The installers misunderstood what was on the bid form. The work was done incorrectly the first time. They were very responsive and came back a few days later and completed the work correctly. I'm happy with the overall job.

What an amazing experience, totally a professional company. Jason guided us through the whole process. We told him what we had in mind and he made it happen. Our house looks better than we could have imagined. We will definitely use them again.

I had to call them a week after they came to look at the job because I hadn't heard back from them. Travis told me that he thought it was too small of a job for them and that I should call someone else.

The quote given was very competitive, but they could not start on the work for 5 weeks. I found another company that was able to do the work sooner and for less money. If that had not been the case, we would have worked with this company as they were quick to respond to my phone calls, gave a detailed and accurate bid, and was very professional.

Good work, good to work with. Cleaned up pretty well after the job, although we are still picking up little pieces of aluminum around the outside of the house.

They were so busy, my fault they could not respond faster. Great work, on time, worked hard, nice crew, thoughful and it was a cold tough day to do this kind of work.

Grayson and Dustin provided excellent service!!!.They were professional, prompt and friendly! They got the job done quickly and were extremely cooperative. They called about 30 minutes before arriving to let me know and were great to inform me about what the job would require. They stuck to their reasonably priced estimate and provided quality service. I would definitely recommend this company again. I will have them come out this spring and have a few more drains replaced.

Please refer to my detailed report in the above paragraph. I have not received the service yet. I hope to be notified soon. Right now, I would not even suggest that consumers use ANGIE'S LIST because I think a customer has a right to know when the service -- especially in an emergency like this -- will be provided. Hopefully, I can offer a positive review after i hear something from this service in response to my requests.

I tried to schedule a quote with them because I wanted to get a leak fixed this year and to basically get an idea of what it would cost to do the rest of the house (where gutters currently aren't) for next summer; so that I can save for the expense. They couldn't make it the day we scheduled for and part of that problem ended up being a miscommunication that I don't really count as being their fault. We rescheduled and they came to do the quote. I took a couple of days to think it over and scheduled them to come and fix the leaking corner on my gutter. They couldn't come the day they were scheduled for, called at the last minute (basically 3 minutes before their listed closing time) and rescheduled, the day we rescheduled for they called at the last minute and said they couldn't make it and said that they would come around noon Saturday (which they're not even listed as being open for so I thought that was nice that they would come and finish it then) No show and no call this time so I basically decided it wasn't going to get fixed this year and I'll just find another company to do the whole thing next year. Inconvenient but oh well. I get a call on the next Wednesday that they are at my house (which I was not because we hadn't scheduled anything they just decided they had time for me then and showed up). The message was somewhat distorted (cellphone cut out and such) and I thought that they just came and found I wasn't home and left again but a few weeks later I got a bill for $150 for replacing the corner on the gutter system which I guess they did because the color is ever so slightly different on the joint from the rest of the guttering if you look at it very closely (due to weathering etc.). The only problem is the problem isn't fixed; it is now leaking from one of the seams instead of wherever it was leaking from before. Essentially the leak just moved over a couple of inches. I think the price would have been pretty good if it had fixed the problem but I pretty much got nothing for my money. I wouldn't have even had them do the repair by the time they completed it because I was so dissatisfied with their time management and now I am dissatisfied with their work as well. Next year I will find another company to install new guttering around the whole house and hopefully this problem will go away with it. If sticking to a schedule is important to you give this company a miss.

The roofers waited for them patiently, then they had to wait for roofers; but they didn't. They just sent someone out to do it when it was convenient for them (without even telling me so that I could go over and watch or even see it until I happened to go by - it's a rental). The owner did try to make it right, but some things just couldn't be fixed.

They were ok. They weren't as prompt. They didn't show up when they said they'd show up. They didn't finish the job when they said they'd be finished. They gave me a price and then charged me more when they were done. The quality was pretty good. The sales and service didn't talk very well. The sales gave me a quote and a schedule. But the sales guy couldn't give me exact prices because he didn't know what kind of work would be done. When the service guys showed up, they told me it was about $400 more than the original sale's man's quote. I was able to haggle and bring it down about $200. The quality was pretty good.

I was very satisfied, and would use them again. They were punctual and professional, even when they had to work in the rain.

Price was great, Installers were there when they said they would be. Installation was quick and gutters have been trouble free. They offered a quality product installed for a fair price, cant ask for more than that!

I got two bids, first from Capitol and then from another company (and in fairness to them, I'd rather not mention their name) the next day. Jason spent almost an hour looking at everything, measuring, went up on the roof to look at everything and, most important, asked me what my concerns were about the existing system. He gave me an estimate before he left and told me how much they'd like to have my business. "Company X's" rep was here under ten, was not interested in my concerns and told me he'd send me a bid at the end of the day. The bid came in two days later, not that it mattered, because I knew as soon as Jason finished his visit that I wanted Capitol Exteriors to do my project! (Company X's bid was a little lower, but I didn't have any confidence in them, so that was incidental.) I called Jason and scheduled the work and they came Monday of the following week. The crew of three worked quickly and smoothly and addressed everything I needed repaired, even asking if I needed any help with the exterior light I was putting in! Now that we've had some good rain and snow, I can report that everything is absolutely perfect! I just couldn't be more pleased and I'm happy to recommend Capitol Exteriors to everyone :)

This was not the first company we vetted to do our gutters. We have an old house and did not want just anyone working on our house. We had a total of four companies give us bids on the gutters. We were actually prepared to use a company last fall when we were doing our roof, but the bid guy blew us off and didn't come by and talk with our roofer. We'd hoped to coordinate to two so that we had the best outcome. It turns out Capitol told us that had we done them at the same time we could have saved some hassle, but that we could still make it look great by adding 2x6 trim. The same company we tried to use last fall came out again and said that we were out of luck and that we'd have to use straps on our new roof to install gutters and there was no alternative. He claimed that the way the roofer did our roof we could not remove the crown molding that we'd need to remove to install the gutters without straps. FYI - the tough workers from Capitol had them off in ten minutes or so. The worst part about the other company was how put out the guy seemed. So, he blew me off last fall and now he's getting an attitude with me because I made him come out and look at our house again? I didn't even feel I could ask him questions because he was so rude. Another company said that they did not need straps, but did not consider that we needed the 2x6 trim added to make sure the drip edge lined up with the gutters appropriately. Travis (Capitol) was the only company that considered adding the 2x6 so that the gutters lined up right. Travis was also the only person that considered not having as many downspouts. He planned, and the installers executed, a great set up where the gutters are raised and lowered so that we reduce downspouts. Travis actually thought about the work and was very creative. None of the other companies even considered the things he did. I think that we have the most efficient system and it looks great. Travis was great to get back with me quickly and even rescheduled an installation via text. Since we had to install 2x6 boards he let us pick them out and paint them so that they could just be tacked up without any additional painting. This made things SO much easier. Travis let me know that his installers had one job ahead of me and then his installers called me to let me know they were about 15 minutes out. They were very professional and made sure they knew exactly what we wanted. Despite the terrible weather they were still able to complete the work very quickly. I cannot imagine how things would have turned out if I had gone with one of these other companies. What shocked me what that one of the other companies got really good reviews on this cite.

Unfortunately the project took a very long time, but this was due to no fault of Capitol Exteriors. Our initial plan was rejected by the historical society, and Capitol had to work with a roofing company on an alternate plan. They were very helpful throughout the entire process. The end result is a gutter system that we are very proud of.

Found out the house was not insulated when they ripped off the aluminum and the cedar under it, so they ripped off all the old sheets, insulated the whole house, re-sheeted everything, building paper (Tyvek) all around, then installed the Hardie board siding and trim. They did several other things that needed to be done as to not negate the look of the new siding; ie. remove metal stair rails and created a column out of the metal posts holding up the front porch roof. With all this work I then decided to re-side the garage and they were happy to do it. They caulked and sanded everything as needed and then painted the house and garage. The house is absolutely gorgeous! They nit pick as much as I do, so I didn't have to! You cannot go wrong with this company! When they did my garage, we found out the front frame was uneven. They did their best to fix it! The installers are easy to talk to and approachable if you have any questions, concerns, or even need their opinions. I could keep going, but I could type forever. They go out of their way to please you! They will also connect you with contractors they trust outside of their expertise, if there is anything they don't do such as replacing the garage door.

They came the day after I called, wrote up a quote and set the instal for the next day. They did a great job, even with my crazy dog in the way. They left a little mess, but nothing intentional. The gutters look great and the price was much better than two other quotes I got.

First contact went great but the estimator did not understand what we wanted. The estimate came back for a different product that we requested. After several follow-up calls and requests for the appropriate product, it is advertised on their website, everything went dead. Still have not heard back from them.
