Manwill Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

I've been doing most of the work my self but wanted to make sure the plumbing was done correctly so I would not have to worry about leaks. My experience with Manwill could not have gone better. I called on a Friday and scheduled an appointment for the following Tuesday morning. Each time I've used Manwill they have always had availability to come and work at a time that works for me. Ben (I believe that was his name) called me about 20 minutes before the scheduled time to confirm and he arrived right on time. Ben got right to work installing my faucet after getting the faucet installed he hooked up my the water lines to my dishwasher and fridge. He test them all and made sure they worked correctly. As an added bonus Ben was able to adjust my dishwasher. The dishwasher was a little low and did not line up with my cabinets and because it was low there was a large gap at the top between the counter and dishwasher. It did not look right so Ben raised it up so it was aligned with the cabinets and now looks great. I was very happy with the work performed.

Manwill kept in touch with me as well as the tenant, were very professional (wore shoe covers, put down plastic to protect the carpet, etc.), completed the work on time and as promised, kept to the estimate, and were wonderful to work with. We were extremely pleased.

They actually followed up on another company who had installed our original air conditioner. We had actually purchased a protection plan for a period of time. They came in and fixed everything with no problems. Everything has been working well.

UPDATE - I spoke with Mr. Manwill a few days after submitting my review (it's been a while, I just hadn't gotten around to updating my review). He understood my concern with the pricing and sent me a refund check for a portion of my payment. He explained why the pricing was the way it was and made every effort to correct that. I really appreciate his time and willingness to work with me. I highly recommend Manwill.

They were thorough. It took them some time to get it done, but then they ran into a lot of technical issues that they had to deal with. Their follow through was good too. They were expensive, but I was satisfied with their work. They have done some more additional warranty work on the job since then, and they have been pretty quick to respond. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

The serviceman came out the next day after our call. He was on time and very professional. We got a quote to replace the fan, but it turns out when the order was called it it was a higher price in the catalog. They honored the first price quoted even though it was $50 less. They came out promptly when the fan was shipped in. No waiting--they arrived when they said they would. Overall, a positive experience.

Bill came over and fixed a leaky toilet and advised on what could be the issues with my pipes that were making a funny humming sound. He check the water pressure and his reading indicated that everything was fine. He thought it could possibly be the toilet that was leaking that was making the pipes sound. I haven't had the sound since he fixed the toilet. Bill was professional and answered my questions and concerns and gave me possible courses of action to take. Everything with Manwill was professional from the initial phone call to the cleanup after the plumbing service was performed. Will definitely call again in the future.

Katie was our salesperson, she came out and gave us the original quote. She was friendly and responded to my calls and emails in a timely fashion. Jesse and Drew did our install, and they were friendly and professional. They took the time to walk me through the options of where to locate the unit and answered all of my questions. I wasn't home while they did the work, but it they did a great job of cleaning up. I came home and my house was as clean as when I left it and the new unit was keeping my house cool. I was comfortable leaving these guys alone at my house with a spare key to lock up afterwards. I didn't rate the price because I didn't get any other quotes, so I can't say for sure how competitive they are. At any rate, these guys did a great job and I would definitely use them again.

We needed a pressure regulator replaced, it was making a high pitched squeal whenever water was run in the house. Manwill gave me an estimate of $250, and we set up a time that was convenient for me. The plumber arrived exactly on time, performed the repair, and came in under their estimate. The sound is gone now and we were happy with the work performed.

They did a wonderful job. Very attentive to any concerns I had. At one point I suggested that I probably needed a new furnace since one of my furnaces was 30 years old and after examining the furnace they told me it was in fine condition and did not need to be replaced. Ten years ago another company told me the furnace needed to be replaced. Manwill could have so easily sold me a furnace and their honesty sealed the deal in terms of my using them again.

The two-person team called me about 20 minutes before they arrived to inform me that they were on their way, and to expect them on time. They arrived on time and promptly set to work in a brisk and efficient manner. Their grooming was excellent, and they were careful not to leave any trace of water, etc. in either bathroom. They finished the job in under one hour. Their professionalism and integrity was outstanding. I thought the pricing (119 labor, 22.50 parts) was extremely fair -- the best $142 I've spent in a long time. I like the fact that Manwill usually sends a team. It makes me less nervous as a woman to have two or three partners working in my home as a team, as opposed to being alone in my home with one person. I heartily recommend this company to all my friends.

my system failed and needed new HVAC prior tot he hot July 4th weekedn with guests coming over. Located Manwill on Angies list and called them becuase they had i ratings. Sales came over promply, gave good pricing for an excellent system. Installed on June 30 and everone had a comfortable July 4th weekend. :)

We had four different quotes from highly rated local companies. Manwill was very competitive on price and took the time to talk about where the AC units would be installed and how the wiring would look on the back of our house. They were respectful with the many kids wandering around and cleaned up any mess they (the workers, not the kids) made. They worked hard and got the job done in a timely manner. They educated me on the systems and took the time to break down the costs at the close of the job. I'm very pleased with the whole process and haven't felt this comfortable with a company or in my house (now that we have AC) in a while. I wouldn't hesitate to have Manwill back for more work in the future.

They were very punctual and completed the work in a short time. Workmanship was excellent and materials used were excellent. The plumber was friendly and helpful and made some recommendations on other plumbing related tasks I was going to tackle myself. Very favorable experience.

They are prompt and they provide good prices. I have never had a problem with them. They have been very good to work with. Their technicians are very professional and friendly. They are a very responsible company.

I called Monday afternoon to schedule a technician to come out and figure out why my A/C wasn't running. They offered to have someone out on Tuesday afternoon but we settled on Wednesday morning to better fit my schedule. Bill called when he was on his way to my house and arrived right at 9am. I explained the problem and told him I'd replaced my thermostat over the winter. He checked that first and right away noticed the missing jumper; so much for my DIY efforts. Ten minutes later, the wiring was fixed and the A/C running. He checked the furnace filter and coolant in the A/C unit and was done. Fast, efficient, professional, and polite; I am very happy with the service I received.

Everything went well. They said it would take 2 days, but it only took one day, so that was nice. Jesse was very friendly and put at ease right from the start. Katy who gave us the estimate was really friendly and knew what she was talking about.

Responsive, fair price, no issues with the installation. Job well done.

I was really pleased with them. I would recommend them. The workers were good. They were courteous and had good workmanship.

I was very impressed with the installation. Brian and Roman removed the old unit and took it away. When they performed work inside my house they laid down drop cloths to cover my carpeting and cleaned up any messes that they made during the installation. Because they used existing ducts and the refrigerant line, they tested the refrigerant levels before and after to make sure there weren't any leaks.

Even though Jeremy initially repaired the heat exchanger unit by replacing the start capacitor, he removed it because I mentioned I was interested in getting a more efficient unit. For the call I was charged $49. I felt Jeremy tried everything he could to save me money. He mentioned that the start capacitor is a common part that needs to be replaced if the fan or compressor does not start. When he tested the fan and saw that the fan motor was faulty, he mentioned that was not normal and that I was only one step away from having to replace the heat exchanging unit altogether. (The only other thing to replace after the fan motor would be the compressor.)

This is the second time we've had Manwill out to our house to fix a small plumbing problem. Just like last time, they arrived promptly and were professional and courteous. The slow leak under our kitchen sink turned out to involve two different joinings so they fixed them and we have been leak-free ever since. Their prices are not super-bargain-basement but I think they are fair.

They provided the water heater, took the old one out, put the new one in, and cut some PVC pipes to do the replacement. They were very thorough and the folks were very professional. They explain everything before they do it and they are very clean. They are very quick to respond which is important when you are talking about broken water heaters and air conditioners. They aren?t the cheapest but they are worth it.

One morning, our furnace won't turn on any more. I called on a Saturday around 11:00 and was told that someone will call back about an appointment. They called back within an hour and a technician, Jeremy, came in 20 minutes. He identified the problem which was fuse and gas valve. But also pointed out that our furnace is 11 years old and poorly installed. He said we can pay $400 to replace the gas valve, but it could break down again any time so it could be waste of money. And it's still kind of cold but end of winter. He gave us options to think about. At the end, we've decided to look into replacing the furnace in near future as we plan to install an Air Conditioner which we don't have. He replaced the fuse which may let it work for now if we need to and only charged us for the emergency service call. Also he gave us a name of their sales person who would do free estimate if we are interested. He was friendly, honest and very helpful. We will definitely call Manwill when we shop around for a new furnace in near future.

I called Manwill and a technician was there within 3 hours and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. Great service.
