Manwill Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

Manwill technician, Bill DeVaney came to house as scheduled. There was a meeting at work that was going to cause him to be late by about 15 minutes. He called us to let us know. He arrived and went right to work. Hooked up the humidifier, checked the filter, hooked up the water tube to the humidifier. While he was in the crawl space, he noticed that there was a light bulb that was out. Replaced the bulb for us......we lived here for 18 years and did not even know about that light. It is a much better light source that the other two lights that we were using. We will use them again.

Called and asked for a competitive bid on a new furnace. They came the next day. Katy spent time asking me what I wanted a bid on, not what she wanted to sell. She spent time understanding why I asked for the quote, and what my decision process would be. She knew her product, and was able to complete the bid process and provide a written estimate in about 30-45 min. After a little research, I called her and asked to schedule an installation for me. She didn't ask for 50% or any funny terms - just full payment upon completion. Installation couldn't be scheduled for a few days. But, they showed up when they said they would. Found a few challenges during installation, but they took care of them and addressed them all. They did not nickel-n-dime me on the back end with additional charges. Great service, communication and installation. I have found a new Plumber / Heater / AC provider!

My furnace had stopped working over the weekend. I called Manwill first thing on a Monday morning, and they had someone in the area who was able to come by late morning. He was able to immediately diagnose and fix the problem on the spot. He was very efficient, and we have had no issue since.

The technician (Monte) provided excellent service. He tuned-up our furnace to prepare it for winter. After he was done, he went over what was done and the numbers on the tests that he did. He was very professional and we will continue to use Manwill.

The agent was awesome! Friendly and punctual. The only thing was my error, I didn't know it was just the fuze that had been turned off so really all he did was flip my switch. Still charged me $50, but I understand it's for the time of the agent to come to my home. I just feel they really didn't do anything. In the future, If I knew something major needed to be done I would make sure I had a firm quote before hand. Overall I was satisfied and would reccomend them.

We have a faulty kitchen spray accessory (boo Franke - that accessory is only two years old) and a water purifier in need of filter changes. The plumber wasn't able to repair the problems but at least he diagnosed them and put me on the track to getting them fixed. Prompt, nice and smart.

I had already spent over $1.200.00 for 3 other service calls with other companies, and the house cooled each time for about a day. Finally called Manwill and they had someone out in a reasonable amount of time and they reviewed all the invoices from the previous suppliers and then went to work to diagnose on their own. They quickly had a diagnosis and had the repair parts on hand and so a team of installers came within a few hours and installed a the new coils and I have been fine since then. After three weeks of cool air, off and on plus receiving all kinds of advice on solutions that MIGHT work. Manwill came on site and investigated, determined the solution and fixed my problem. So from now on they will be my first call and not my 4th.

Our air conditioner had stopped working and it was on a weekend. The repair man said he'd fixed it but told us to not turn it back on until the following morning so it had a chance to cool down. Next day it sounded like a jet engine and called another company to check it out and they said Manwill had wired it wrong and used the wrong part. Manwill did refund us the extra $50 weekend charge and 3 days later fixed it properly.

It was great. I got an estimate in the morning and had the plumbers come by and replace that water heater that afternoon. They showed up on time. The job cost less than the estimate. They also made sure that my dog didn't run out of the yard. It was an all around great experience.

I called for service because my air conditioner died on 8/8/2013. They told me that they could have somebody out the next day for emergency service after 5:00pm. I thought that was great because otherwise I would've had to wait till Monday the 12th. Martin got there right on time. However, the air conditioner motor for my unit was not available and it would need to be ordered. So, over the weekend I didn't have air conditioning. I was told that they would be there in the Monday morning to get it fixed, so I took off work thinking that everything would be done in the morning. Maybe I misunderstood them but nobody came by till 2:00 pm. That was o.k. too, but I just needed to know so that I could make arrangements with work. They could've kept me a little better advised about when the work was being done. When Martin got to my house he went right to work on replacing the air conditioner motor and it took him maybe an hour. He was really fast and the air conditioner works great now. Over all it was a good experience.

Bill gave us a timeframe for his arrival and called to let us know he was on his way. He efficiently and promptly diagnosed the problem with an AC unit that was not working. The motor had to be replaced, and he immediately put in an order to have it shipped overnight from St. George and came back the next morning and had it in and working great. We also had a leaky faucet for which he referred us to another individual within the company who came out a few days later and replaced the faucet. We were very happy with the prompt and friendly service provided and would definitely use them again. In fact, we have referred them to another family member who also has some plumbing needs.

The installer was great about communicating and showing up within the time he communicated (a big deal for me). He found the problems and fixed the ac quickly. He had to order a valve, which he called every day to give a status on while it was being shipped. Then installed it right when it arrived. Good experience overall.

There was several issues with the installation and getting rebates from state and federal programs but each issue was handled in a responsive and professional manner and in the end, I could not have been happier with Manwill. I chose this company because of Angies List and I can now say to those that are comparing other companies for installation or service of either a/c or heating, that there is a reason this company has won Angie List recognition and service awards. I will continue to be a customer for all future needs in the products and services they provide.

The installation went very well. We had two wonderful installers, Russ and Dave, who were well groomed and professional. They protected my new carpet with tarps, were very careful with walls and furniture. After the installation, they went over all the details of our new products, especially programming the new WiFi Thermostat. That same afternoon, we received a call from the Owner, Jim Manwill, to ask if the job was completed to our satisfaction and if our expectations were met. Manwell did a first class job. This has been a great experience.....I would highly recommend Manwill to anyone !

They were on time. They were clean. They did it within the price that they promised. They did the things more professionally than someone had to come out and give you the bid.

After inspecting our AC on both the outside and inside, Bill determined we needed not only a new AC, but a new furnace as both systems are 20 years old. He promptly called Manwill and set up an appointment to have Katy come to our home and give us the details about the new products. Katy arrived within the hour and was very thorough, well prepared and knowledgeable. These two representatives from Manwill were very responsive to our needs and were able to arrange the installation of both within 2 days. It's been a pleasure working with Manwill. I"ll write a review regarding how the instillation goes.

Bill was great. He was here on time, told me what the problem was and how he proposed to fix it, then quickly fixed it. The cost was minimal and he was happy to accept the $10 coupon I had from Angie's List.

Our air conditioner unexpectedly quit on us--we purchased our condo a year ago and don't know the full history of the heating/cooling so we had no idea what to expect. I emailed them in the evening. My daughter was getting her wisdom teeth out so her comfort was a concern for me. Brian Jackson wrote me back promptly as soon as business opened. I had, however, been so nervous about getting an appointment I called as well. I was disappointed I would need to wait 24 hours, but understood. When I received Brian's email, he offered to send a technician out later in the day. What relief! Martin arrived when Manwill had promised he would. He was professional, friendly and quickly identified our problem. He explained the service call follow-up policy should the problem not be resolved to our satisfaction. He was great about answering my questions and taught me about my heating and cooling unit, helping me prevent problems in the future. Additionally, I felt safe having Martin around, an important factor since my college-aged daughter usually lives alone in the unit. I was very satisfied with Manwill's service and personal attention. I will go to them first for a bid to replace our heating and cooling unit when the time comes. I will also use them for tune-ups and routine maintenance in the future.

The technician spent a lot of time investigating what could have been causing the problem I called for. When he found out it was related to an issue on the roof he was very honest about the fact that he could fix it but that if I wanted it done in the most effective manner I needed to have a professional roofer do the job. I will definitely use them again and I would refer others to them. Thank you for a job well done!

System was extremely low on refrigerant, we both wondered if it had even been charged properly as part of the new construction 8 years ago, as it has never worked well. The technician EJ did a great job, gave some excellent pointers and took care of everything. We he left the system was working great! Thanks EJ, Thanks Manwill!
