Hi there, We needed a stump removed at a rental. This company returned calls quickly, showed up on time, communicated clearly and respectfully re: options and price. Id recommend this company for stump removal.

The work went very well and on schedule. The crew was very professional and polite.

Everything was great. The only thing that might have been a problem was that they told us that the trimmers would be here between 12:30 - 1:30 and they arrived at 8:00 a.m. which was fine but would not have been if we had not been home. did a great job, and cleaned up immaculately. very friendly and professional

The workers were very thorough and did a great job with the pruning, tree removal and the stump removal. Everyone was friendly and willing to answer lots of my questions and explain the whole process. Candy, in the office, was wonderful.

I received four estimates for the work. The estimate provided by Atlas Tree Service was not the least expensive, nor was it the most expensive. I was very impressed after meeting with their arborist to go over the work. He had many good suggestions and was very knowledgable. After reviewing their website, I was sold. Theirs was the only one advertising certified arborists and it was clear that they take safety seriously. During the coarse of the work, we discovered two unhealthy trees that were promptly removed. The sprinkler system received some damage, which is understandable given the nature of the work and the fact that it was not installed properly. A sprinkler specialist repaired the damaged sprinkler heads and lines. Throughout the operation, I was very impressed by the professionalism of their coordinator, Kandice. She is the gold standard for good customer service. I also had a chance to interact with crew leaders and found them to be very polite and professional.

Atlas Tree Service sent an arborist (Mike) to give me an estimate on trimming the dead branches off our maple tree. He gave helpful suggestions on what should be done. The climber and two workers came about a week later. They were fast and cleaned up after they were done. We built a new home two years ago, and this tree took a beating from all the equipment and changes to the landscape. The climber was helpful in telling us what to do to help this tree grow.

They were great. They were easy to get a hold of. I thought the pricing was very competitive. The guy was very professional and knew a lot of different trees an maintenance and gave us good suggestions on what needed to be done. More likely, we'll be going with them.

My husband made an appt with Atlas on a Wednesday morning at 9. We called their office around 9:30 am when no one had shown up. There response was underwhelming to say the least. The person who answed the phone seemed unapologetic and unprofessional, she told us she would call back when she had some answers. At 10:00am an hour after the appt she finally called back and informed us there was a " tree emergency" and we would have to reschedule, again very unapologetic. I understand conflicts can arise, but the way this was handled was very unprofessional.

I called Atlas, based on Angie's list recommendations to get a bid to take out a very large tree. Received bid by email. Went to call to schedule the service and noticed bid did not include taking out the stump of the tree. Called and was told that they would only cut the tree to the top of the chain link fence because the tree had grown into the fence and "we don't do fences." I bought some nippers and cut the tree free from the fence in 10 minutes. Really! They couldn't have done that? Got a bid $750 cheaper from someone else, including taking out the stump. Quick response but very unhelpful. Did not use their service.

They were great to work with. I learned a lot from the initial visit from the certified arborist. The team who came to do the work had great equipment, followed safety rules and did a great job. They had problems with scheduling the root grinding because of staffing but when the sorted it out the person did a great job. I would recommend Atlas to people in the future.

They came out and removed 1 large tree stump for me and they did an absolutely fantastic job, they were great. I will say though that getting a hold of them is very difficult at times. I was almost ready to call someone else when they did finally return my call. I am so glad they called back. After the job was complete they cleaned up every bit of mess including the grass and mulched the stump for me. If I need any services they offer in the future they will be the first ones I call. Right after they left I was so impressed that I called him to let them know.

I made an appointment for an estimate and the person on the phone was very easy to work with. The estimator arrived right on time and took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted. He looked closely at my globe willow that had been damaged by the heavy snow storm, and made suggestions on what would be good for the tree. He scheduled a time for the work to be done. The people who came to work on the removal and repair were also right on time. They did a great job of taking the tree out, trimming the other pine tree and fixing the damage done to my globe willow. They cleaned up after themselves and asked if there was anything else they could do for me. Very nice people.

The estimator was very knowledgeable and gave us good information about our trees. He actually made some recommendations that resulted in less work for them. The team that did the work were very good. They took the time necessary to do the job correctly. They also stayed on the job over the 2 to 3 days it took to complete. I will use them again in the spring.

It was cold and had recently snowed. The Russian olive has spikes on its branches. Neither of these obstacles seemed to bother Atlas. They came and did a good job of getting the very high branches trimmed back. I had bird feeders in the trees around this operation and the company removed these, but did not return them to their posts. They took away all the refuse as well as the downed tree.

Overall, it was a positive experience. They honestly admitted that some of the trees needed to be cut and are not treatable.

They came when scheduled, performed the work, cleaned up, and the price was per aquote. They did a good job and I will use them on a regular basis.

Atlas Tree Service visited for a free evaluation during the second week of July. We came up with the money to cover their quote in September and they honored their original quote without issue. They arrived promptly for their appointment and took their time with the service to ensure it was done properly. Their clean up of the trimmings was A-MAZING. We did not have any work to do once they left the property. I received a quote from a friend who provides this service in another area and his pricing matched ATLAS almost exactly, so I know they are fair. We were thrilled with the service we received from ATLAS Tree Service

Everyone from Atlas were highly professional from start to finish. Received a timely bid for the project which included an excellent description of what was needed and why. Received confirmation calls from their office to review the work agreed to. Received confirmation calls a couple of days before the work was to be done and then on the morning they were to arrive -"We're 15 minutes out" which was 15 minutes before they said they would be their. Crew on site were friendly, professional, asked questions as needed to clarify what was wanted, and knew what they were doing. Work was completed on time and at a very high quality, including the clean up. Most important, I would and will use them again!!

Atlas immediately returned the call we made requesting an estimate. They showed up when they said they would, took the time to look at all the trees on the property (alot of them), and provided an assessment of what would best benefit the trees. Mike also recommended a schedule for each of the services that would be best for the trees. The estimate was detailed, and he explained each item of the recommendations/schedule. We scheduled work to be accomplished. Atlas crews showed up on time, were very professional, friendly and informative. They also cleaned up everything, something we have not experienced in the past with other tree service providers. Overall they were excellent! We will definitely use them again and will recommend them to others..

They came out both times to give us estimates, then showed up when they said they would. They skillfully answered all of my questions. They did a beautiful job pruning the Hawthorn and pear trees. The trees were definitely not butchered - Atlas knows what they're doing. Their prices are reasonable. We will continue to use and recommend them.

Atlas did exactly what they promised, and delivered above expectations. They were 100% on time and the job took exactly as long as they said it would. Atlas even cleaned up at no extra cost some shrubbery that Rocky Mountain Power had cut down and left behind the gate in our back yard. The workers were polite, skilled and professional, and they did a thorough cleanup. I couldn't have asked for a better group or company to work on my trees, which now look so much better!

I think they are the only Atlas Tree service in Salt Lake City. They were very good. I would recommend them to others.

They came out promptly and gave a bid and later did the work. The only complaint we had was that the date we originally were told was changed and someone in the office claimed to have called though there was no record of the call or message on our phone.
