From our side, the service and installation went very well, although the technicians did have a bit of trouble with the install of the new furnace. The service was very professionally handled and completed on time with very little inconvenience to us. Assuming that the flu and new furnace continue to perform as they should, we would rate our experience with Manwill Plumbing as excellent.

We were very satisfied with them. Another company had serviced our furnace earlier and we thought they had taken care of the problem, but then it returned. We were not able to use the first company again because they were not available until the following week and our furnace was not working correctly. The first company was covered by our home warranty and when they were not available the home warranty company told us to call the company of our choice so we called Manwill. It took a while to diagnose the problem because it was kind of difficult to find the problem but they spent the time to diagnose it correctly. The part wasn't available until the next day so they came back the next day to finish the job and it was been working every since. I would use them again.

We acquired bids from a one other contractor and the salesperson from Manwill was very knowledgeable, positive and enthusiastic. The other contractor did not have a reasonable solution for getting intake air in for a high efficiency furnace but the Manwill sales person did. I was very impressed with the two installers that did the job. They worked hard and were very professional. They got the job done in a day even though the encounter difficulties routing the new intake and exhaust thru the existing closet. We're also very happy with the Lenox high efficiency unit we bought. The continuous speed motor is quiet and seems much more efficient. The salesperson also took care of much of the rebate submission for us. We had a very positive experience and will use them again.

We had a leak and we saw water in our furniture and we traced it to a pipe coming from our kitchen so we called Manwill and they came out and said that the pipe had cracked. They had to cut through our upstairs cabinet next to the sink in order to get to this. When I looked at the pipes it was complicated and he said that the pipes were repair made at some point. They had taken a piece of piping and put it across. He did the same thing when he fixed it. So I called them back and send pictures of it and talked to the manager. The manager said that it was not right and so he sent out another crew out the next day and they fixed it and they did not charge me for it. They should have done it right the first time but they didn't and the crew that came out thereafter were very professional As for the price I don't have anything to compare it against. I would use them in the future.

I had several bids to replace a water heater with either a tank and tankless water heater. Bill from Manwill was the most thorough in estimating what would be needed and writing up the bid. The other two plumbing companies were more interested in selling a water softener than checking the gas line coming into the house and explaining what would be involved with a tankless - venting, etc. I decided on the Bradford and White 50 gallon gas water heater to replace the Kenmore, which was installed in 1982. Manwill's bid was the lowest. (A tankless was more costly and complicated to install and maintain.) It took approximately 3 hours from start to finish. Bill also replaced to utility sink valves while the water was off. He was on time and cleaned up after. I had the first truly hot bath in years last night; I couldn't be happier.

We called Manwill because a pipe burst and we had to turn off our main water valve. Our usual plumber is a one man show and could not come in a short amount of time. Unfortunately we had to schedule Manwill to come the next morning because they were not able to come that day. Another 24 hours without water. The next morning, the plumber didn't show and when we called, we were told that we had scheduled it for the following Friday which was not possible as I was not given a date - I was told tomorrow morn. At any rate, my husband got them to come around noon after much complaining on the phone for their mix-up. Pipe was fixed and price was what I expected.

The plumber was polite, helpful, efficient, gave me some good information, did his work very quickly and professionally.

I needed to have a faucet repaired immediately, because my elderly mother was staying with us and I had no hot water. They were very prompt, and worked with me on picking up a faucet from another company, so I could have it done quicker. Very tidy and professional.

Bryan Biehler bid the job for me and he was EXCELLENT. He was so careful to make sure that the exhaust would be the proper distance from my swamp cooler and my windows. He went above and beyond the call of duty to consult the city, the gas company, and the manufacturer to be sure that the installation would be safe for my family. The bid was not the cheapest I received, but it was a fair price and I felt that Manwill was the most knowledgeable about how to do this particular job (it was complicated, as I have a 1940s house). The plumbers were professional and knowledgeable, arrived on time, and installed it quickly and efficiently. It works very well and we have no complaints and only praise for the until they chose for our home.

They were awesome. We would use him again. He was very polite, clean and didn't leave a mess. I felt very comfortable talking to him. He told me exactly what he did and he didn't charge me for labor to fix the toilet. He was very knowledgeable.

They did very good work. I referred them to somebody about a week ago. They are very good and reliable. They have been around for a long time and have been a member of the community. They are probably competitive. I would use their services in the future too.

The Manwill team (Rob was the lead technician) came out the next week and removed my furnace and A/C units and replaced them with the new Amana units. They scheduled the crane, whick quickly removed the old compressor and placed the new unit on the roof, and they had to alter the duct work and air return. Both Rob and his associate worked hard, and were very polite throughout the installation. There was a delay in the delivery of the furnace unit, so Brian drove down at the end of the day to pick up the unit for installation the next day. At the completion of the installation, Bryan went thru the check list with me, going over the new thermostat, furnace, and A/C operation. Everything checked out OK and everything was cleaned up after installation. A few days later, Bryan returned with the completed rebate and tax credit forms, and to check that everything was completed OK. Very professional company and great employees!

Manwill was excellent. It was a vast difference from Rescue Rooter who we used initially.

First of all, I was extremely happy with the work that the Manwell representatives did. They were quick and efficient, explaining what they needed to do every step of the way. I needed an outdoor faucet replaced due to winter-time damage and it was replaced quickly with a much higher quality faucet than the one I had before. I also had a garbage disposal that was severely backed up due to careless tenants. The result of their work on both these things was a quick solution to my problem. However, what really impressed my with Manwell has not been the work they've done but the work they didn't do. They are keenly aware that their prices are somewhat high and every time I've called them, they have tried to help me solve my problem by myself. When the representative came out to do the initial estimate, he tried to explain to me how I could fix the garbage disposal on my own. It was my insistence that, as long as they needed to send someone out for the busted faucet, they might as well deal with the disposal rather than taking the risk of making things worse by working on it myself. More recently, I was working on some pipes to replace a vanity and in the process of turning the hot water off the knob from the hot water heater sprung a leak. I turned off the water to the whole house to stop the leak and called Manwell to come out and fix the problem. They told me that they could come out, but their weekend rates were pretty high. They then suggested three simple things for me to try to fix the leak, explaining exactly why this kind of leak usually happens. The first thing they suggested was a 3 minute fix that I was able to perform myself, effectively saving me well over $200 that they could have pocketed if they had simply come out as I initially asked them to do. Yes, their prices are high. But they do everything within their power to make sure that you only pay for things that are beyond your skill set. Thank you so much, Manwell.

Very well. After helping us figure out our pluming problem, Clayton form Manwill came over took out our old heat/air and then installed our new one. A lot of work had to be done and Clayton's team did a great job. Thanks!

I was dissatisfied with my previous service supplier and used Angies List to find a new one. This company had so many positive reports that I thought I would give them a try. I called for an appointment and was offered an appointment the following day by a very pleasant and professional receptionist. The service technician arrived within the designated timeframe the following day. He was pleasant, professional, and clean, and obviously knew exactly what he was doing. He was able to diagnose the problem with one of our furnaces and fix it quickly. He did a great service on the furnaces and also provided us information on how we could get more efficiency from our furnaces and what it would cost to do that. At my request, he expained the contract that the company is willing to sign with homeowners for the regular service of their furnaces and air conditioning units. I was really happy with the service provided. I will definitely use this company from now on. Well done, Manwill!

After 4 service calls from mid-June to mid-August, Manwill's servicemen were not able to fix the problem. I gave up on them and used another plumber, who was able to fix the problem in one service call.

I thought the experience was top notch from the first phone call to the last goodbye. These people are polite, conscientious and efficient.

I'm very glad I chose Manwill Heating to replace my furnaces. The estimator (Brian) was punctual, professional and stayed on the project until all issues were fully resolved. The furnace installation/replacement was expertly done and the installers were courteous and knowledgable. They completed all work as agreed and even offered to make additional repairs if I wasn't completely happy. I'd use Manwill again in a minute and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the services and products they offer. Furnace replacement is a big investiment and I'm glad I went with Manwill. They came through when it mattered.

Came on time, finished on time, everything worked

Since it is hot, they had calls backed up from the week end and scheduled me for Wednesday. A serviceman was available on Tuesday, a day earlier, and called to see if the time was convenient (it was.) He checked the air conditioner, which seemed to be fine. As soon as he removed the bottom panel of the furnace he discovered the problem -- the one tab for the bottom panel and the corresponding tab on the furnace did not connect, making the bottom panel stick out just enough that the blower switch would not function. He bent the tabs back into proper position and verified the switch was fine. It took about 15 minutes.

AC quit working on a Sunday. After a 'hot' night of little sleep, I called Monday morning, hoping a repairman could come the same day. They were too booked up but did fit me in Tuesday afternoon. The repairman was punctual, friendly, and helpful. He had the necessary part in his truck and got the repair done quickly. Additionally, he checked my furnace which I appreciated. Living on a small disability income I also appreciated the Angie's List discount. Have used Manwill before and will use again.

This is a fabulous company!!!! I am SO glad that I chose Manwill to install my new furnace and air conditioner. The sales rep that I worked with, Bryan, had been an installer previousy and was VERY knowledgable about furnaces and air conditioners. He took a lot of time with me and answered my questions. The crew that came out, and Jesse and Luke, were phenomenol. Jesse worked so hard and was so polite. I could tell that he's a perfectionist!!!! When you're spending this kind of money that is a GOOD thing. He did an amazing job on my ductwork. He was the one who realized that I was going to need another return air vent so that my furnace fan could function properly with my a/c unit. He worked closely with Bryan and since this was not in the original estimate they put the new return in for FREE!!! I can't say enough about this company. In fact, I recommended them to my neighbor who is also in the market for a new a/c unit. Call them... you won't regret it!!!

The company sent out an estimator to give an estimate of cost. Once we approved the estimate, we scheduled an installation date a week out and the installers came on time. They were very professional and worked diligently to complete the job. Once completed, the installers, spent time going over the functions of the filter and how to complete periodic maintenance. These guys were great to work with.

Sales person was very good; very good knowledge of products and procedures, polite, returned phone calls quickly, came back to answer more questions. Negotiated with us on price (other companies did, too). Installation available very quickly; installers on time, personable, obviously experienced, had all the materials they needed, stayed later at the house until the job was finished, very clean. We had one minor issue that they returned the next day to fix. We have used Manwill before for plumbing and found them very good.
