The quality of his work, his professionalism and his punctuality is unsurpassed by any person I have do similar work over the years. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs handyman work at any level. His prices have always been very reasonable and he does what he says he is going to do when he says he will do it. People can pay more or less for the same service but will not get the caliber of job he does.

Great. My only 'complaint' is that Dave is in demand, so I've had to set up appointments a month or more in advance. This guy does good work, gives good advice and goes the extra mile.

I think Dave is too busy starting to hand select who he wants to work with and who not. That last job he did was overcharged and the customer was not at all happy. I have referred allot of business to Dave. I think he is too busy and I will be looking for a new handyman.

Dave Wright is extremely knowledgeable about a wide variety of things in and around the house. We plan to use his services further to complete several projects around the house that have been sitting unfinished and/or in need of repair for eons. There is a waiting list, but that is to be expected when you want the best!

I have referred him to a lot of clients. He is extremely punctual, reliable, and sticks to what he says he will do. The pricing is also very fair. I have had very good response and comments from the people I have referred him to.

Dave was great to work with, even my kids thought he was nice. He made good use of time, starting with the drywall so it could dry while he worked on baseboards. I was surprised how much he accomplished in one day. The work looked professional. He even cleaned up after himself. I asked him to re-cut a baseboard piece I thought didn't look consistent with the other work, and he switched it out without hesitation. I will call him again in the future.

We had our downstairs door kicked in on Dec 10th and the robbers just absolutely destroyed the door, the frame and the jam. That night we tried to fix it as best we could but the whole thing was just mangled and we were left just short of a giant gaping hole in the house. (Right as a winter storm hit, naturally.) I called Yellow Van Handyman and the lady was able to squeeze me in for a quick consult with Dave the very next day. We live in an older home so naturally the door size and shape would need to be custom ordered. This of course took a few weeks for Dave to receive the door from the manufacturer it had been ordered from. It came in right around Christmas day. Dave had set an appointment to come install it Christmas Eve day (Seriously how nice is that?) but due to a family issue had to re-schedule for January. He was out yesterday promptly on time and was done really quickly even though he had to move the door over and re-set and shim the whole frame and jam. The door fits so snugly now, the weather stripping and threshold are way better than even before it got kicked in! I bet I will even see a few bucks off my energy bills because the old door never did fit in there well and left big gaps. Thanks for everything Dave!

Dave was prompt and did a great job caulking my windows all around the house. I also wanted him to caulk my driveway with industrial strength cement caulk but the timeframe didn't allow for this to happed so I tried to reschedule for another time. I would definitely call him again for help with handiman or other contractor type help.

Called and got a distribution service. They said the handyman in my area is very busy because he is so good. They said he could come out for an hour appointment in a week to look at and price replacing our rotting deck stairs. I expressed that if he was too busy to come out to give a quote, he probably wouldn't be able to get the work done before winter. They insisted he could get it done, so we waited a week, he came out and looked around and said he'd send a quote. We never heard from them again.

Came when stated. Finished installation within stated time.

The door is good, but the seal on the bottom didn't fit. I'm not sure I needed it anyways.

I suffered a house fire in July 2014. I spent 7 months of trying to work with a group that supposedly reconstructed my house. The experience was horrible. They couldn't care less about customers, the job, etc. One item done poorly was installation of front and back doors as well as screen doors. I had Dave Wright (Yellow Van Handyman) fix the problems. My experience with Yellow Van Handyman (Dave Wright) (HomeTask.com) was absolutely and completely awesome compared to the previous months. Dave repaired storm doors and front and back doors that had been poorly installed. Cost was reasonable. Repair was done in a timely manner and Dave was courteous and professional. The experience was a "breath of fresh air". Thanks so much! I will work with him again.

Dave came out to access our large exterior entry door being out of adjustment. He quickly determined he could bring it back into adjustment (or pretty close) using some shim material behind the hinges. It worked and looks much better. The reveal on each edge of the door is now much closer to being uniform. He also told me the "builder grade" lockset on the door would at some point fail prematurely and recommended another more trusted brand to possibly be installed by me in the future. Dave was very personable,knowledgeable, and a pleasure to have work on our home. He will be our "go to" guy for sure. .

Dave is great to work with and very knowledgeable about construction. He worked quickly and completed everything in a timely manner. I don't know how competitive his rate is with other handyman services in the area, but he gives you a lot of work and expertise in the time frame the Yellow Man Handyman franchise uses. We will definitely use his services again.
