When our mother passed away, we were left with having to sell the home she had lived in. Two of the three of us live far away, and are not able to attend to details easily. We spent time last summer to interview several real estate agents. David came recommended on Angies List so we included him in our list of candidates. There were several things that we liked about David, including his knowledge of the area. His straight-forward approach to fees was refreshing. He came off as earnest and truthful. As we engaged with him, he helped us prepare the home for sale, and then when we were ready, he worked closely with us to create the listing. Although we had the home listed during "off" months, we did have several viewings. He had an interesting approach to pricing that was a little different for some of us to deal with, but targeted for a quicker sale. I think that over all, we had a good experience. I would use David again.

Dave was great. He helped us find an awesome house that we love. He didn't try and push us into a house that we didn't like. We probably saw about twenty houses with him before we chose. I would use him again. I feel that he was honest and really tried to help us. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy in the Salt Lake area.

Dave has been very patient with me as a buyer. I had a few periods where I thought I wanted to buy and then changed my mind. After the second round of looking at properties I moved out of state. I lived up in WY for 1.5 years and got a job offer back in SLC. I decided I wanted to move back here into my own home and not rent. I gave Dave a call and he started looking for me. He emailed me properties he thought I would be interested in. A few times I got excited about some of the listings and he went out to the property and did a video tour for me and commented on the pros and cons of each. He was very honest with me about each house and made sure I saw the house as a whole. I never once felt pressured to put an offer in on a house the was not right for me. I made 2 trips down to look at properties. We looked at a short sale that I fell in love with and both of us agreed it was the house for me. I put an offer in on the short sale. Dave told me we needed to continue looking as if there was no offer on the table related to the fact that short sales can be very long and complicated. We did continue to look and Dave continued to follow up with the Realtor and bank for the short sale. After 3 months of waiting the bank accepted my offer. I have called Dave with a few issues/questions since moving into the house and he has been very prompt at getting back to me if he did not know the answer or gets me in contact with the correct people. He is even going to throw me a house warming party but I am putting it off till I get some more work done.

David Kevitch was my realtor for my first home purchase. He took me around to see houses in Salt Lake for a few months until we found something I loved, I had some flexibility in the purchase date so he wanted to get started to get a feel for things. He has a very good knowledge of the market and was able to tell if the asking price was right or overpriced and why. He was also able to give advice on things I should be looking for, and warning signs for things to watch out for. Overall, the searching process was very easy and Dave makes it very clear that there is no pressure involved and wanted to make sure I was happy and found the perfect house. When I found the house I wanted, we decided to offer. Dave was able to call the other realtor and feel out the activity on the house, he felt we were able to offer a little less, we did and they accepted. I know this saved us thousands on the purchase price, and it is attributed to having a good realtor with experience. Someone else would have offered more to be safe, but he knew we didn't need to to get it. The rest of the process went smooth, Dave set up the home inspection, recommended a few lenders, and also ran comparables for the area to make sure we were getting a good price, as we had two weeks to decide. The home inspection came back with a few minor things and Dave was able to negotiate some money off of my closing costs. I am very happy in my new home and am pleased everything was as easy as it turned out to be. Throughout this whole process, Dave was very responsive, easy to contact, on time, and was able to answer all of my questions. I plan to use him the next time I need to, and I recommend him to friends and family.

After interviewing three realtors, my husband and I chose to work with David Kevitch and he exceeded our expectations while helping us buy our first home. We were very picky and on a budget, but David happily showed us over 40 houses until we found a home that we loved within our price range. David provided us with invaluable, unbiased advice from his 20 years of experience that assisted us in making difficult decisions. In fact, we were under contract for THREE HOUSES before purchasing our home. After making an offer on the first home, we unexpectedly had to fly back east due to a family emergency. While we attended our nephew’s funeral in West Virginia, David made sure that things were moving forward with the house under contract AND continued to look for other houses he thought we might like in our absence. When the first two houses we were under contract with didn’t work out, David remained positive throughout each ordeal and demonstrated immense patience and kindness. David accommodated day of, last minute appointments when houses popped up on the market to ensure that we were in the right place at the right time. He always had our best interest in mind during negotiations. David was NOT looking to make a quick sale, but rather took his job as our advocate with utmost sincerity. He is a man that truly loves his job and thrives off of making people happy in their homes!

We met David as the selling agent on a different home and he was VERY persistent in being our buying agent calling me every week with updates or houses we might be interested. I did find it a bit too much, but his persistence paid off as when we needed an agent for the short sale, that's who we contacted as he seemed very up on the market and knew what we were looking for. We had started the offer paperwork with the selling agent but there was a conflict of interest as she was selling the home for a family member so we wanted someone on our side (even though the bank was calling all the shots). It was a long process with back and forth paperwork and David handled all the necessary items. He did make a couple mistakes, one with the 2nd offer we made and we caught another mistake (which could have been a bit of trouble) with our paperwork. The other agents were with-holding info or making mistakes too so it's hard to know who caused the problems, they all seemed to point fingers. David definitely learned some things about short sales as he didn't even know we could counter-offer with the bank on final price (the selling agent told us that) so we saved $5k without David. Overall, David was OK, he didn't knock my socks off with his knowledge but he was persistent, professional and got the job done. We don't have a real high regard for the realtor industry in general so David had some big shoes to fill and I think did OK. Not excellent, but fair.

David listed our home with MLS in early January 2012. He recommended an appropriate selling price. We started having vrewings by potential buyers. We started slowly lowering our price, due to real estate doldrums. Dave told us upfront that would be the best strategy, lower your price until you have several walkthrus per week. We sold our home within 11 weeks after having listed with David, which was after we had our home on the market with another agent for 6 months with no offers; Dave is very easy to work with. He shares a fact sheet each week with us that shows the results of the previous weeks viewings. He believes in ongoing communication. We would highly recommend him to others who want to sell their home.quickly and efficiently. He represented us well and saved us one and half percent of our selling price!

David Kevitch is an outstanding realtor. Thru out our marriage we have had 6 different realtors to buy/sell 6 different homes in 3 different states. From our experience David is one of the best. I contacted him 3 weeks before our 5 day trip to Salt Lake City. We made plans to look at houses. In the meantime he e mailed me listings of houses that were for sale that met our criteria. When we arrived in Salt Lake City David and I spent one day looking at houses while my husband skied. Then the three of us spent one day looking at the ones I liked from the first visit and additional ones. We decided on a house, wrote an offer and then went back to New Jersey. David handled the entire purchase. He negotiated the purchase contract, the inspection, the repairs from the inspection, the bank appraisal and the closing. Unfortunately, the bank I chose delayed the closing, I should have let David handle that too. And even tho we found the house of our dreams quickly, David made it very clear he would spend as much time as we needed, even if it meant cross country. He is also a wealth of information about Salt Lake City because he was born and raised there. I truly enjoyed our house hunting adventures. He is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely a nice person.

He is very knowledgeable and dependable. He provides excellent customer service. He did not charge me anything for his service. I would use him again in the future.

Our experience was wonderful. He was prepared to represent us in a new home purchase and worked hard for us. David was helpful and professional at all times.

Overall everything with dave went excellent! Dave was very helpful and took A LOT of time to help me. He spent over a year helping me find the perfect house. Not only did he help me find the house but he helped me make sure I got it and for a good price. He was always patient and very knowledgeable about buying a house. He educated me on things to look for in a house and things to avoid. I would highly recommend Dave to anyone and everyone. He knows real estate and has many connections in the area (ie home inspectors, loan officers, etc). Overall he is a great resource and realtor! I would use him again!

My overall experience was fantastic. Dave spent many weekends over about a 3 month period showing me homes all day that he had spent the time and effort to filter down so that all of them met the criteria for what I was looking for in a home. As a first time buyer, I'm sure it was frustrating at times for Dave as I myself was unsure about many of the homes we looked at, but Dave never lost his enthusiasm to make sure he found the right home for me. After almost three months, he showed me a home that I instantly loved, and Dave did everything possible to make sure he secured that home for me. Even when it looked as if the homeowner was going to "walk" on the sale, Dave spent many hours on the phone back and forth with the homeowner and their real estate agent to lock in the sale. Even after he locked in the sale in for me, he also went above and beyond afterwards to make sure I was happy and comfortable with everything. From helping me secure a home inspector, as well as a loan officer, Dave made sure I was taken care of throughout the whole process.

A friend recommended Dave as a realtor, I called him and left a message. Within days we were on the hunt for a new home. 100s of listings later Dave found what I was looking for and helped the deal through to the end.

Dave did a fabulous job with our home search. He was very thorough with each property we looked at. From looking at the roof to checking out the hot water heater. He was very upfront with properties that were/were not worth the asking price. His experience and expertise led us to the home of our dreams (no really it did!) We would recommend Dave to anyone searching for their BIG investment. He is a no pressure no hassle agent that really looks out for his client. Dave went above and beyond from day one through closing to well after our sale was finalized. He was always looking out for our best interest.

When we first enquired about the home, another party was also interested. David was able to council us and get us in a position that we needed to be in to get the home. There were many issues with the home that needed to be addressed and David helped us negotiate the price so that we felt we could both afford the home and also the needed repairs. I know that we wouldn't have been successful without him.

When I moved to Utah in 1998, I didn't know a soul. Someone from the company I had hired with recommended David, and it couldn't have worked out better. For that initial purchase, I was staying in temporary housing and time was of the essence. David went above and beyond to show houses around my schedule. We found one, and made it to closing in less than a month. I stayed in that house for about 7 years, but when I started to outgrow it, I again called on David. It took over a year of looking, but as properties came up that might work, David would send them my way and if it made sense, we would have a look. As a buyer's agent, when you're looking at a house with David, he will do more to talk you OUT of buying a house than he will to try to sell you IN to a house. I really appreciated this "full disclosure" approach. You always know exactly what you will be getting into, and it helps ensure that you'll wind up happy. Eventually we found a home (that I still love). David helped craft an offer that was accepted quickly. But this left me with a rather large, and potentially expensive, problem -- two houses. Fortunately, David worked just as h****** the other end of things. Naturally, I listed my house with him. Some marketing, an open house, and three weeks later, I had a full price offer (and a back up offer). Problem solved. Thank you David. Obviously, I have no problem recommending David to anyone needing a realtor. I've had friends list with him, search for houses with him, etc. And they've come away happy. I'm currently looking forward to sending my wife's son's new family David's way when they're ready to buy.

David Kevitch is a top notch Real Estate agent. I have worked with him on many successful purchases and sales and have referred him a number of clients, family and friends. David always treats my clients with the highest level of care available in the business. I would recommend him to anyone that needs to buy or sell a home. He is as low pressure, high knowledge of a Real Estate Agent as you will find.

David was thorough, knowledgable, calm and very easy to work with. I felt very secure and informed through the process every time. He made what can be a stressfull event very smooth and easy.
