Worst remodeling experience I've ever had. The job began August 15, 2016 and was completed on October 27, 2016. I was told it would take 3 weeks, and it took almost 3 months. They sent 1 guy to do the whole job. He was very unreliable. He would show up late, take 2 hour lunches, work for a few hours and leave. Many days he didn't show up to work at all. He messed up the new tile floor he installed and he had to redo the tile on shower entry so the new glass door would fit properly. My complaints to the owners were trivialized and ignored. I wish I had hired someone else to do the job. I do not recommend these guys.

They took up the old tiles that had been there for over 20+ years and installed the new laminate. They did a good job, even though they said it was a hard job. Joshua was the one that helped with both the tear-out and install, and he did great. We're both very happy with the new kitchen floor.

Paul showed up late (but did text to say he would be late ... which was OK). And, seemed to understand the job. He said he would call us back with an estimate but NEVER called back. I'm OK if he didn't want to do the job -- tile layers seem to be pretty busy right now. But, I waited a week for him to get back to me before calling for other estimates which has delayed the entire home refurbishment project (need tile done before installing the wood flooring and carpeting). Not getting back to us was Rude and Unprofessional. As I look back through the Angies List reviews this seems to be a pattern from them.

Poor business practices. If you can't make the appointment fine but at least call the customer and explain or reschedule. I lost a day and full day of wages. Very disappointed with this company and will NEVER call them or recommend them to anyone...

They were very attentive and John Sterling did excellent work. Answered all our questions, was very fastidious about the details. He even came back to resand and finish a couple areas where the appliance installers scratched the floor

They did not show up on the start date. They had a "miscommunication". Two days later an installer showed up to talk about the job. There were several "miscommunications" during the week on who was to work on the job. A week later another installer showed up. He refused to put his tile saw on the side of the house - he set it up in my back yard. I still have small tile bits in the grass. The installer complained about how little he was being paid and that he was going to "milk" the job to get paid more. Installer refused to put up tile baseboard unless we paid an addition $50 to him. Could not reach company, paid installer (big mistake!) They did not complete the job: 1) did not caulk the tile; 2) construction debris not removed; 3) tools left on the site. Poor workmanship: 1. The mosaic tile trim is waivey. 2. Bull-nose tile was used around the opening instead of on the curbing, like I asked. 3. Tile on floors and walls uneven. 4. Tiled over opening for toilet. 5. Tiled over opening for shower regulator. 6. Tile for opening for lights in shower not rounded - the circular light trim does not fit properly. The company charged my card for the final payment WITHOUT authorization or completing the job.

After the estimate I told Paul Turpin that I wanted to use his service. I was going to buy the carpet from him and have them install the carpet on my outdoor patio. I had an outdoor kitchen that was to be delivered and set up right after the installation so I needed a firm commitment that the work would be done on time and he gave me that commitment. Well that's the end of any type of professional customer service. Paul did not return phone calls, emails or text messages except to say he would provide carpet samples three days before the installation date (Tuesday and the install was to be Friday, my kitchen was to be installed on Saturday)... Well no carpet samples, no return phone call or text. In fact most of the time I could not leave a message because his voicemail was full. Probably with messages from other frustrated "customers". Now I have to find a new contractor, push the kitchen installation back a week as well as a vacation we were going to take the following weekend. Three words for Utah Floor Coverings: Unprofessional, Unreliable, Unresponsive. Don't waste your time.

I checked with a lot of floor companies, but these guys were able to give me the best deal!
