Millcreek Sprinkler

Owner of the company arrived on time as promised. He listened carefully to my concerns. I had two clocks/timers that were wired together. The rear system is not functional. He separated the clocks and set the clock for the front yard. He adjusted all the sprinkler heads for pattern and made sure they were working. He re-glued a connection that had separated. The valve box was full of water and he was able to tighten the valves and stopped the leaking. I asked him for an estimate to replace the system in the rear of the home, which he was able to do. I apologize, I cannot remember his name, he said he was the owner of Millcreek Sprinkler. He was easy to talk to and answered my questions. The sprinklers are working well and all areas of the lawn are being covered. I was very happy to have this accomplished. If I need anything in the future (new system in the back yard) I will call Millcreek to do the job. As is true of all Angie's List coupons, in my opinion, are a little pricey. The contractors seem to schedule a full day and are in a hurry. That being said, I had no problem paying the agreed upon price and I was happy with the work that was done. I am used to doing this kind of work myself but I don't get around so well anymore and I am finding that looking for specials on Angie's List is an efficient way to get projects completed.

I used their services and overall it was wonderful. Jeremy Clavell even came on a Sat for the service.

They are pretty professional, but I didn’t like the quote they gave me for some additional work. They suggested that I replace all of the drip line and they quoted like $1,000 for that. Their price was fine for the work they did do.

Geromie was very responsive when we called and did set expectations on timing of service given the high volume of calls he was having. He also didn't act like our job was "too small". We had several sprinkler companies turn us down as the job was not big enough for them to bother. Geromie was happy to help us so we booked a date/time. He showed up on time, assessed the situation and worked heads down for 2 hours to fix everything. We have had sprinkler tune-ups every year and we were always disappointed with the outcome. You can tell Geromie is a perfectionist at what he does and cares about the quality of his work. I would highly recommend him and Millcreek Sprinklers.

Overall, I like the service, and the attention Jeremy gave me. I can now operate my sprinkler system, and hopefully do this on my own next year. Jeremy is a pleasant person, and didn't mind answering my questions until I understood what he was showing me.

Geromie came promptly, looked over the yard, made suggestions and presented estimate. Came out as promised, on time. Did the work quickly and at estimated price. It has been about six weeks since the work was done. The yard looks great. Will use again this fall for work in another area. Would recommend to family and friends.

I found them of Angie’s List where I got a coupon of theirs. The gentleman who I worked with was named Jeremy. He did a nice job and was a really nice guy. He seemed very honest, straight forward, and knowledgeable in his business. I would use them again in the future.

He did a real good job. I felt like he was very honest, diligent, and responsive. He has been very busy because of all of the good reports on Angie's List. Even as busy as he was, he was able to schedule us. He came when he said he would and did the job. He followed up afterwards to make sure everything was OK. We were happy with him. I would use Millcreek Sprinkler again.

They were responsive and courteous. Fixed the issue quickly and I was satisfied.

Everything went well. Came in found problem areas - gave us an estimate and then did work same day. Very good service.

The service was great. they were always early. clearly not the type of company that stacks work on top of work allowing quality to suffer. they noticed i didnt meet code and offered a quick fix for less than $30. i even looked up the code on the city's website and they were right on. the fix will make even easier to winterize my irrigation system.

It did not go. No response from vendor.

Arrived on time, saw problem, had all parts needed. installed new valves. Work was good and finished in one visit. Clean up could have been better. Labor charge a little high. Very knowledgeable, accurate work.

Called in early Spring (crazy season) to get Sprinkler repair work done with aggressive deadline. Geromie responded promptly, scheduled appointment within a couple of days, arrived on time, gave estimate, completed work within estimate. Very professional and did great job cleaning up and giving sound recommendations. Will definitely call again and refer to friends and family!

Geromie called to see if he could arrive a few hours early to activate the system. He wastes no time and had our system working and "tuned up" in less than an hour.

Geremy knows his stuff, and he explained everything about what he was doing to my satisfaction. It actually took him longer than he thought (the broken lines were hard to find) but he stuck by his fixed price estimate, and honored the 10% discount for Angie's list customers. Very nice.

The setting for the sprinkler control box was wrong after Geromie went to fix our sprinkler system. we called Geromie for help again, he came to our house on same day we called him. He changed the control box setting for us and check everything else again for free. He is very good at what he does. I strongly recommend him to anyone. I am 110% satisfied with his service. We are going to hire him every year to check our sprinkler system.

We'd had a serious leak in a sprinkler box that flooded our basement ... a near disaster! We turned off the water and dealt with the basement flood. Geromie answered our call promptly and responded in a timely fashion. He tightened the leaking part, a loose connection in a box, so it no longer leaked when the water was turned back on. We could have left it at that but closer inspection, the original plumbing was substandard so I decided to have him rebuild the assembly from scratch. Good thing because there was a buried connection that had not been glued at all. Without that additional attention to detail, we would probably have had another flood some time in the future. Geromie provided outstanding service. He was skillful, fast, and his final invoice was actually under his initial estimate! When was the last time THAT happened to you? In July my husband and I started putting in our own sprinkler system. We had no idea when we started how rocky our ground was. It took us 6 hours using a trencher just to dig the trenches in the front yard. We tried to dig down to the main line ourselves but we couldn't make any headway. The ground was too hard and rocky. So we sought professional help. We called a couple of places, one of which said he didn't want to do what we were asking him to, and Millcreek was one of the two places we called who actually came out to our house to look at what we had. He offered us the best price for what we wanted to have done. Initially we only wanted help with connecting the main sprinkler line, connecting to the main water line, and getting the line run under the driveway, but he said that for another 400.00 he could put together the manifolds and set up the timer for us. All I had to do was go to home depot and return the pre-made manifold sets, and the timer I had purchased and purchase another brand of manifold and another timer with more zones, since he said we might need 5 zones for our backyard instead of the 3 we had planned on. He may have been able to offer us such a discount because he was using our materials for the most part. I came home the first day and found him up to his shoulders in the ground. I was quite shocked because I had thought the main line was only going to be about 2 1/2-3 feet in the ground, not 4 1/2 feet! They had also cut the trench in the driveway. The second day had everything all put together and connected. I am very pleased with the work that was preformed. He and his co-worker did an awesome job and if we decide that the backyard is too much for us to handle, we will definitely hire him again to help us.

I had spent 2 weeks trying to get me sprinkler valves fixed and just could not figure it out. I called Geromie and he came out the next day or two, and showed up on time. He figured out the electric control lines had been cut (by the siders I hired last fall). He ran new lines, had to crawl through my attic to reach back yard. A drain was also leaking which he fixed, I had fixed another one next to that one. He fixed a selanoid I put on wrong, and set the timer, which I had all messed up. The next day when I came home from work I noticed water leaking out of the control box, I called him on his cell and he was just finishing up on a job and would try to stop by after. He showed up around 8 PM and dug out the box and discovered that the drain I installed had come loose. He fixed that and was on his way by 9 PM. He was friendly, knowageble, and worked hard and fast. I would use him again, and did on my rental.

Finding a sprinkler repair service has been a difficult experience as many companies were not available to take my call (even during business hours) and then either didn't answer my voice mails or called me to tell me they couldn't schedule an appointment until six weeks from now. Millcreek, by contrast, answered the phone on my first try and was able to come out the same day. Two guys came out and worked quickly on all projects; they were probably out of here in less than hour. I appreciated their efficiency and the options they gave me to spend less and do some work myself or spend more and have everything taken care of for me.

Jeremy replaced my sprinkler timer and fixed a break in a sprinkler line. He also checked all of my sprinklers to make sure they were doing their job. He was professional and helpful. He tried to contain costs, and showed up on time. I recommend him highly.

Jeremy was awesome. He charges a hefty hourly labor rate, but he works so fast he is worth it. At times he was literally running through our yard. He was very patient and answered all of our questions. He showed us how to operate the automated system, then repaired 9 or 10 sprinkler heads, and made sure everything was running properly cleaning out each sprinkler. I'm sure we'll use him again in the future.

Showed on time, looked clean, professional; was polite and courteous. Did a very good job moving a sprinkler head in a big perennial bed; he didn't disturb the plants and took care not to trample anything. When the heads in the lawn were moved, there were no sunken spots afterwards unlike other companies I've hired in the past. He gave me the option of a discount if Idid some digging. I didn't take him up on it, but it was nice to have the option. He did the job better and faster than I, especially considering the number of rocks I had in my yard. The whole thing took about three hours and he left no dirt or mess behind.
