Plumbing Plus

I called Plumbing Plus based on reviews from Angie's List. They were very professional and responsive. When I told them I heard from them Angie's List they immediately offered a 15% new customer reduced rate. Appointment was made for later that day and the service man showed up on time. The clog ran much farther into the pipes than anticipated, but he was able to reach it through going up the pipe in our unfinished basement. I thought this was very creative and demonstrated his expertise. He made sure everything was clean and good order before he left. I feel that I was charged a fair price based for the work performed and will use them again.

They came when they said they would and they did give us a quote over the phone. They did the job in about an hour or an hour and a half. They did a good job and they completed the work. They actually charged us about $200 less than they quoted us. We will use them again in the future if we need to.

The service person who helped us was very nice and he did a good job. However, our review is mixed because the job cost a lot more than quoted. I called and asked someone to come out and give us a bid on fixing the sprayer on our kitchen sink. The person on the phone said, "Oh, I don't need to come see it. I have that part in my truck. It won't take any time. $120-$150." We agreed, and set an appointment. But when the representative came, it turned out that he didn't have the part in the truck. Instead, he had to go out and find it. One $65 part later, plus 2 hours and 18 minutes of labor, the bill was $281 (and that was with a 15% Angie's List discount). So we're happy with the work and the representative was really nice. But the job cost more than twice what we were told. Had they quoted that in the first place, it would have been fine.

Our water heater sprung a significant leak and replacement was the only option. We called more than half a dozen different companies and this was the only one that took the time to explain various pricing levels, warranty options and offered installation that day. While the price was about the same price I received from every other company, the level of service and detail was not. The installation guy was on time and hard working. He was not the least bit annoyed that I wanted to check in on the process and was glad to answer my questions along the way. He was careful not to make a mess, which is easy to do with water all over the floor. My follow up call regarding warranty details and energy rebates was handled promptly and politely. I would highly recommend this company.

Contacted Plumbing Plus on Friday, March 16th to arrange for a plumber to come out and take care of a number of small jobs around our home. Rene was very friendly and easy to work with (in addition to being quite knowledgable about plumbing and repairs) and we made an appointment for Monday, March 19th for a workman to come out and complete the work we needed. Eric arrived as scheduled on Monday ready to work. He was also friendly, knowledgable, and great to work with. Eric was clean and professionally dressed and had all the tools and equipment necessary to perform the work. We toured the house and I laid out the work needed, which consisted of repairing a faucet and a leaky pipe in our main bath, repairing the shower faucet in the master bath, and installing a new kitchen faucet that my wife had picked out earlier in the week. After our review, Eric got right to work. His work was performed efficiently and with proper attention to detail. He was even able to save us some money by repairing some items rather than just replacing parts and charging more than necessary. The final bill was actually less than the original estimate and was fair and reasonable for the amount of time and the parts needed to make the necessary repairs. We will definitely call on this company in the future for all of our plumbing needs and would highly reccomend them for your plumbing work and repairs. Eric and Rene are professional, efficient, and dedicated to serving the customer...!!!

Communication with Rene and the company owner were verey good. The company culture seems to emphasize communication. The Plumbing Plus workers called me twice to ensure that the work was completed as requested. I value this in a company.

My kitchen faucet was leaking and I needed a repair or replacement. I found that Moen faucets are fully guaranteed. A replacement was ordered and I arranged for Plumbing Plus to install it. I was delighted to discover the price for the install. The service person was on time and replaced the faucet without difficulty.

Workman got right to work and did repairs. He did leave for awhile to get a hose for the washing machine. I expected that he would be right back but he apologized later and said he had gotten stuck on another emergency call.

On day one, the contractor dug the hole next to the house, for the water meter, and for the new connection. The torpedo was then set and bored the hole under the front yard and then under the street. The new water lines were then placed in the bored holes and the meter yoke was set. The hole in the street at the existing connection was dug and the pipe was exposed. On day two, the connection to the main was made, the meter was moved from the old location to the new one and the connection to the house plumbing was made. The water to the house was off for approximately 3 hours total. The existing connection was removed and the three holes were backfilled. On day three, the asphalt in the street was patched, the connection to the existing yard sprinklers was finished and some remaining cleanup was done. The hole for the existing meter was also filled and patched..

Mike arrived when expected and took the time to talk over the job with me prior to starting. He also kept me in the loop when there were things he didn't anticipate (hangers for the pipe not fitting once the repair was done) and he took time to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. Mike was careful in keeping things clean and took care to dust up all the drilling debris after he was done. Glad to have him in our house to do this work!

Plumbing Plus could not have been better. We got lucky that when the owner came out to give us an estimate on the replacement of a water heater he noticed that we had a HUGE puddle of water near one of our trees next to our home. This was in an area that we would never have noticed because we rarely, if ever, use our front door. Not only did he give us an estimate that included much of the work that another company had said would cost us hundreds of dollars, but explained why he would choose certain products, a short company history, and was just overall a really nice guy. He also suggested I do research online for the type of water heater he suggested rather than just taking his word for it (I don't think I've ever heard of an estimate that included that suggestion). He also explained what may or may not be required to fix the obvious underground leak near our foundation. He was very thorough, spoke to me in basic terms that I could understand, but did not talk down to me or in any way make me feel like I could not comprehend what needed to be done. The water heater was installed quickly, efficiently and was very reasonably priced. The outside leak required them taking our the smallish tree (alright is was an 8 feet tall and 6 feet in diameter dwarf Alberta Spruce) near our home so they could get to the leak which was about 3-feet down. Because it was so close to our home they had to do this by hand. It was a very cold Utah morning when the guys dug down into the VERY muddy mess that had obviously been a problem for at least a month or more. They fixed the problem without a hitch and were extremely nice about the work required. And because this was an emergency situation they were more inexpensive than I could have ever hoped. Sometimes having service people come into your home can be a little sketchy, but all of the plumbers who came to our home were people I would have in my home whether they were service vendors or not. They were all very nice guys who were respectful of my home, my time and acted like they truly wanted to do a good job, not just a fast and sloppy job. I got on Angie's List expressly for the purpose of looking for a plumber. I can't say enough good about Plumbing Plus. I am so appreciative of Angie's List and those who had reviewed Plumbing Plus so positively. They were correct. I will never call another plumber again!

Our experience with Plumbing Plus was very positive. All aspects of the job were explained in detail and performed in a prompt, efficient manner. A cracked sewer line is a very stressful situation. Plumbing Plus was professional, skilled and very considerate in fixing our problem. They will be at the top of my list for any future plumbing issues.

The bid process was well-done and explicit on what they would do and for what price. Paul was timely in responding to the first call for a bid as was Jeremey when he came to do the work - letting us know in each instance when he would arrive. The job took three visits, one due to a part that needed to wait to be attached until after a repair was done inside the bathtub and the second when a small leak was noted underneath the sink basin. In all instances, Plumbing Plus was focused on making everything work to our satifaction and were very cooperative in accomodating our schedules for the service visits.

Very professional and fair. They even took great care not to disturb the shrubs any more than required.

My parents have a very outdated sprinkler system with old valves. a valve malfunction caused the line to stay open with water leaking constantly. it was advised through their inspection that rather than try to replace the existing valve with a similar one it would be better to replace with an updated valve which in the long run would be less expensive. it did take several days to get the proper parts but once the work was completed there have been no other issues. I received several updates from staff and owner advising of the delay. I relayed to Plumbing plus that my parents are on a fixed income and disposable funds are at a minimum and that we needed to get this work done in as much of an economical manner as possible. I believe that this organization understood and respected that request. We will undoubtedly utilize their services if the need arises in the future.

He checked the ice maker, valve, and pipes to make sure all was right. He showed us how the ice maker works. We turned the ice maker back on and worked ok. He checked the valve, etc. He gave us several pointers. Like never go out of town with the water on. Turn the main off. He didn't charge us an emergency fee. He took his time and checked things and taught us about it all. I have been using this company for 17 years and have always been thrilled with their service, expertise, kindness, extra advice, and price. They put in a bath downstairs and have unclogged just about everything in the house due to kids, dog, etc. An A+++ company.

Both experiences were positive. Paul and his associate, Eric, were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and neat. They went out of their way to accommodate our schedules and followed up to ensure that we were absolutely satisfied with their work. We will definitely use them again.

They were prompt. They got here when they said they would. They are easy to get along with. They have reasonable prices.

The worker seemed very efficient and did a good job. They were fairly priced and I liked them a lot. I will continue to use their services in future.

Plumbing Plus did an excellent job in replacing the sewer line. Paul did his research, going down to the city offices to look at maps before he gave me the estimate. The project had its challenges. They carefully dug around a tree in the parking strip that was just a couple of feet from the sewer line. It was not harmed. The line went uphill and under a cement patio. They used a backhoe where it was appropriate and hand dug when necessary. The plumbers were prompt and professional, despite the difficulty of the job. My old water heater happened to fail just before they started the project. It was great to get a quick estimate and a prompt replacement. The cost listed for this report is the combined cost of sewer line replacement and water heater. I would choose Plumbing Plus again.

They are excellent, and I have always been very happy with them. They always come when they are supposed to, and as far as I can tell, their prices are right in line. I found them on Angie’s List. I would recommend them to others. I would rate them highly and would definitely use them again in the future.

Leaky tub, have used Paul for years, a dear friend passed away and Paul showed up to fix the tub WITH FLOWERS, i would never use anyone else for my plumbing needs. amazing guy. this is the kind of person i want to do business with.

There was alot of water dripping from a pipe that appeared to be in the upstairs bathroom. I thought it had something to do with the toilet. So I called Plumbing Plus as per Angie's List, they have received high praise. I am sorry to say I don't remember the plumbers name, but he was VERY courteous and knowledgeable. I showed him what I thought was the problem. After talking to him he determined that the problem was not with the upstairs bathroom but with the vent pipe on the roof. The caulking had pulled away from the flashing. Monday was the day we had that very heavy rain. The rain was dripping down the pipe. The plumber caulked the flashing. He was walking out the door and I asked him how much we owed him, and he said that either the owner would send a bill or it was on the house. An unexpected surprise. I will use this company again and will recommend them to anyone looking for a good, honest plumbing company.
