I called on a Saturday morning to get a sink and dishwasher installed. Dave answered and said he could fit it in that day. He was at the house within an hour. The project was bigger than he had expected due to errors made by a counter install crew. He got the job done efficiently anyway. The price was high but given his timeliness and professionalism I think it was worth it.

Dave came personally, prepared with replacement parts. Once the pressure release valve was replaced, he extended the pipe to reach the drain where the floor was slanted to handle the water. This would prevent a futue leak going back under the wall into the den. He also explained how to winterized our sprinkler system.

It just needed to be glued and sealed. Dave came and performed the job without calling me to see if I would approve the $139.00 charge also did not provided the estimate before he made the repair. My son said that he was at the job for 0.20min. I feel that we were ripped off. There was no major digging that neede to be done or anything major. So when I called to make the payment I mentioned to the person that answered that the changes were utrageous and that I would not be using their services in t he future and she mentioned that yes it would be better that I did'nt. I felt that as a customer I was expecting that she would say how can I make it up to you n the future However she didn't. I am writing this review so that this does'n happen to others.

He made suggestions that were much cheaper and easier fixes than a previous plumber. From what we had been told by a previous plumber, I believed we would be paying $1000 and the bill ended up being $250. We plan to use him for our downstairs bathroom remodel because he was so helpful, responsive and honest.

My washing machine's water filter was clogged and I couldn't clean it because the shutoff valve leading to the machine was stuck open. Mr. Passey fixed it with no trouble and charged far less than I expected. I appreciated his professionalism, great to work with. I will definitely hire him again as there are other projects that will soon need to be done at my house.

I use him all the time for the plumbing. He is on Angie's List. He did the same work for the second time. The experience was great. I can call him and tell him what the problem is. If there is an emergency, I can just call him to get it fixed. I called him for the clogged drain. He took all my information and checked the schedule with his associates. He called me and said he would be here at 3.30. He was here on time. He came out and took care of the drain. He is dependable and he is the first one I will call.

Dave had to come to the house twice to give estimates as the job plan changed and came out both times. He was prompt and very knowledgable about the work that needed to be done. some of the work required time in the attic on a very hot day and was promptly rescheduled.

They arrived when they said they would, did the work they said they would for the price the quoted and left the house very clean. I will definetly call them the next time I need some plumbing work done.

When he arrived I told him that I would prefer to replace entire mechanism on two toilets - one had a broken part - one just kept leaking. I indicated that I didn't want to have to deal with a leaky toilet again for several years. He replaced all parts on one but after he left the flapper did not close the first time I used it. I called the office and was told by the lady that the tech had told her one toilet might need to be replaced. I said that was a different toilet. She seemed totally disinterested in listening to what was wrong - that it was the toilet where he replaced the entire mechanism that wasn't working - much worse than before. That was Friday before Labor Day - and she offered to come back Tuesday. I indicated I had guests coming and that wasn't acceptable. Finally she offered to send him back Saturday. The constant water running was driving me nuts so I tried adjusting the flapper chain length and solved the problem. Now the other toilet is leaking again. I asked to replace everything but he said all that was needed was an adjustment. This is my first experiene with an Angie's List review and I am not impressed with the plumber or Angie's List.

Dave's bid was much higher than others, so we went with another plumber for the work.

Called late on a Thursday afternoon and he returned the call on Friday morning. Scheduled the work for the following Tuesday. Person showed up, was very professional, and knew what he was doing. He was willing to explain what he was doing and why. The work looks good. I have no concerns or issues.

It went well. They were on time and did the work very quickly.

Service was fast and professional.

The last thing you want to see is sewer coming up in the floor drain in the basement. This has happened several times since we bought this home. We have been here for 12 years, our home was built in 1966. Originally it had a septic tank....you would think once you hooked onto city sewer your lines would be fine, LOL...LOL! ! The last time we had a company out, our basement was flooded with black sludge. We had to take out walls.....removed carpet...replace the furnace. No company, never, never never, not just one company, but several...has ever came out.....removed the basement toilet, ran a coil 120 feet, which would be the edge of our property and cleaned out the main line! ! ! Dave Passey Plumbing & Heating did! The technician that was sent out was about 10 minutes late.....but he was amazing. Very friendly, new what he was talking about and did his job. He even cleaned up his mess. I was really impressed. Do I think we will never have drain problems again...not even, we bought an older home. Yes, I will call this company again. Thank you so much.......

Josh arrived as scheduled, completed the work promptly and honored the Angie's List discount without hesitation. After 2 less than satisfactory experiences with other plumbers it was great to deal with someone so competent and professional. I will definitely use Plassey again.

Everything went very smoothly. Everyone from the receptionist to the technician to Dave himself were all very professional and prompt. They were all very clear in their communications and set proper expectations. I will definitely use them again for my plumbing needs. The pilot light would light but after 10 minutes or so it would shut off. The thermal coupler (sp?) had already been replaced recently and it was still having the same issue. The technician concluded that I would need a new unit and explained that my unit had functioned to it's expected lifetime and without a warrenty, it would be too costly to just repair. I agreed to have them install a new one for me. As for pricing, I'll be honest, I didn't shop around; I chose strictly from reviews here on Angie's List. I didn't have time to shop around due to the nature of the situation and based my decision completely on the what other's on here have said. I think I would be pleased with the outcome either way.

This kind of fairness and honesty is often not seen in business today and greatly appreciated!

Dave installed a new garbage disposal and also repaired a loose faucet in our bathroom as an extra bonus. He was fast and friendly. Prior to service I was given a quick quote by a woman in his office. The appointment was set and our problem was fixed within 48 hours. Good old fashioned service! We know who to call next time.

This was not an emergency request but they were able to provide next-day service. Courteous, professional, and on-time! The plumber was very friendly, explained what he did, and made sure I did not have any questions about the work, use of shut-off valve, etc. Perhaps a little bit pricey for the amount of time required but considering the overall experience I think it was well worth it -- and I have peace of mind the job was done right. I will definitely use them again for future plumbing needs.

On a Saturday I realized that we had a backed up drain in the basement which had created a small flood that had already receded. Called Dave and Jose was at my house in less than 2 hours. He made sure that my assessment was correct, that the mainline was the issue. He checked to make sure it wasn't a leaking toilet line or the line to the kitchen sink that caused the floor. he never tried to upsale anything. Jose was super considerate about keeping the house clean. I told him he could bring the machine through the house but he refused and trucked it around and through the back door. Probably took less than 1.5 hours before he was done. He asked if I wanted to see what he brought back up (NO!) and then he explained why it was significant that he was pulling a large amount of roots back with the line. Learn something new everyday. I was completely satisfied with the process, service, and the price for a Saturday call. I will use Dave Passey every time.

Dave Passey Plumbing set up and appointment, and was prompt. The workman professionally replaced the broken hose bib and was able to do it without having to invasively open the stucco exterior of the wall or cut any wall board inside the house. Job was done quickly and efficiently. Will use these folks again if the opportunity arises.

Very quick response and done professionally. The price was higher than some others I called, but the guy from Dave Passey was able to get out the fastest (I called at 7:30AM on a weekday). If it happens again I would probably try the less expensive (and also well rated) options first, but I have no complaints about the service.
