He put in nylon rollers and greased the door.

I set appointment to have rollers installed. They arrived on time and performed work promptly. Tried to up sell additional service to garage door but I thought it was very expensive.

The service repair man arrived on time. He fixed a problem and did a service maintenance inspection etc. Very pleased with repairs and repair man was very through. A+

The two young men were pleasant enough and punctual. However, they weren't there more than 10 minutes before they started trying to sell us stuff. First it was a new door opener because ours is old (it works fine). He said the power settings on the opener were too high but didn't try to lower them. Then it was a door seal, even thought there is no evidence this door has ever had one installed. They told us that our door had "stress cracks" and probably should be replaced ( he was pointing at a spot where the door had been hit by a car bumper and bent). Then they used vise-grip pliers to bend open the door roller tracks to remove and replace the rollers rather than unscrewing the roller mounts like a professional. When they went to "lube" the door they sprayed silicone on all the hinges and were going to leave it at that. When I asked about the door opener chain and guide they said the chain ( the metal chain driven by a metal sprocket) didn't ever get lubed. When they lubed the guide for the door opener they put the grease on the bottom of guide, the door opener traveling bracket rides on the top of the guide. They seem puzzled and upset that I could see that but reluctantly lubed the top of the guide. These are nice enough people but they are not professional garage door technicians.

It went quite smoothly overall. It took a little longer than expected, due to the weekend and an apparent shortage of workmen. Although I recommend Precision Doors, I was somewhat annoyed at the effort to "up-sell" me on more work, but the additional work was appropriate.

I have been trying to get my garage door serviced for a couple of weeks. I was finally able to connect with the company and schedule an appointment for Tuesday between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. I got a voice mail around 5:00 pm stating that the service person was running about an hour late. At 7:30 pm, I got another call stating he was still coming, but running later than expected. Considering that would mean he would not get there at least after 8:00 pm, I asked if we could reschedule for Thursday? They said that I could do that, so we scheduled it for Thursday between noon and 2:00 pm. I called and left a voice mail trying to confirm my appointment after not hearing anything by 1:45 pm. I also sent an email for the same purpose. I have not heard anything yet (currently 2:15 pm). There is a deal going with Angie's list for another garage company service, so I will go with them. I can only hope they do a better job. I am VERY frustrated! I did give them a "C" for professionalism, because the people I talked to on the phone were always nice. This doesn't help get service people to help me, but at least I didn't have to deal with anyone rude.

Came on time. Did great work and was very smart on garage doors. I would use them again.

The light on our garage door had been out for months and in the process of selling our home the time came to fix it. The repairman was very professional, was in uniform and identified himself. He fixed the lighting and tuned up the wheels and rail for a smoother and quieter door. He explained everything he did. Yes we would use this company again.

Excellent analysis and explanation of the problems. Provided good guidance on options. Multiple trips required which could have been reduced.

Perfect! Precision doors originally serviced our garage door 6+ years ago. Recently one of the springs broke and Precision came over the next day and replaced both springs -- no charge for the labor or the new springs.

Was scheduled to come at 11:00. Called at 12;00 to say he was 15 min away. I called at 1 to find out where he was. The operator said he was stuck in traffic and would be here in 30 min. She also said he had tried calling me and there was no answer. I was home the whole time AND my caller ID had no record of an additional call from him. I called 45 minutes later (3 hours after the scheduled appointment) to cancel the appointment. There were no apologies and everyone I spoke to was very rude.

I was not impressed. I just feel like they overcharged. I think they took advantage of us. They tried harder at trying to sell us a new door than fixing the one we have.

I feel they cheated me. I had a coupon for a service call, which included the inspection. They charged me for the inspection, plus added another charge for the call, which came to $50 that I was overcharged.

They came out to fix my door the same day that I called them. The estimate that he gave me was exactly what I was charged. I would recommend this company to my friends and family if their garage door was ever in need of repair.

It was a great experience working with this company. The estimate they gave us for the job was accurate. I am happy with the overall experience.
