Excellent job overall. Very prompt on estimate. All individuals involved were professional and pleasant to work with. The job was started on schedule and completed in a timely manner.

Once I got the quote, I never heard back from Fullerton Exteriors despite several phone calls and emails.

Was very prompt in calling back and came on time for a free estimate for a repair to solve leak into garage.

The roof looks great, but what I really liked about them was that they went above and beyond. My soffits (sp?) were not quite right, and Fortress came up with a solution that worked terrifically without requiring me to replace any of them. They also painted all the pipes on my roof to match, and in general took care to addressed any strange drainage or asthetic issues related to the roof. The other company I got an estimate from seemed much more rigid about what they were interested in doing, and it was difficult to even bring up questions. Fortress was great and I felt like I got much more than just new shingles.

Very professional with the estimate. Left a folder containing copies of license and insurance, didn't even have to ask for that, along with pamphlets and books containing information and colors of different brands of shingles. We had three other bids non of which provided all this info. Work was started promptly, no set date as we had to wait for a break in the weather, but the first available good week-end they were out there. We had one day when we came home to a yard with tar paper and old shingles in the yard and in some of the bushes next to the house, but the very next morning, early, the owner of the company came to my door and apologized greatly for the mess, told me that it would not happen again, and had a crew of people there to clean up the mess even though it was bad weather that day. I hadn't even made a call to complain about it. I was very impressed with his professionalism. There was no further mess in my yard, in-fact it was left very clean at the end of each day they worked on it. Both the roofing job and the replacement of the gutters were done very quickly. I was very impressed with the work done on both. The job site supervisor for my job came out to my house a few days after the work was completed and asked me if I had any questions or concerns, not just a phone call. I was very impressed with that also. I called back after the snow had melted away a month or so later and they promptly responded to cleaned up all the small debris that they could not see when the snow was still on the ground.

Rob and Pete and the boys did a great job on my roof, and had nasty evil time with my gutters, through no fault of their own (my original roof line was a mess and they had to follow it). After a VERY RAINY spring I was noticing a leaking corner and, during heavy downpours, huge amounts coming over the tops of the gutters onto my porch. Rob and Pete came out NUMEROUS times, during storms and during dry times, to see where the problems were. It's all fixed now, no extra charge from them. I also want to point out, for those who are also doing insulation with their roofing project, that my heating bill has gone down MORE THAN 40%. I am on an annual plan that recaculates every six months - it just recalculated after the full job was done by Rob - and it's $42 per month lower. The other benefit I've noticed after all this work is that, unlike prior to the new roof/insulation, my AIR CONDITIONING also works faster and the house stays cooler longer. It's all good.

Excellent. Rob Fullerton and crew were prompt, professional and great to work with. Ryan Peterson, the project manager, was on site daily for quality control and installation supervision. Crew worked very hard during cold, snowy weather.

Went extremely well-- the crew was VERY polite and explained in detail what was going to take place during the installation. They were very flexible and made adjustments to the work plan as I added new little side projects. Very good clean up. Overall a great experience that renewed my trust in contractors.

These guys were very professional. Rob explained the process to me in detail and listed everything he would do in his proposal. Everything was done to code using the best quality materials. He even included proper attic ventilation.My house is over 2000 sq.ft. + the garage roof. The job was completed in 3 days. The clean-up was immaculate. Rob returned all my calls promptly and dropped by regularly to check on the progress. I mentioned a leak in one of my windows that I had attempted to seal several times unsuccessfully. Rob got out his caulk gun and figured out the source of the leak and stopped it. I received bids from three other contractors. Rob's was the middle bid. None of the other bidders struck me with the professional attitude that Rob did. I also wanted to hire someone who has lived here a long time and that I could expect to be in business here in the years to come. Finally, as an Angie's List member he discounted $449 from the roof job and $319 from the rain gutter job. I would highly recommend Fullerton Exteriors to anyone interested in an excellent roofing experience.

I planned to have them do the work, but I needed to wait until I have some more money. I old them this, and told them I would get back to them in the not too distant future. Two months later, when I could afford the project, I contacted them again. It took longer to hear back from them with each call. Rob told me that he would have to measure again, and that he would send someone out. He said that he could do the work the following week, or in the beginning of the week after that. When I hadn't heard anything more by the middle of the second week, I called and left a message telling him that since I couldn't be given a firm date for the work to be done, I no longer wanted them to do the work. I never received a call back after that. I'm not sure why the professionalism disappeared once I was ready to go ahead with the project, but I knew that it was a sign not to use this company.

This company is a great example of how a contractor should perform. From initial bid to final clean-up after the job was completed, we were tatally satisfied.

It was slow getting started due to the rainy spring weather but once they began it was completed in 2 days. There were minor mishaps, but the owner called and informed me of them. Also, they paid for the replacement of the broken light fixture. They are an extremely "hands on" owner company with very respectful and congenial employees. They are very clean and efficient.

I will use this company again and again(if I need a new roof or gutters ever again). Rob Fullerton, the owner, answers the phone. He is the one who comes out to give the bid. He is very personable, and answered all of my questions, ridiculous or not. He has been very communicative about start dates and what affects his schedule(therefore my new roof). I appreciate the communication from him. I appreciate his attention to detail. I think this is a person(and therefore company)that understands the value of the customer, and how significant good customer service is to longevity. I recommend Rob Fullerton and his company without reservation.

It went perfectly. They came when they said they would. They finished when they said they would. The time on the job (3 days) couldn't have been easier on us. Each night, they took pride in leaving our home totally clean from trash and rubbish (except on the roof which was under repair, of course). My driveway was as clean during construction as it was before construction. We are very clean people, Fullerton Exteriors took what could have been a messy job and made it very clean. We were very, very happy with this aspect particularly.

Overall, I was very happy. I will use their services in the future.

Their service was very good. They were accurate about the time and they showed up when they said they would. They finished the job within the time frame.

The roof was a fairly easy job, not really any issues that came up they weren't prepared for (prepared because of how much work they put into making sure they knew what it was all going to be like before they showed up). The fascia was another story, because the OLD stuff from the 1950s (along with the soffit) was not really well done, and so they really had to 'work around' it. It took longer than they had anticipated, but they did it with good humor and no additional cost to us. The gutters went on pretty smoothly after that, along with downspouts. Rob was very excited to do the black gutters, as it's not a popular choice (everyone goes with some shade of white), but it looks fabulous. A job very well done.

They started the roofing as soon as the new shingles arrived at distributor. The workers were polite and courteous about not blocking access while they were working. They cleaned up all materials and nails. After completion of the roofing, they did an inspection before payment was made. All our concerns were quickly alleviated. The company is very concerned about meeting customer satisfaction.

Excellent. Was not THE low bid, but was the low bid among contractors I deemed competent. I did not trust any of the lower bidders. When I asked questions which Rob easily answered, the lower bidders did not seem to know what I was talking about, which is to say, they did not seem to really know what they were doing.

Called and left a message with the owner about my needs. He called back 3 days later. Told me he was fairly busy but would come by and measure everything up and get back to me. That was 2 weeks ago and have not heard a word.

They gave me copies of all of their licenses and insurance certificates at the time of the estimate. I checked out all of their licenses and insurance first and everything was in order. Over half of the people we spoke to who SAID they were licensed and insured actually were NOT. They were extremely professional compared to other jobs I have seen in the neighborhood. They promised "immaculate clean up" on the work order and they did it. They worked fast and efficient and kept us informed as to the progress every step of the way. If it were not for the beautiful roof you could not tell they were even there and the price was exactly what they promised.

The job started a few weeks after we hired Rob, and all went exactly as he led us to expect. All work is exceptionally well-done, and Rob didn't leave the jobsite until I was completely satisfied with all work - including things like removing fingerprints from the fascia. Since I telecommute, I was really here for the whole job, so I have a good sense of what he and his crew are like, and they are hard-working and very good at what they do. It's a dirty, messy job no matter how you go about it, and these guys didn't leave any trash around, neither nails nor McDonald's bags, they cleaned up every day before they left, and paid very good attention to keeping my gate closed so my dogs couldn't get out. It's hard to ask for more. Oh, and the roof looks FABULOUS. Rob, Pete, Carlos, Chris and the boys are welcome to work on my house any time.

The job was big and complex: a nearly 5000 square foot roof, steep pitch and complete tear off and replacement. I spent several weeks getting bids from 6 roofing contractors. In addition, I checked with roofing suppliers for their recommendations and checked out references and previous jobs. I found Fullerton through two cross- checks, first Angie's List, and second by asking a knowledgeable supplier who he would have roof his mother's home. Rob arrived on time for the bid and spent 30 minutes going over the proposal. We have extensive landscaping around our home and he volunteered the need to protect the plants. I was impressed that he knew the names of the plants and obviously was concerned about how to minimize any damage. He worked with us to select the roofing material and brought 6 samples out to our home and placed them on 2 locations on the roof so we could see the shingles in different lighting conditions. I dreaded selecting the shingles and he was very patient as we went through the process. He and his crew arrived on the scheduled date and began the tear off. Tear off took one day longer than planned and there was no damage to the plantings. They cleaned up each afternoon and ran a magnet over the lawn to pick up loose nails and other metal. Then, Chris swept the porches, walks and driveway. The job was better than broom clean each evening. Also, Rob Fullerton is a roofer who works on the job too! The application of the ice shield and synthetic barrier went down next, and each nail from the previous roof was driven flush prior to putting on the sheet material. Ice shield went on two courses for total coverage of 6 feet rather than the 3 called for in other bids and by code. They uncovered several short cuts done on the previous roof and put in the fill and covered gaps in the areas where the decking joined adjacent pitch. Shingling went slowly and steadily. Because of the pitch, the crew worked from toe boards. I was most interested in a quality job, straight rows and squared valleys. So, we were in no rush to have the material slapped on. Here, Pete was a perfectionist. He did a terrific job on a complex, 8 sided hip and ridge, trued the rows on several pitches that started from zero and matched the rows across the dormers. Also, an area begun by another roofer (who subsequently left the company) was torn off and started from scratch because it did not meet their standards. Each day I talked with Rob or Pete about the progress, what to expect next and any other issues, like choices made to finish particular junction points. Their communication was excellent, to me, this was extremely important. Rob, Pete and Chris obviously take a great deal of personal pride in their work and it shows.

I hired Fullerton Roofing because my neighbor recommended them, and I couldn't be happier! The owner sat down with me to go over their qualifications, licensing and estimate in a more thorough manner than any contractor I've ever met. He explained that they can keep costs low because they don't spend money on marketing and are strictly a referral business. And, their estimate really did reflect that. I had bids from other roofers for twice as much. The closest bid to their's was $2,500 more and the guy told me that they didn't know whether it would exceed that because they wouldn't know how many layers of shingles I had until they got into the job. Whoa! Red flag. Fullerton Roofing said without a doubt we only had one layer of shingles they would need to remove, and stuck exactly to their estimate! They were responsive to all my questions and phone calls. They arrived when they said they would each day and finished when they said they would. They were also really clean and made sure to clean up my yard immediately after they had had taken off the existing shingles to make sure with special equipment that they picked up all the nails on the ground. They did this before proceeding with installing the new shingles which made it possible for my kids to continue playing in the yard. I was so pleased with Fullerton's outstanding service that I referred them immediately to another neighbor who has hired them. It's sad to say that I rarely feel comfortable referring contractors because I'm never really that pleased. But, without equivocation I would refer Fullerton Roofing to anyone and everyone! Great work! Clean cut crew! I am beyond pleased with my new roof and gutters!

I contacted Rob Fullerton for a bid on a new roof for my parents. He arrived as promised and on time. He inspected the roof thoroughly, wrote up his bid and then explained the bid in detail what the job might entail and all options out there for us in determining as to just what extent we wanted to go with this replacement. His presentation was outstanding and he left us pamphlets explaining all a person would need to know about the types of roofs and how to choose a good roofing company. At this point I have to say I had dealt with 3 other roofing companies and none of them had done any more than to just walk around on the roof, give us a bid and leave us with their number if we were interested. The fact Fullerton Roofing goes to that extent to make sure his customers have a complete understanding of Rob Fullerton himself and his company showed me this was a company that takes pride in their work and wanted our business. The first thing they did was put protection around my parents home (tarps and plywood) as to not cause any damage to the property or even their flower s. The crew removed all the old and at all times Rob kept us informed as to how the job was going and their finding under the aged roof that had been leaking for years. He explained options in replacing bad plywood and costs involved. We opted to go with new plywood and do the job right. The multiple roofs and patch jobs were removed, new plywood installed and the roof was completely waterproofed before the day ended. Fullerton Roofing takes such pride that clean up is done daily nothing is left lying around on the ground. Day two the roof is on and the roofers had done a fantastic job. The house looked fantastic. Day three - the fascia, soffit and rain gutter replacement was done. They did a fantastic job and along with the roof it added so much to the appearance of the home. I am so thankful Fullerton Roofing Co was hired for this multi-task job the companies professionalism in all aspects is outstanding. His work and warranty speaks for itself. His task in keeping the job site clean daily and the extra effort taken to insure no damage to any property showed us what kind of company we were working with. Rob Fullerton lived up to everything he promised. He started the job on date promised and he had the job completed in the time frame promised. I would highly recommend Fullerton Roofing Company not only for roofing needs but for the fascia, soffit and rain gutter work he and his company were so professional in completing.
