Description of Work: Cleaned out a clogged basement drain.

Description of Work: Made a call to ask about a consultation on installation of a water softener and got the run around. Was basically told that since I have a finished basement it would require ripping holes everywhere in my ceiling. All I wanted was to have someone come take a look??

Description of Work: Heard good reviews of Dave from friend. Needed to toilet instead of the pricey german one which would not flush thoroughly. Read about Toto as they best brand, called Dave, he said yes had personally installed one in his own home recently and suggested model which was mid-range. Installed next day or two and it is wonderful -- no crap (no pun intended) from wife since it was installed. Had Dave do other heating and hvac work needed. Always prompt and fair.

Description of Work: I had just had some work done by ANY HOUR PLUMBING Pressure reducing valve installed old one was bad But my water pressure was lower then before I signed up with Angies list and called DAVE PASSEY PLUMBING Dave called me back himself within a few hours AMAZING Even though i used another company he answered all my questions and gave me advise on how to fix my issue and as expected i was over charged i worked as a plumbers helper when younger Just so you know his price for same work was just a little over 200. 00 less ANY HOUR PLUMBING CHARGED ME OVER 400.00 IT TOOK THEM ABOUT 30 TO 45 MIN Dave will have all my future plumbing business i am also a small business owner and i learned a long time ago its better to have a long term customer then a one time customer that you overcharge Good job Dave thanks for all your help Howard

Description of Work: I had an outside faucet break, which required me to turn off the water to my whole house until repaired. I called Dave Passet Plumbing, and they were able to have someone here HOURS faster than I'd thought, and earlier than they'd committed, did the repair right and fast, and charged me less than I'd planned. I cannot be more complimentary of the fast and super nice service. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Description of Work: I had a leaky outdoor faucet, but he noticed that it had an extra outlet which did not match anything on the market. (maybe it was custom-made, but I don't know for sure). He tightened another part of the fixture. The $79.00 was a "Trip Charge".

Description of Work: Reset a leaking toilet. Toilet leaked at base because of wrong size wax ring. He put in new wax ring and reset toilet. It works fine now.

Description of Work: Josh called before coming. Beat me to the house and had it fixed by the time I arrived. Unclogged large hair balls and other debris in a main sewer line to one bathroom. On the spur of the moment he followed me about 2 miles and unclogged another bathroom in my rental house. I would definitely use them again. Prompt, fast, good follow up by phone all the way through service. Fair price.

Description of Work: Josh came by on time He is a polite man He did not waste time, but went right to work checking the toilet drain which was plugged up He ran a very long cutting tool through the pipes to get through the clogs, roots, etc Time was approximately one hour. We are very satisfied and will definitely call Dave Passey Plumbing when we need help with any kind of plumbing problem.

Description of Work: They came out quickly to look at a water heater. He fixed the thermal coupler. Fast, Friendly, Reliable service! I will definitely call again!!

Description of Work: Dave did a great job. Not only was his pricing extremely reasonable, he was personable, quick and showed me what the issue was with the affected part. What really helped is that I travel during the week and was concerned that I had a small leak that would become a real problem if it wasn't fixed before I went out of town again. He ensured he made it to my place with time to spare, repaired the problem, and made me completely comfortable that I wouldn't return to any water surprises.

Description of Work: They arrived within the time frame I was given. There was a bit of coming and going and 2 different people involved. They removed old water heater, installed new water heater. Less than 2 hours total. My complaint is that I did not get an itemized receipt, it is difficult to calculate promised Angie's list discount without said receipt. The receipt simply says 50 gal W/H. $750. I asked for the Angie's List discount and they took off $19.20. After pricing the water heater on -line, I believe the my discount should have been at a minimum around $25.00 and depending on the discount they get on the water heater(standard practice in business) possibly as much as $45.00. The main reason I called this company was the excellent review given by Angie's List.

Description of Work: Valve on water heater was leaking and I called them after consulting Angies List. I got a call back from owner who was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and was right on for the problem and cost. His guy showed up at the appointed time and confirmed the work that needed to be done. No run around and no nickle and dime discussion. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

Description of Work: On Saturday 7/9/11, while using a toilet plunger to unclog a clog in my garbage disposal, i broke loose my entire SS sink from my granite countertop. I found Passey Plumbing on Angies List and called them first thing the following Monday. Dave was able to come out that day. He advised me that this was more of a countertop issue vs. a plumbing issue and told me that he would contact one of his countertop subs and get back to me later that day. He followed up 4 hours later and told me him and his sub could be there the next morning at 9:00 AM. I agreed. Bottom line...He was quick, punctual and used a quality sub-contractor who did a great job reinstalling my sink to my countertop. It's been a week now and NO leaks or any other issues. I am very happy with Passey Plumbing and Dave's business card is now in my Home Binder. Highly recommended... Barry L.

Description of Work: They were very punctual (according to my tenant) and performed the work quickly, but did not check the swamp cooler as requested--because I paid a flat hourly rate and the job took about five minutes, this wasn't very good. They also added a fuel charge which was not disclosed when I called them. However, they were very friendly and punctual. The job just involved tightening a pipe that was leaking, apart from the request to check the swamp cooler.

Description of Work: Fixed faucets that were reversed in main bathroom shower. Solved the problem with low water pressure and fixed leaky faucet.

Description of Work: First time they came out, it was because I couldn't get the pilot lights turned on with my water heaters. We just bought the home and it was vacant for a short period of time. Turns out the pilots need to be replaced and they did that on the spot. The also noticed there was exhaust flew (sp?) for the water heaters. He installed one. This should have been caught by the home inspector but was not. If Dave hodn't found that, we would have had carbon monoxide leaking into our home. He very well could have saved our lives. The second time they came out it was because there was a leak in the basement. Turns out it was the master bath tub. They spent over an hour trying to re-create the problem so they could fix it. They did and gave me their best guesstimate of what it was. Unfortunately, the builders of the home did not have an access panel to the jetted tub so a complete diagnosis couldn't be determined unless the tub was lifted and removed. I ended up having to go through my homeowners insurance provider instead of having Passey's do the work, but they were right. They gave personal service with a smile.
