Millcreek Sprinkler

I had some dry spots on my yard. I hoped to have a sprinkler professional make the proper adjustments so I would not have dry spots. I scheduled this work just before a vacation. The job was done, and I replaced 2 sprinkler heads, and was told all was adjusted. I left on my vacation feeling good about my yard. When I returned, the lawn was completely dead. I immediately called the company, and they very promptly came out. As it turns out, they left the sprinklers in "test" mode, and each station only ran 5 minutes, during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. The sprinkler time was adjusted again, and I had to run the sprinklers daily until my lawn came back. The lawn did come back, but only after a $300 water bill for the extra waterings. now that my lawn is back, there are still dry spots where sprinklers are not covering. At the end of the day, my lawn was better off before this service call. An unfortunate experience, that I hope won't be repeated for other clients.

The company owner and his hired helper did a pretty good job overall. I toured them around the system pointing out what needed to be done. They then made the necessary repairs and replacements. The only glitch in the works was when it came time to pay for the service. When I inquired as to the Angie's list credit for what I had already paid (I purchased this work from an Angie's List deal) he became somewhat terse with my questions because I did not understand how he was charging me. The owner explained that he was giving me a better deal than the Angie's list credit for what I had already paid. I am still not completely clear if I got a good deal or not, but if the owner improved his professional demeanor and exhibited some patience with me as a customer, I would have given him an overall A rating. As it is, I am giving him a B rating. I am grateful the work was done on this older sprinkler system and that the watering coverage was adequate.

From my initial call to Millcreek Sprinkler until they returned my call was almost a week later. If I had not had an Angie's List special I would have not used them at that point. Then, after finally receiving their call it took another two weeks for them to actually make it to my house because they were so busy due to the Angie's List tune up ad. When they finally did arrive they seemed to be competent enough, but it did seem much more like a couple of friends that had decided over a couple of joints to start their own business. Not that it's necessarily a bad way to start a business, but don't let your customers know that you'd rather be getting high than working on their home. Then I found out that the sprinkler tune up did not include any work other than checking the system (which I did myself). When they finally did return in another week to replace heads it still took them another week to get the parts to replace a timer. It also took a lot of convincing for them to include the tune-up purchased through Angie's List in their final bill. We purchased the Spring Sprinkler Tune-Up knowing that we had some problems with our system. We also knew that we were going to have to spend more than the initial cost of the sprinkler tune up. However, what we didn't know was that the price of the sprinkler tune up would not be credited toward any of the work to be done. The $59 for the tune up was for them to look at our system and tell us that we had some work to be done. There was no "tune up" or work involved. That was after it had taken almost three weeks to get them here. Then it took almost two more weeks to get all of the work done. Because I know nothing about sprinkler systems (if I did I wouldn't have hired them) I cannot speak to the quality of their work. Through the rest of the summer we have not had any problems. But I would never have purchased the deal through Angie's List if I'd known that the tune up did not include any work whatsoever.

Everything went smoothly and turned out better than I expected.

I had a couple of spots in the lawn that weren't getting water even though there seemed to be sprinkler heads nearby. I was having to water by hand to keep from going brown. He changed some of the heads to spread the water better and adjusted a couple of heads so it wasn't watering the patio as much. It took care of the dry spots and I don't have to water the lawn by hand anymore.

They were efficient, fair and did a great job. Lawn look so much better after the work they did.

The representative arrived punctually and performed the work listed above. However, to my disappointment, I found myself readjusting sprinkler spray patterns and spray range of coverage about two weeks later due to parts of my lawn drying out from last of water. Additionally, sprinkler heads which were not identified by the representative as damaged or broken were later discovered by myself about a week later and these were changed out and replaced as well.

I left him a message around 7pm and he returned my call first thing in the morning. He was at my house the next day to fix the leak. He needed a few parts to fix two valves so he let me know he would be back in the morning. All went well the next day and he completed the job for a little under his estimated price :-) Thanks for the great work Geromie!

The overall experience was fantastic! Geromie promptly returned my phone call for an estimate. He arrived for the estimate when he said he would. Geromie patiently and professionally explained everything to me so I could make an informed decision. I was impressed, so I hired him to do the job. Geromie and his crew was punctual to the agreed day and time and got right to work. The crew worked hard and did a wonderful job! They finished in an appropriate time and the cleanup excellent. Geromie went through the whole system on the automatic box for us and stressed that if we needed any help, to call him any time. I feel confident that my mother got her money's worth having Geromie perform the sprinker installation job for us. I would recommend him to anyone. Well, I did...my son living next door to my mother needed his sprinkler system put on a timer, so a couple days later Geromie went over and installed his. The same story. Awsome!

Technician was prompt, courteous and competent. Discovered additional problems and fixed them for reasonable rate.

Arrived a little bit late, but it was a late afternoon appointment, so it did not bother me. They were at my house for about two hours and the sprinkler system worked great and was watering the lawn and not the driveway after they made adjustments. We will probably be making some landscape changes within the next year and I would not hesitate to hire this company again

It went very well, Geromie was knowledgable about all aspects of repairing the system and updating as needed.

All work performed was high quality and my sprinklers are operational. Some additional problems that were discovered were handled quickly, lines repaired sprinkler heads repositioned and all work was checked before Geromie left. What started as the replacement of a couple of sprinkler heads was diagnosed as a broken line, which took him longer than planned to repair, but he did and excellent job solving my difficult sprinkler problems.

I the price was more than fair - probably lower than normal - partly because I had already dug some of the hole that was needed and partly because I requested that it NOT be back-filled since I had other work to do related to my water line. I would call Geromie back in a heartbeat for more irrigation work. He and his partner were responsive, very professional and just good guys.

The service was prompt - the appointment was set for between 11 am and noon - the technician arrived at 11 am sharp. No one was home and he was patient enough to wait for my wife's arrival. The work was guaranteed and I didn't have any issues. The price was $350 - I didn't get any competing estimates and had never had this work done before, so I'm not really sure where that rates in terms of a good deal.

Outstanding service. shutoff valve replaced, sprinkler (3) valves replaced and sprinkler heads swapped out without any problems. Geromie did an excellent job in handling all of my problems and getting my system back up and running. He explained everything he was doing and offered options for resolving my problems. I highly recommend Millcreek and will be using their services to maintain my sprinklers going forward. Prompt scheduling and service. Pricing was fair and better than expected. I am very happy with the result.

Shawn arrived on time and looked the system over carefully. I explained that after frustrations with another sprinkler service, I had to perform some work myself. I told him that I thought the valve I replaced for the front grass was leaking after being shut off. This was evident from a removed head at one of the lower points in the yard. Shawn tested the system and found that the valve was working properly, and that it just takes several minutes for the water to drain off after the valve shuts of. He tried it twice with me to make sure that really was the problem. He even complimented me on the work that I had done. I was extreamly pleased with the honesty and integrity of this company. I highly recomend them for service.

Quick and excellent repair on the broken sprinkler line. Got good advice on low flow areas. Learned about why certain areas had low flow; 0.5 inch vs. 3/4 inch and 1 inch lines. Also learned about why valve may have clogged due to galvanized pipe corrosion.

He was super busy but everything was super.

came to a sprinkler tune up, bought coupon through angies list, looked through all the sprinkler and told me what need to be done for the ones that needed to be fixed.

Geremy returned my call promptly, he showed up at my home on time and completed the repairs effectively and professionally. He needed to come back to install the new control and did so exactly when he said he would. I am very much impressed with his professionalism and would certainly call upon him in the future. I would recommend his company to any one having a need for his type of services.
