needs and scheduled our installation. It snowed like crazy the night before our job was to be done, but Graydon, the installer, called that morning and came out and took care of us. He did a great job despite the weather conditions. I would definitely hire and recommend this company in the future. They were on time, pleasant to work with and professional.

A+. PLEASE call this company first for your gutter repair/replacement--there is a reason they have an "A" rating and numerous positive reviews on their work--note my review below. When I originally asked Capitol Rain Gutters to come give me a bid it was because another contractor did not make it for over 4 weeks running (even though we were scheduled 3 times). He said it would help him out if I got someone else due to the problems he seemed to have with his equipment/crew. Wes (Capitol Gutters) came out and gave me a bid on 31 Oct --he drove from SLC to Ogden; he was very professional and called ahead on that day to say he may be a few minutes late. When he arrived, we discussed the job for both a complete replacement and a repair/replacement. He measured and also provided insight no one else had on the front section repair piece by telling me it was not sloped properly. I received the estimate on that day in writing and was scheduled this week for the repair/replacement. In the meantime, my other contractor showed up and I forgot to cancel this scheduled job prior to them coming--my error and fault totally and very embarrassing for me since their crew had to drive north!!! Upon my return home, I called Wes back to apologize for my error. He was very courteous, kind, and professional in discussing the situation and overall outcome with me.

From the appraisal, to discussing price, to a prompt arrival, to the excellent care taken by the install team this was a smooth operation. I am very grateful for the quality work done and now won't worry this winter when it snows and melts. I always had a dangerous icey spot under one of the gutters that people had to navigate to get to our door. There have been falls but luckily never injuries. We have had a couple of rain storms since instillation and it seems like there is no leakage in the problem area. The technicians were knowledgeable, skillful, and friendly. I would highly recommend them.

Due to the proximity of our house to another nearby job Capitol had our home, they were able to perform the job just a few days after we selected them from several bids received. The installers Graden and Suliasi arrived shortly after 9 AM and were finished about 11:30 AM. During the removal of the old gutters two sections of fascia board were identified as badly rotted. These sections were removed by Capitol and replaced with new sections of wood 2" x 4" prior to installation of the new gutters. Capitol also installed a piece of flashing at one location marked by the intersction of two roofing surfaces. The new gutter sections were leak tested following installation by discharging water from a garden hose into the uptream end of each gutter, and to determine if each was sufficiently inclined to permit all of the water to readily drain from it. As a result, the inclination of one of the sections was increased. In summary, Graden and Suliasi were professional, efficient, and effectively addressed the unforseen problem of the rotting facia boards. I would definitely use Capitol Rain Gutters for any future rain gutter work.

I am grateful for the advice from Capital Rain Gutters. I contacted them to provide a bid on a siding project that stemmed from damage incurred by a roofer during a reroof. The owner came by to review the project and provide his input. Although I did not use his services, I appreciate his honesty about the project, estimated cost, and other potential solutions. He struck me as quite honest and direct.

We had a minor glitch re:color (we used 4) that was a result of a miscommunication, but this issue was resolved amicably and professionally. This outfit does nice work and they employ a crack crew. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I had an estimate on July 19, 2013 by Mike. I was to have the work done on July 23 and was told they would call to tell me the time. I did not hear from anyone and on July 22 I tried to call Mike to get a time with no response. On the morning of the 23rd again tried to reach Mike with no response. I finally got a call from the men doing the work to say they were on the way. I had chosen Capitol Exteriors because Mike told me that my downspouts would be removed to be cleaned not just flushed out and into the ground where my spouts go. When the young men arrived I tried to talk to them about this and they said that they only flushed out the spouts and only removed them when necessary. I tried again to reach Mike to tell him the job was not being done as expected, still no response. They were also to replace a piece of gutter and I have brown gutters and the young men had only brought white, which I refused to let them use. While the one was going to get brown the other one got started "cleaning" my gutters. He finished in a very quick time I thought and when I inquired about the down spouts he had indeed omitted one. I was not happy with the job I was getting and called the office. I was then told that my salesman no longer worked for the company and so my expectation was not know to them. I told the woman in the office what I had been promised and that was not what I was getting. I believe if there was a problem with my service call I should have been called the day before and my work order reviewed so we were both on the same page. I did get a reduction in the amount I paid. It has not rained much since my job was done so I do not know if the gutters and the replacement have solved my problems. It did seem after I called the office that the workers were trying to make me happy . If you use this company I would communicate with them and get a clear picture of what you job is going to be

Did an excellent job and in two days had the whole house redone. Added additional downspouts to problem areas, and extened some to ensure water got well away from the foundation. Great work.

Wes, Capitol's representative, met with me, inspected my existing rain gutters and advised me to replace at least two of them. I decided to replace all of them. Wes suggested I also install leaf protectors (this may not be what these covers are really called). After he worked with me on the cost, I decided to go forward with replacement of the gutters and installation of the leaf protectors. Installation was scheduled for a week from our initial meeting, but Wes called and asked if his installers could come sooner. Of course, I was delighted. The work was completed while I was away from my home. Upon inspection, everything looked very good. The rain gutters exactly match the trim on my home, the downspouts look great and in all I am very pleased.

They came out promptly for a bid, took the time to understand my goals, scheduled the job promptly, arrived on time, did the work expeditiously and well, and were courteous and professional throughout. It was a good experience and I would not hesitate to use and recommend their services in the future.

Scheduled an appointment and Mike came out as scheduled. He gave me an estimate which was agreeable and proceeded to have a date to replace the rain gutter. They called before they came and completed the job to my satisfaction. Quick and easy. I would use them again.

Called for help - person showed and gave bid on one side of house and the entire house. Called later to schedule appointment for replacement of one side only. Installers arrived on time, very professional and did a great job. My only problem is not with the work it is with the bid. Capital has a minimum truck charge of 275 dollars. You either suck it up and pay the minimum or do you whole house which is what they want - a bigger sale. Guttering is not rocket science - I would shop for a better price - many to choose from. I recommended this firm to a friend because of their promptness - unfortunately they were 3 hours late to this job. My advice - shop around - may gutter companies to choose from.

I received a very reasonable quote of $657.00 from Wesley to replace the rain gutters entirely and agreed to have them proceed with the project. When he came by to give the estimate, he let me know that when the existing rain gutters were installed they were bolted directly into the trim around the house which was incorrect. When they tear them out to replace them it was going to cause some cosmetic damage and offered to assist with the repair. As I am looking to have the exterior of the house completely replaced at a later time I declined. The crew was good about being very careful and ensured that the damage was minimal. It was done in a very timely manner. The work was scheduled just a couple of days after the quote was received and it was completed the same day. At the time of service, I inquired about how much they would charge to clean up my very messy back yard. Due to a large amount of trees around my home, it required a great deal of work. Wesley said that he would charge $275, which was more than reasonable for the amount of work. The following week, I came home from work very pleased to find the entire backyard cleaned up, as well as my parking strip and driveway. Wesley has been great about being proactive and as the house has several imminent projects that will be completed progressively over the next few years, as we discussed as part of the quotes he tried to eliminate charges that would conflict with future plans and duplicate work. For instance, there is a corner of external siding that is missing on my home. While the house will be re-sided, I wanted to avoid damage being done to the home in the meantime. Wesley said to order and replace the piece it would be approx $150, but that he would be able to place caulk around it to seal it which only cost $25. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would hire Capitol Rain Gutters for future projects.

I had the bid last fall to have some repair work from the windstorm and new work for a remodel. I guess work was really slow and they wanted to do the job ASAP but the when I was finally ready the snow and ice hit. They came up a couple of times too but they said the ice was to thick (despite our warnings of the same). They did the soffit and fascia first and the worker told my wife that the bid didn't cover a piece and charged her $10. When I got home the side of the house had a missing piece and NONE of the damaged areas were replaced. I also forgot to install a can light (too much ice) and the installer just cut an 1" hole and run the wires through instead of calling me so I could hurry and install it. I called the salesman to complain about job and he came up and told me that I never told him that I wanted the damaged area replaced. So he charged me and extra $170ish for the damaged/missing areas but I really didn't complain much even though I had bids that included those and would have gone with someone else since they were much more cheaper. I'm not sure if it was intentional as a way of milking customers out of more money but one would have to be an idiot not to have noticed all the dents in the fascia. He did agree to replace the can light area. We went over everything again before he put the gutters up and I told him that I wanted the down spout ran on the front of the house otherwise my driveway turns into an ice rink in the winter. So after they did the gutters I came home from work to find that the down spout was on the SIDE of the garage (not the front) and the fascia had different ribbing on the areas they replaced - how can an installer be so clueless. So I called the salesperson and told him of the problems (he wasn't very friendly) and said he will replace the gutter and downspout for the cost of the material. When I complained he said I told him the front of the garage which makes no sense since one would refer to the ?side? of garage if that was were it was supposed to go. Since I told him that I've got holes in my brick now and I would just like to leave the down spout and have them give me a $100 credit and fix the fascia. He said he couldn't do that and I said that we have a problem then. I did screw up and gave him half the amount due to be nice. He said he would call me back and he never did and I just noticed last Friday that he ran the other half on my credit card (so now they committed credit card fraud since they didn't have my permission to charge it). How wrong is that! I can't believe how inept this company is and they have such a good rating on AL. I haven't been difficult and all I wanted was a fair price and quality work and I got neither. I'm not sure if their customer service has gone down the toilet recently but STAY AWAY from this company.

We had a tree branch fall and damage one of our rain gutters. Our gutters are at 28' and everything was covered in snow and ice. We couldn't do the repair ourselves. Capitol quoted the repair at the bare minimum and repaired the damage quickly and professionally.

Capitol Rain Gutters responded to my request for a quote to repair and replace some of our very old gutters. While ideally, I should have replaced all of my gutters, they understood that I was not yet in the position to take on such a large task. They not only supplied a reasonable quote for the work I asked them to do, they thoroughly inspected my gutters and pointed out issues that I should eventually address. My job was small which enabled them to complete the work just a week after I asked for the quote. The men they sent were fast, competent, polite and timely.
