The initial call was handled professionally and arrangements were made for someone to come to our home to provide us an estimate. Troy was prompt when he came for the estimate and provided us with an estimate. An appointment was made and Troy returned to complete these jobs. He was prompt and completed all the projects. Troy even fixed a manufacturing defect in one of the cabinets to ensure a drawer was flush with the cabinet. We were very satisfied with the work and will certainly call them again for other handyman projects.

Working with Troy was very easy. His online appointment service is very handy. Troy is upfront about what he is qualified to handle and also provided references for work out of his wheelhouse. He has a can-do attitude. The work he did was not particularly difficult, but I will hire Troy again in the future.

I used the service twice, and it was good. He did a great job. Tyler came out to do the half day, and he did absolutely everything I asked, and he did a perfect job on everything. He fixed a fence, the cabinet, and a whole bunch of different stuff. The other guy who came out was just supposed to remove something from the disposal, which he did, and then I needed him to look at the door downstairs because they needed some insulation. He only insulated 6 inches on one of the doors. The whole thing ended up costing 190 Dollars, compared to the deal that I had purchased before. The big deal was great, and the guy who came out was really good. I would use them again and I would probably ask for Tyler.

Troy arrived exactly on time. He was courteous, knowledgeable, well-prepared, and competent. He did not waste time or "work the clock" -- he got right to work. I asked him about future projects -- replacing the under floor insulation and modifying the crawl space access door -- and he said he would be able to handle them just fine. I am looking forward to engaging his services again in the future.

It was a good experience. He was very thorough, clean, and did a very nice job. We’ve gotten quite a few compliments on the job.

Troy hung three interior blinds, patched the ceiling in my bathroom where I previously had a plumber remove a 12" by 12" section of the drywall, installed a new door knob, put new silicone around my bathtub, and installed weatherstripping around my front door. He was at my home for 4 hours. I thought he was very nice and efficient. He worked quickly and I felt comfortable leaving him in my home alone while I ran to Home Depot to exchange the new doorknob.

The purchase worked out well, but I didn't line up enough work for him, because he worked quickly. He did a good job though, so I can't complain. He was also on time.

We have been using Yellow Van Handyman ever since we moved into the area and had a to-do list that was too long for me to handle. The company handles his appointments, and Troy arrives on time for each one. He walked through the home, looking at each of our concerns, taking down notes, and got back to us with an itemized list of repairs. After reviewing the costs and timelines, he set to work, and finished on time. The one minor issue involves drywall patching - there were a few walls with small nail holes that were not patched, even though I feel they should have been.

The only reason I gave it a C on price is because I thought it was a little costly just to do walls. I was charged extra for doors and the change of colors in a room. I would not recommend Yellow Van if you have a lot of painting to do. Otherwise, yes I liked Troy and was very pleased with his work.

I purchased the "Handyman for a day" coupon and it was well worth the money. Troy was professional and did a great job on everything he did throughout the day. I feel like I got more than a days worth of work. I would have Troy back again in a heartbeat.

Went fine. Nice guy. Job just wasn't do-able because of wiring and the lack there of.

Troy was knowledgeable and friendly. He gave me options in terms completely stripping and restraining my windows vs. touching up the areas that are showing wear to save time/money. They look great with the less is more approach; that is just what I needed. I am having him return in a couple of weeks for more projects.

I scheduled an appointment for 9-9-2013. No one showed up and no one called to reschedule.

I purchased an Emily's List 2-room interior (walls only) paint coupon for the two rooms Troy painted and paid additional $$ for the ceiling and trim in one of the rooms (and paid additional $$ for all the rest of the miscellaneous jobs). Troy was on time and professional, but I found a few of the jobs not done/finished properly. One room turned out well, but the other dried to reveal the prior color of paint showing through. I ended up re-rolling all of the walls with one more coat of paint. He did cut all the corners so I didn't have to - but it was a bummer that he didn't make sure there was proper coverage. I have never had a painter leave a room without making sure it looked good. But the big reason that I am writing this review is that the toilet paper holder that he mounded to the wall (of the room with the sub-standard painting) fell off tonight. It turns out that he mounted - only one - drywall anchor into a patch. Instead of patching and painting the area where the old toilet paper holder was, and then mounting two drywall anchors into "fresh" drywall. I just patched the hole and will re-paint tomorrow. Really disappointed to discover he didn't do it right.

I had used Troy previously because of a coupon on Angie's list. He charged me more than the coupon because he said that the rooms were bigger than expected. The maximum room size needs to be stated on the coupon. He did a good enough job and was professional enough, so I rehired him to do my stairway walls. Again, he did a good job.

He was very responsive and professional. The sink looks great and the countertop too!

It went very well. He was quick and efficient. I wish I had been better prepared. He finished more quickly than I had anticipated and after he left I wish I had had him clean some exterior windows to fill out the rest of the time. Next time I'll be better prepared with a list of things to have him do to fill in any extra time.

Have absolutely no complaints. He arrived on time, did all that was asked of him, and was friendly and polite.

Troy was right on time every single day. In fact, he told me it was important that he arrive right at 8:00 AM so that I get the most for my money. He is very professional, knowledgable and keeps his workplace exceptionally clean during his work and after it is complete. After the job was done, he sent us a hand-written note thanking us for our business. We've hired many contractors for our home improvement projects over the years. Troy is by far amongst the very best! He will be the first we call for all our future needs.
