Description of Work: I re-possessed my house from renters and the carpet looked ravaged and destroyed. We had tried to clean the carpet with our own carpet cleaner with little luck in getting the stains out of the carpet. We were positive we would have to replace the carpet!! But then we called Clean Green as a last ditch effort prior to shellling out $$$ for carpet in a house we were just going to turn-around and sell. Clean Green was able to spot treat all the carpet, AND make it look like new again!! Definitely know their stuff. Originally quoted just the main room, but ended up having them do the entire house - main floor and basement!

Description of Work: Overall the carpet cleaning went okay. The cleaner was punctual and fast. We had our 3700 square foot house cleaned, top to bottom. Price was okay, but it gets really pricey when you have them clean your stairs. We have 2 sets of stairs so this added quite a bit onto the price we'd already paid through Angie's List. We had the carpets cleaned in December and because of the cold air we couldn't leave the windows open all day. The carpets were VERY wet in a few of the rooms (wetter than I'd expect, and wetter than they were in other rooms). The carpet also loosened up quite a bit and bubbled up all over the place. I called Clean Green and they assured me that if I waited until the carpet was dry it would probably go back down. |We waited and waited and eventually the carpet settled when it finally dried. Unfortunately, it took so long for the carpet to dry even with fans going (almost 72 hours!! in the wetter rooms) that my sons' room developed a gross mildew/mold smell. I called Clean Green about this when the smell didn't go away after almost a month, but they never returned that phone call. I was afraid we were going to have to replace the carpet in that room, but thankfully, before we did any demo work, I sprayed the carpet with vinegar and dusted heavily with baking soda (both great at killing mold). My kids' room smelled like vinegar for the next month, but another month later with no smell I'm hopeful that I killed whatever was growing from the overwatering of our carpets.

Description of Work: I actually had them come out before Christmas and clean most of the carpet in the house plus apply stain protection to all high traffic areas (LV, DR, FR, hallways, stairs, landing, master bath). Their 1st tech was here over 3 hours and there were what looked like dirty water stains in the hallway and an area in my bathroom was very dirty where it looked like all the dirt was pushed up in a V against the tub (carpeted master bath). Our dog occasionally "happy pees" when people visit and this did occur about a month after the cleaning. It should have beaded up (in an area where I paid for stain protection), but it did not, it soaked in. Also, we had company come into the LV with some mud on his shoes. I let it dry and then vacuumed it, but again, it did not come up as it should have if it had been treated properly with stain protection. So I complained and had them come back out. The 2nd tech was very nice and tried to be helpful; however, he explained their policy was they would only treat areas where he could see issues. He did clean more than that for me, but no new stain protection was applied. I paid an additional $120 to have a small family room in the basement cleaned (1st time for that area) since he was here and for a recommended pet treatment in the upstairs FR (again, an area where there should have been stain protection). Not sure I would use them again.

Description of Work: 3 rooms, 12 stairs, 2 area rugs. Left a lot of residue on my hard wood floors. Carpets didn't feel clean but I had waited too long to clean my carpets. They came back and re-did my master bedroom.
