I'm as anaytical as it gets in comparing value, from the quality of the product to the quality of the service--I took a long time to do my research as this was a lot of money to invest in upgrading the old home we just purchased--nearly a year later, I can't tell you just how absolutely delighted we are with the function and beauty of the windows, must say the expert installation and the "walk your talk" customer service.

I was pleased with the work. Estimate was accurate. Work was done on time as scheduled. No problems.

The estimator arrived within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. He was very knowledgeable and took only 30 minutes to take all the measurements and to answer all my questions. They sent me the estimate within two days and installed the windows four days later. The install went great. The installer was the same person that had done the estimate. He called just before the scheduled time to let me know that he would be late and let me know about when he would arrive. He arrive right on time. The install only took about 3 hours and the windows look and work great. There was no mess or clutter left after the job. I would definitely use this company again.

Their service was very good. They clean up their mess, which they never make. They get the work done and take care of me. The quality of the windows is very good and my home is now a lot warmer.

Their service is wonderful. They are very personable. The sales man first comes out and then the owner comes out to make the second measurements. The owner talks to you and makes you like you have known him forever. I have been very happy with their personal service and their excellent customer service.

Their service was good. They first workman who came made an error. However, the guy who came to follow up with the work was awesome. He was very careful, explained everything, and made sure everything was done correctly.

We really enjoyed their responsiveness and the personal attention we received from our sales guy. They charged us exactly what they said they would. They showed up on time. The guys were friendly and they cleaned up after themselves.

Their service worked out well. I am satisfied with the work. They were prompt and on time. They did everything right. I am happy with their service.

That pat of the project they did very well and very meticulously. Overall, the service was pretty good. I had a few complaints but I would consider using them again. I was frustrated with the coordination of it all. They left me hanging about scheduling and who to contact. They were not informative about the process so it was not completed by the time we were hoping for. There was a lack of communication.

We had a great experience with All Purpose Windows and Doors. We worked with Jeff, and he did a great job with the estimate, very professional and not pushy, just told us our options. The price was fairly similar to other companies we had received estimates from, but with the Angie's List Big Deal coupon we bought, we did save a few hundred dollars. The installation crew was quick and cleaned up after themselves. The only negative thing I can say, is they told us the windows we were getting qualified for utility rebates, but after installation when I went to apply for the rebates the window rating was no longer high enough to qualify for the rebate. I think the utility company changed the rating qualifications at some point and All Purpose Windows was no longer up to date.

I called on Monday 10/22/12 to schedule an appointment to have someone come and give me a bid to get a single pane of glass replaced on a large double paned window that we have. They pleasantly scheduled an appointment immediately for Thursday 10/25/2012 for the time slot from 11am-12noon. On Wednesday 10/24/12 I received a phone call from them asking me if there was any way that I could reschedule, due to a conflict. No problem. I asked when they would like to reschedule. They told me they could still come on Thursday 10/25/12 but needed to move the time to the slot of 1pm-2pm. I stressed that I would need to leave the house by 215pm to pick up children at school, and they assured me that it wouldn't be a problem, that they had another appointment at 2pm and so I would be fine on time. Thursday 10/25/12 came...1pm came...2pm came...3pm came...and here we are at 415pm...and No one has called, no one has shown up. Will definitely not do business with. I am sure this has some reason to do with the service that I needed, being a smaller job. But this is very disappointing...as in our case, a smaller job would have most certainly led to a larger, more worth while job.

One man came out and worked 7 hours.

Very well. Geoff, the representative, identified the problem with our existing windows (warped vinyl on a southern exposure), recommended alternatives and replacement options, was very conscientious in identifying the type of window that would fit well with our existing wood blinds and drapery. The quality of the replacements appears to be excellent, the fit and balance with our existing structures is outstanding, and the process of installing, applying insulation, and applying stucco to match the surrounding wall appear to be excellent.

Nothing to tell. Never heard from them again even thought I called them to remind the salesman that we were awaiting his bid.

They are very professional and polite. They charged me $633. They replaced the best glass possible in the windows. I would definitely use them again in the future.

They were prompt, professional and friendly. They answered all my questions, and i had many. They completed all 5 windows in less than 3 hours and left the house as clean as it was when they arrived.

..I got a coupon from Angie's List for new windows. I am very satisfied with the work. They did exactly what they said they would do and charged what they said they would.

Company did excellent job. They were good people to work with and they added extra items at their own initiative. The door had not been pre-painted, as per the original agreement, so they came out and painted it on site. I highly recommend them.

They were running a special. Their salesperson was so freaky that I didn't hire them. He seemed to have zero sales training. He basically shot himself in the foot with every movement and every word that came out of his mouth. I didn’t use All Purpose Windows & Doors and went with someone else.

This has been a great company to work with from start to finish. We moved into our home about six months ago and quickly realized the existing aluminum windows had to go - they were cold and drafty as well as seemed to magnify the outside sound instead of dampen it. After several other companies provided description of services and estimated costs I contacted All-Purpose Windows and Doors based upon Angie's List recommendations and that my significant other had previously used. The other companies were contacted because of coupons offered. After calling and arranging for an in home appointment we had Rusty come by to discuss what our needs were. The best thing about Rusty was that he listened to what we wanted and did not try to push products. After getting an idea of what we wanted and needed Rusty was very helpful in suggesting some window pane options to reduce outside noise. With the offered Angie's List coupon we were able to get what we wanted, a much better product, and at a lower overall price than what any of the other companies had offered. Rusty stated that the windows would take about 6 weeks to custom build and delivery. We were happy when Rusty called and arranged a convenient install date a week earlier than expected. On the arranged install date Kasey and the install crew arrived right on time ready to go. What a whirlwind of activity! I was very impressed and amazed with how organized and quick the crew worked! Six hours later everything thing was completely finished - including the cleanup in which they left my home cleaner than they found it. That evening we had a big snowfall and we were very happy to watch it from inside our warm home through our new Amsco windows. The windows definitely have made a big difference in both home warmth and sound reduction. They are also very nice looking from the outside. You can really tell they are a step above the other windows in the neighborhood that have not yet been updated and upgraded. I highly recommend All-Purpose Windows and Doors to whoever may be looking for replacement windows.

After interviewing many window companies, I chose to hire All Purpose Windows & Doors to replace all the windows in our home... and I am very happy with that decision! I had them instal 20 Marvin Integrity windows in the main living areas of the home, and 5 less expensive vinyl windows in the basement window wells. My home has a stucco exterior, which complicates everything. They have a great stucco guy who came out and cut back the stucco. All Purpose then came out and removed the old windows, installing the new ones as they went so that they would do 5-8 windows in a day. They always cleaned up after themselves and did a fantastic job. One of their installers is a great interior finisher and he bullnosed and cut the wood for the new (real wood) interior window sills in order to replace the existing crummy MDF sills. Once all the windows were in, the stucco guy came back, created pop-outs around all the windows, and did a fantastic job matching the old stucco. The job went MUCH smoother than I imagined it would considering how much work we were having done. They were very responsive to any concerns and listened to and did exactly what we wanted. The Marvin Integrity windows are incredible. We put in all types of windows: casement, picture, vertical sliders and horizontal sliders and they all work flawlessly. The difference with the decreased solar heat gain in the summer over the old windows was immediately noticeable. Now that we have had colder nights, the improved thermal insulation is also obvious. I would highly recommend All Purpose Windows & Doors for their work and I also love the Marin Integrity product. After a lot of research, I felt that the Marvin Integrity line was what I wanted, and they are one of the few dealers for that line but I can honestly say that All Purpose and Marvin make a great pairing. Rusty was our salesman and has my information if anyone needs to see the windows installed in a stucco home...

They replaced four windows. Sales rep was prompt, very friendly, and suggested more expensive items but didn't push at all. I was then contacted by the guy who measures and sets up the appointment to do the work. He arrived promptly and was also easy to work with. The two installers came on the appointed day to install once the wondows were completed. They arrived on time and it took less than a day for them to do four good size windows. They were considerate while in my home and cleaned up after themselves before they leeft. The whole process took a 2 - 3 weeks which is good in my experience when your having custom windows ordered and installed.

They did great work and I would highly recommend them. They did what they said they would and they charged what they said they would. In my opinion they are best in town and I will use them again.

They did a good job but we were looking a different options. I told them I wanted to go with wood if it was possible and the sales man suggested I go with a product of the subsidiary of the company that makes the windows they install. I found out after the fact it did not quite meet the insulation standards you would need when putting gin new windows. The work was good and great job installing but the product didn't come up to standards. It was better than an old fashioned window but not as good as a new insulated window.
