Everything went as promised. Utah Flooring was excellent to deal with. Price was reasonable. We were especially pleased with our installer, Pedro. He knew his job and was very efficient. Based on this experience, we would highly recommend Utah flooring. (Utah flooring expertly corrected a problem that a previous flooring company had caused).

Very well. Utah Flooring and Design managed the job in a professional and timely manner. Sub-contractor RICKY’s PAINTING did an excellent job of prepping and painting in a prompt professional manner. We are very pleased with the work and would use them again.

the company changed the original agreed upon install date without explanation. I had to call and find out why. I was told the installer's car had been broken down for the previous four days. They missed the second rescheduled appointment without any communication. Again, their excuse was the installer's car was still not working. I asked for a refund of my deposit and they said I would need to pay a $199 cancellation fee! I had little choice but to wait again for the installer. He finally showed up to our home and immediately said he could not do the install because he never recieved a work order and did not have the proper materials to complete the job. He put me on the phone with his boss and again I asked for my money back. He refused! This company is extremely unethical. They have offshored their support staff to the Philippines so they can pay lower wages. They are a local company that doesn't believe in supporting their local community. Only after I had left multiple reviews to warn other potential customers of this company did they reach out and "offer" to make a deal: They would refund half my money and I would have to take down my reviews. Don't believe the aritficial overall rating of this company on any website. They are paying unhappy customers to delete their critical reviews. First, that's poor business practice. And second, that's unethical.

The installer was on time and got right to work,and did a good job. Cleaned up after themselves. They were courteous.

I was very impressed with the work and knowledge of the workers, from the first guy, Joe, who came and gave the quote, to the last installers. They were all friendly and happily addressed all my questions and concerns. When the job was over I had a questions about some minor issues and immediately I received 3 messages from different departments who were very eager to resolve the issue and make sure I was completely satisfied. They were in constant communication and did whatever they needed to do. They didn't stop until they knew my husband and I were completely satisfied with their work. I could tell right away that customer satisfaction was very important for this company. I would highly recommend them to anyone and certainly wouldn't hesitate to use them again when another job arises in our home.

The laminates looked great, the team worked really hard. They were 2 hours late, but they called to let me know and then worked late to get it all done (entire basement) in one day.

10/10. Will definitely work with Utah Flooring and Design again! Jack was the first person that we reached out to for a bid that actually showed up when he said he was going to show up to give us a bid. Not only did he show up, but we had a bid before he left the house. As part of their service you receive very clear communications - estimates, work orders / change orders, notifications and reminders for appointments / scheduling, etc. Every person that was assigned to our job from delivery to demo to install showed up on time and left our home (a.k.a. a total construction zone) cleaned-up after each day. Both Achilles, who did the tile and Pedro, who did the wood flooring were total pros and did high-quality work. Looking forward to working with them again when we get around to remodeling the bathrooms!

Jack was super responsive to calls and texts. He came over the same day to bid our remodel. Jack understood what we wanted and helped facilitate our vision. We are very impressed with how the job went and how it turned out. All the contractors cleaned up after themselves every day. Very professional. A great bunch of people to work with.

It went great, typical adjustments had to be made to complete the project due to unforeseen obstacles, but they figured it out in a timely manner and we love our floors. Would use them again!

I did the work and they wanted me to pay them for the work I did.

Worst remodeling experience I've ever had. The job began August 15, 2016 and was completed on October 27, 2016. I was told it would take 3 weeks, and it took almost 3 months. They sent 1 guy to do the whole job. He was very unreliable. He would show up late, take 2 hour lunches, work for a few hours and leave. Many days he didn't show up to work at all. He messed up the new tile floor he installed and he had to redo the tile on shower entry so the new glass door would fit properly. My complaints to the owners were trivialized and ignored. I wish I had hired someone else to do the job. I do not recommend these guys.

They took up the old tiles that had been there for over 20+ years and installed the new laminate. They did a good job, even though they said it was a hard job. Joshua was the one that helped with both the tear-out and install, and he did great. We're both very happy with the new kitchen floor.

Paul showed up late (but did text to say he would be late ... which was OK). And, seemed to understand the job. He said he would call us back with an estimate but NEVER called back. I'm OK if he didn't want to do the job -- tile layers seem to be pretty busy right now. But, I waited a week for him to get back to me before calling for other estimates which has delayed the entire home refurbishment project (need tile done before installing the wood flooring and carpeting). Not getting back to us was Rude and Unprofessional. As I look back through the Angies List reviews this seems to be a pattern from them.
