Manwill Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

It seemed that the job was thorough. Our heaters (we have 2 in the house) both worked well thereafter. The tech that came was off putting in two ways: he made a pretty big deal of complaining about one of our heaters being in the attic (so that's where it is - I didn't put it there to inconvenience him!), and also spent an excessive amount of time criticizing the work of the person who had previously tuned our heater (from another company). Doesn't do me any good. Just do the job and curtail the editorial commentary.

It did not go well at all because I cancelled.

Our home is for sale and we wanted to make sure everything is working well so their are no surprises when an offer is made. Money well spent.

The two men that came out were slow and very unprofessional. They took off for an hour and a half for what they said was their lunch time. They ended up taking 8 hours to get to a half point way as far as the job went. They cracked my new shower head and that had to be replaced. They argued and lied about doing it. The old man was very disrespectful. I ended up kicking both of them out of my house and I hired another company to repair and finish the job.

I called Manwill along with two other companies and they gave me a bid, I compared the three and they were all close. I decided a liked working with Manwill and gave them the business. I am glad, everything works well and are happy with the new furnace.

We called and spoke with Katy. She gave us a rough breakdown of services, price ranges, and time required to do the install. She then came out for a free on-site estimate. She was prompt and great to work with. She gave us a range of options and recommended what would work best for our situation. It happened to be the bottom of the price scale! Matt and Anthony came out the very next morning to do the install. They were prompt and very professional. The two of them worked well together and even fixed some items to bring them up to code. We are very happy with the new furnace and the service Manwill provided. We absolutely recommend them.

We used Manwill because of the service we had with our new furnace and a/c. We have been looking for a good plumber and have finally found someone that is professional and who knows how to do plumbing. We will be calling Jaren back out replace more old valves. Thanks

Manwill was our third bid. We did our research on BBB and Angie?s list and was not lead astray. What sold us was Katie! She was very knowledgeable, patient, and informative. . She gave us different options and worked with us on different variations of furnaces and a/c units. The installers did a great job. They were quick, clean, efficient, and answered all questions respectively and clearly. The bid was right in line with the other bids we got.

They were able to do the work the same week as the estimate, arriving on time, and completing the project in a timely matter. Very pleased with the work.

sI am also a member of the Jeremy fan club. Jeremy is very good and very professional. He knows what is doing and he get the job done right. Even if it is a simple job like cleaning an HVAC system, he takes his time and does everything right.

Manwill came out the morning after the damage occurred. They took pictures,which they were sending to Lennox, and advised me on what to do until the repairs were made. They then contacted Lennox for a quote on replacement parts. The parts were quite expensive, but Manwill worked with me and reduced the cost by several hundred dollars. They ordered the parts and their technician came to my house to disassemble the heat pumps and replace the parts. He was very professional and skilled. The work was done quickly and the heat pumps were back to operating condition. Thanks to Manwill the disaster wasn't such a big deal to get corrected and they made major repairs for a very, very reasonable cost. I use Manwill for all my HVAC and plumbing needs and would NEVER use anyone else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Get a second opinion if you think the equipment might still be under warranty.

The whole process went very well. Apparently the furnace we were having trouble with is a newer one (2004) and had possibly not been serviced since installation! Shame on us but we have only been here for a couple of years, however, I will make sure we get regular services from now on. Whilst Jeremy was here I asked him to take a look and service the upstairs furnace which he did willingly; that one is the original (1990) so is probably going to give us some problems in the not too distant future. It was cleaned and serviced and is running well. Jeremy was very courteous, he gave me information pertinent to the system and was able to answer my questions with patience. I appreciate that. This is the second time I have used Manwill, they are excellent to work with and do not take advantage. I called a plumber a couple of weeks ago and Manwill were unable to fix my problem but gave me the name of a company that could. I was not charged for the call out.

I did my review on Angie's List and decided I wanted to use Manwell Heating and Air. We were extremely pleased with all the work performed from their timely arrival to the cleanup when they were finished. We originally had only the humidifier installation scheduled for this day. We asked the technicians questions about our existing heating situation which was not providing the level of comfort needed for our basement. The technicians recommended an additional air return vent. The technician called their office and was able to schedule the installation the same day. This was great for us as we did not have to schedule another appointment and tie up another day. Our technicians were Mark and Diego. They were wonderful - very thorough, knowledgeable, professional and patient with our questions. We will use Manwell for all our heating, air, plumbing and fireplace needs now. If I could give them an A+ rating, I would because it is certainly well deserved!

I found Manwill Heating on Angies List and the reviews were so positive that I called them for an estimate on installing a new furnace because mine had quit working and could not be repaired. I decided to go with a 98% high efficiency Lennox furnace. I had had a Lennox furnace and A/C in the past and they last a long time. I paid a lot of money and quite frankly I didn't have time to comparison shop. We were without heat for four days and needed to get the job done. The sale pitch said this furnace would provide a more even heat. My main concern was my kitchen which always feels cold. The installers seemed to do a good job. The furnace is very quiet, you don't even know it's on, but my house feels colder than before and the kitchen especially feels colder rather than warmer. I will have to keep the heat turned up higher which will negate the savings in a higher efficiency furnace. I am interested to see what my next heating bill adds up to. If I were to do it all over again I probably would get the 80% efficiency furnace and save over $2000 on the cost. The installers also said I needed a new A/C because mine was rusting out. I called Manwill and asked if there was any discount if I purchased both the furnace and A/C from them. The salesman said he would get back with me,but it's been two weeks and I haven't heard from him. I will shop around before getting the A/C installed.

They did an overall excellent job. Manwill was not the least expensive game in town, but both the products and the installations were first-rate. We asked for a quotation for two furnaces--one upstairs in the attic and one in the basement. The options were well explained, we were shown multiple price levels for equipment and the various advantages of each explained. Based on the explanations, we chose two different furnaces-- one type for upstairs and a different one downstairs, and we are very happy with both. They have been operating now for over two months and we can actually feel the difference--the temperature is more even and actually, the temperature settings can be lower and still be equally comfortable. The efficiency is remarkable--we shall see what the gas bill says, over time. The Installers arrived on time both times, they were neat in their work (for some external reasons, they had to do two separate installations), and they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. The installers represented their company well. Based on our experience, I would not hesitate to use Manwill again, all other factors being equal.

Great service - quick and easy solution to the problem.

From freezing back to my nice cozy home, they made it about as quick and painless as it could be, and gave me some great information I can use in the future.

They were called Saturday evening, made and kept appt. for Sunday. Trouble shot the problem and repaired it on Monday. Another company had given an estimate for about $200 more for the same repair.

Called and received prompt courteous service and a next day appointment as this was not an emergency. Received a call from the owner the morning of the appointment to verify and give an arrival time. Team of 2 showed up on time. They showed ID, were polite, professional, and put protectors over their shoes before even stepping inside! Problem was taken care of promptly, efficiently and cheerfully.

Prompt full estimate cost exactly what they estimated, though in the estimate they did not include the needed vent to roof, when they realized it would be required they made good immediately with no change in cost. All at a price 25% less than another company's estimate for a 90% efficient furnace.

I left 3 messages on 12/26/2012 requesting assistance with a frozen bury hydrant. This hydrant is critical to watering my horses in a pasture that is difficult to haul water to from the house. Because of the holiday I have waited 48 hours before posting my disapointment. My messages included leaving a voicemail message with the plumber, Brian, on his voicemail system. I also left a message with the receptionist and was told he was on the phone with a customer and the second time with a customer. I do not recommend Manwill services. It is not a good business practice to not return customer's phone calls, even if the answer is we can not help you with your situation. I do understand limited staffing during the holidays and I feel that waiting 48 hours is reasonable given the circumstances.

We were very pleased. The sales person we worked with was very knowlegable and advised us on a number of areas when we asked him to (and he did not advise us with the most expensive options even though he easily could have and we probalby would have believed him). He was very able to reach on the phone, and flexible with our schedule. The price was slightly higher than the other bid we received but we thought it was worth it to get a better brand product and a knowlegable team. When the technicians arrived they were very hard working and professional. I had confidence the products were installed effectively. The work took two days and when they were finished they showed me how to use and care for the new furnaces and air purification systems, and explained how the warranties worked. I'm sure we'll be using Manwill for all of our heating/AC needs from now on.
