Eric, the plumber, came on time, and did a very thorough inspection work including removing a basement toilet to gain access to the sewer line because we were not able to locate an outside access panel. He was able to address many important issues in the sewer line of the house and explained each item patiently and completely. He also returned to the property to complete the work in a timely manner realizing I was dealing with a tight deadline. He was extremely professional. Renee, who works at the front office, was also very responsive and courteous in making appointments and answering many questions. Paul, the owner, was also very responsive to all the questions I had. Everyone in this office is respectful, intelligent and caring about their customers in a sincere manner. We will definitely be calling them for our future plumbing work.

I called Plumbing Plus based on their excellent reviews on Angies List and they didn't disappoint. They came out the very same day I called and completed the work within a couple hours. The price was fair and the employees were very professional, from the person that answered the initial call down to the plumber that actually did the work. Thanks so much!

The work was completed satisfactorily, though they were in and out in less than 20 minutes. Given that we paid for 1 full hour (their minimum billing increment) I would have expected to see them make even a semblance of an attempt to utilize the time. Considering that our sink needed to be reinstalled, etc..., there was plenty of opportunity for them to utilize the remainder of our hour within the very bathroom he was working in. The fact is that companies are absolutely looking for shortcuts these days, they feel that their potential is best realized by rapidly hopping from job to job. Since you're always worried about catching the next fish, you don't really care about things like satisfaction or quality. The plumber also tool the piece of drywall that he removed, which is quite puzzling. Our painter could have simply refit that section, patched and painted. Instead we have to track down a scrap of drywall. They may have thought they were being tidy, but that seems like a rookie move to me. It is small potatoes, but is just one more incremental cost/hassle for us to deal with. Their billing breakdown is as follows: Labor 1.00 TOTAL HOURS (Minimum Charge) .50 HOURS @ 89.00 per 1st 1/2 hour - $89.00 .50 HOURS @ 99.00 per hour - $47.50 Angie's list first time customer discount 15% - ($20.77) Materials4 inches of pvc pipe and 2 fittings - $10.22 Total - $127.95 When all is said and done, they did repair the pipe. But if you're going to bill me for a 1 hour increment (which I entirely understand), be motivated to deliver an entire hour of service. If you don't want to do that, stop tying your minimum rate to a time phase, and instead call it an arrival fee, which is likely more descriptive. If they're the sort of company that is going to itemize a 4" section of PVC on a bill, they should apply that level of attention to actually delivering the time I've paid for. These days this has become standard operating procedure for service oriented businesses, that is, do the very least amount of work possible (at any cost). Just because they're all doing it doesn't make it right. This will ultimately catch up to companies like Plumbing Plus, because I still believe that repeat/referral business is important in the Angie's List world we live in. I have to imagine that this company does fine work overall, the other reviews on this site indicate that to be the case. But I also know that there are business owners out there that will find ways to delight their customers, or at very least deliver what they're charging for. Update - 9/12/2012: I did receive a call from the office manager the day after this review was posted. She said that she was sorry for my experience, and seemed genuinely interested in my feedback. Time will tell if they choose to act on it. She implied that something "could have been done" if I would have contacted them prior to writing my review. Because it was actually my fault for not policing them to ensure maximum utilization (their agreement didn't stipulate that they actually had to provide me with the hour I paid for), I declined and asked to pay the full amount over the phone. Lesson learned. I do believe that this is a good company in spite of my specific experience, mistakes/problems happen and they did more than most companies do by simply calling after the fact. I appreciated that. She specifically asked that I would reconsider my ratings for responsiveness and punctuality, which I did. They were fine in that regard, but I don't believe that their efforts in that area deserve an "A", only because, in my opinion, it would inaccurately raise the average grade for the transaction as a whole. A 'B' is a good compromise.

Very prompt and quickly took care of problem. He had what was needed in his truck, so he didn't have to come back. I was pleased with his work.

Reps were friendly, helpful and professional. Crew started on time and job was finished as promised. Cost came in below estimate. Would definitely use again, especially for big jobs.

Yes, I would hire them in the future.

I judge a contractor on how he/she solves problems, and this engagement is a prime example. A few days after Plumbing Plus installed my new water main, I noticed a tiny leak. I called them back to have them send someone out to fix it, which they did. He arrived a couple of hours later, which was fine because it was such a small leak. However, things quickly turned worse when a soldered joint in the high-pressure water main came apart. The pinhole leak turned into a geyser! We quickly shut off the main, and 10 minutes later, the pipe was repaired. However, the damage to my basement was done. All my stuff had to be taken out and dried, and a bunch of books and photos were ruined. I called my insurance company, and they instructed me to call a disaster cleanup company to come and dry things out. A few days later, things were pretty much back to normal, except for the $750 bill from the cleanup company. I called Plumbing Plus to explain the situation, and they TOOK CARE OF IT. They reduced my bill by $750, the same amount I had paid the cleanup company. For handling this problem in a responsible way, they earned an "A" from me. Notes: The pros who came out were very fast, and perform quality work. They were punctual, hard working, and personable.Scheduling was excellent, and Rene actually called to ask if they could come earlier.Outdoor PEX work was superb -- I'm very confident in this product.

They did an excellent job for me. Not only did they do a great job on installing the plumbing but they did a great job with the carpentry work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

It was really good. He did forget to check the garbage disposal and when he was in his car to leave, it wasn't working. He came back in with his tools and fixed it. They came on time and I didn't have to wait. He was very clean and very knowledgable.

We have an older home & have used Plumbing Plus several times over the past year for various issues such as installing a new faucet, fixing leaks, and replacing old galvanized pipe w/ new pipe to increase water pressure to faucets. Ttheir employees are prompt & professional. They diagnose the issue & work to fix the problem doing the simple things first & working up to the more expensive, work-intensive fix, if needed. Their rates are reasonable & we'll continue to call them when we have plumbing issues.

From the first phone call through final installation was done professionally, including hardware choice. We browsed the Moen website, made the choice, and were pleased with the result.

Paul showed up in a Porsche with no tools. I needed the pipe fixed. Paul wanted to estimate it. He was just not a very nice guy. I'm glad I went with someone else.

Had a leaky intake valve on my toilet. I had the parts from Home Depot and was planning to do it myself but couldn't shut off the water at the shut-off valve. I have people coming over tomorrow and didn't have a lot of time to spend on this but needed it fixed. I am cash-poor right now so I didn't have a way to pay them either. They said they could bill me and I pay when I can (after the 1st). Eric was very quick, polite, and respectful... took off his shoes when entering my home, and did the repair pretty quickly. Since I still had time left on my "hour" I asked him to take a look at a leaky connection outside going to my swamp cooler. He fixed that too :) I will definitely call them again :)

It was a great experience. They were excellent.

I made the first call on Friday June 15th. Explained the problem and how one thing was connected to another. They had more serious situations than mine and I told him it was not life threatening, but the hot weather was in the forcast and I needed the swamp cooler before too long. They were very accommadating by letting Eric drive home a truck home since he lives half way between me and Salt Lake City. There are three problems. Two are fixed and the third will be resolved. I will be billed at the end of the job.

I called Plumbing Plus regarding a clogged shower drain. I had tried all of my usual tricks to clear the line but nothing worked. Rene worked very fast to get a plumber at my house after I mentioned that I was without a shower. She pulled someone from another job to guarantee that I would be able to use my shower the following morning. The plumber, Eric, was quite knowledgeable about the old plumbing in my home. He cleared the line which was filled with roofing debris from a new roof installation the previous week. The area was vacuumed and he was on his way. I will always use this company for my plumbing needs. Their customer service is phenomenal, and their prices are very competitive. I had called several plumbers about the same issue, some wanted to charge extra for same day service, some claimed there would a minimum charge just "evaluate" the job, some just didn't return calls. You will not have any of these problems with Plumbing Plus.

Overall, I was really impressed with Plumbing Plus' work, professionalism, and cost. I knew this would not be an inexpensive repair. I felt the cost was very appropriate. Eric was efficient and cleaned up after himself perfectly. There was not a single snag in this whole process.

Fast easy service, called to make an appointment and plumber was dispatched immediately. Price was exactly what was quoted over the phone - no surprises. Plumber was courteous and friendly and fixed the problem in short order.

I was satisfied with them. It was an old plumbing job. I didn't have any problems. It was a little pricey. They were good on punctuality.

AMAZING service!! We had water coming from the upstairs bathroom dripping through the basement ceiling. I was worried that the repair would be expensive and time consuming. Plumbing Plus has someone to my home first thing in the morning and determined that the drain and tub just needed to be re-caulked. The job was quick and the plumber so friendly that I would recommend Plumbing Plus to EVERYONE! They didn't try to sell me un-needed repairs or costly services. They were honest, fast and friendly. A++++

We needed our drains cleaned out. They came, quoted us a price and held to that price. I think that is rare to find now days. The serviceman was friendly, punctual, seemed to care, and did an excellent job, he even went above and beyond! These people are wonderful! It is so nice to know that there are people in the world that still care about their work and reputation. I would use these guys again, and again, and I highly recommend them! The lady who helped us in the office, her name is René, and the serviceman's name was Erik.

Eric was extremely fast and very knowledgeable so the actual price, including unclogging two drains that had plugged the day before (not included in the original estimate), was less than $300. We are very pleased and will definitely call this company again if we need plumbing work done.

They were fast and they came right out. They got it done right and sent me a bill.
