They missed their first appt, but made a follow up call to reschedule for the next day. Showed up early, fast and efficient in their work. Could have done without the radio playing as loud as it was, but whatever makes them work as fast as they did!

They're fabulous. They've been out to my house a few times and they're Johnny on the spot. If I need something, they're right with it. They come out and if it's an emergency, they'll come out that night. They're wonderful.

The roof work went well but they didn't complete the gutter and another gutter was too short . They also didn't protect my stairs and stucco which got damaged and soiled. They were great about taking care of all the errors. They were a pleasure to deal with even though it was a pain to fix everything .

They worked all day Monday through Friday for a couple of weeks to get the project done. They were professional and courteous, good about letting me know when something needed to be done that would change the cost BEFORE they did it, and responsive.

We did not use them due to false advertising.

They were prompt, worked hard every day, were efficient, cleaned up after themselves, were done very quickly. They were also very nice! We couldn't be more pleased.

All in all, it went well. There were some communication issues up front with the estimator as regards engaging the homeowner to find out specifically what the homeowner wanted done. However, the latter had prepared a written list that was given to this estimator so this was a non-issue. The only other outstanding issue was a re-do of a short section of gutter that obviously was tilted in the wrong direction. This being said, the quality of materials and workmanship was outstanding. Installation occurred during a rainy time of the summer and care was taken to protect the house during the job. The overall job exceeded the estimated two weeks but weather was the culprit here. I am very pleased with the final result and would not hesitate to recommend Aspen Roofing.

They did a very thourough job, even working on some areas I didn't ask them to address. I felt they went beyond the scope of work I asked them to perform.

They did an incredible job. I cannot say enough about them. Their workers were like impeccable and the workmanship was excellent. We have a huge roof with dormers. It is a bunch of different angles and little windows that stick out of the roof with more roofing. So, it is a very complex roof. It was around $30,000 but worth every penny. When they took off the old roof which we built the house, there were a lot of issues and they corrected all of them. They stuck to their bid. They anticipated problems from their bid. They were on time. They always came early and worked till late until they got it done. The workers were pleasant. They were very nice to have around your home. I felt very lucky. We built our house. We had a lot of people out doing things for twenty-five years, and they are one of the top-notch companies that I have worked with. I went through Angie’s List to find them. I read through every one of the like hundred and twenty registered. So, I think very highly of them. They were not the cheapest, but they were not the most expensive. My feeling is they were worth every penny. Anytime I call, they got right back. The workers would climb that hot roof and answer question when I had questions.

They came promptly to do the inspection and give us a quote. They began the work as scheduled and kept us informed about the progress as the work was done. When completed, everything was cleaned up. The bill amount was the same as the quote. We would use them again.

My house is over 100 years old and still had the original roof plus three layers of shingles. It was not leaking or in need to immediate repair, so I took my time in looking at various roofers and doing my homework. I got five bids and ultimately went with Aspen Roofing because the owner, Jon, was helpful in answering all of my questions up front and the bid was competitive. I also chose to go with Aspen Roofing for gutter installation because this lowered the overall price of the roof plus gutters. There were some problems up front with setting everything up. I had to request to have the bid sent over multiple times so I could set up an appointment. The actual project went two weeks over schedule (it was a large job) despite my request to have this finished in the allotted time frame due to my travel outside of the country after that time. (They finished the job while I was in Haiti). However, I had read the reviews on Angie's list where several people had had similar problems, so I was aware up front what some of the problems may be, and I was willing to deal with this due to the positive reviews on the actual work. If I were to do it again, I would still hire Aspen Roofing, but I would not have them install my gutters, I would plan on more time than quoted, and I would be very diligent about making sure the work crew cleaned up after themselves, and prep the property myself before they started. Pros: - The roof looks really nice - The owner has been responsive to fixing problems (see below) - the price was competitive Cons: - The gutters have had major problems. After they were installed, they have leaked on at least four occasions. Jon was always quick to send someone out to fix the problem, but each time the problem occurred at the same gutter joints. Finally, several months ago someone finally came out and replaced several sections of gutters. Also, one of the downspouts was installed crooked. This was fixed upon my request. - The crew was not very careful with my property. There were nails left all over the property including the driveway, after the roof was completed and the work was done. I actually had a visitor pop their tire after driving over the driveway the day after they finished. I also still finding pieces of shingles in my yard. I also completed a new patio last summer and rather than lay down a tarp or protective covering over the patio for the rip off, the crew did nothing. As a result there are several stains on my patio.

Very responsive, did things right, did not related issues,for no additional money.

Overall, I was actually quite pleased with the job they did. They had to go into the neighbor because it's a shared house and it took a while to get going. In the end, I'm very happy. I was very pleased with them. I think they were really good, assuming they finish the job. The roof looks good. I was frustrated at some point because I thought it was going to be done last October or November but not it's just getting finished but that's not really their fault because there was just issues with the neighbors.

Very prompt on quote. I may use them.

I will most likely use this group again when I need to replace my roof based on my initial experience with the company and from the ratings they have received. I am sure that my experience was all a 'one off/timing/ thing, but I did have a rather different experience with them. I received a phone call from Mr. Brady on Monday afternoon 3/24 at 11:00 AM. We set an appointment for the crew to begin work in the morning on Tuesday 3/25. Since I have shingles that were left over from the construction of my home and planned to use those, Mr. Brady informed me to make sure they were placed outside so that the crew could access them. He stated that when they arrived they would ring the bell to let us know they were there, complete the work and then let us know when the work had been completed. I informed Mr. Brady that my husband sleeps late into the morning, so depending on how early they were, if they ring the bell and he does not answer that it is okay to just begin. He made a note to the crew of this information. To my surprise, my husband called me 3 hours later to ask why I had not informed him that they would be there that day. My husband has a broken foot and cannot lift the shingles that we were to use, so I hurried home to help get everything situated for the repair crew. When I arrived home 10 minutes later, one of the crew men was picking up the shingles from the garage and I asked him what had happened to the original appointment time, as I was not expecting them until the following day. The crewman stated only that 'They changed my schedule', and began to climb the ladder to the roof. My husband stated to me that he was alerted to their presence when he heard footsteps on the roof and our dogs barking at the noise. When he looked out of the window he noticed the work truck and a few of the crew walking from the truck with supplies. This is when he called me. They were very quiet, other than the footsteps on the roof, which is expected, but then they got really quiet about 40 minutes after I arrived home. After about 5 minutes of silence I walked out and found that they had left, with no evidence that they had even been there. It has rained since they were here and I did not get any water inside of my home so I am sure that they repaired the leak, however, that is really the only thing I am sure of. The whole visit was just different than I had expected: they showed up a day earlier than I had planned so I was not prepared for them with the materials that I had available. They did not notify my husband of their arrival, nor did they notify us of their completion or departure. I have not had previous experience with roofing companies before, so I am not positive that my experience was anything but ordinary, however, I had expected that after they were finished that I would receive some sort of verification that the work had been done, maybe by the workmen pointing out to me where the work had been done and the changes made to the venting and/or tacking down of any lose shingles. At this point, I do know that the leak was fixed but since I am afraid of heights, and my husband with his broken foot are not able to climb a ladder to look and make sure that everything was done, I can only assume that the venting was actually changed out and that any lose shingles had in fact been tacked down. I also had payment ready and waiting for them, to pay when they were finished, but since they just left, I will now need to mail the payment into their office. I will need to replace my roof in a few years, and I will consider this company again. As mentioned above, I am sure this was a one off sort of thing as the reviews of the company do not indicate that this is a normal occurrence. The staff that I did deal with were very friendly and helpful.

The installers were great to work with. They even installed a rain chain I bought separately. It took a little while to get everything done because of weather conditions, but the results were more than satisfactory.

It went really smooth.. No problems with price, workers nothing.. I did call two other roofing companies from Angie's list. I made appointment yet to see them.

They initially told us it would take three days, but there were some delays due to inclement weather. After receiving two quotes, their knowledge and expertise seemed like the best fit. Ultimately, they did a great job and we are pleased with the results.

Aspen roofing is one of your tough guys. It went very well. No problems. I like their cleanliness. I didn’t have any mess. They were good people.

It looks great and I believe it will hold up well; we did need them to come back and seal the gutters by the back door, as they were dripping and forming ice by the back door.|The men who did the work were careful to clean up the big mess that so many ancient shingles will make, and I appreciated that. Once they got started it was a fairly quick process, weather permitting - they finished 12/31/13.|I would have given Aspen an "A" but their scheduling was off by a month and a half. Originally they were to start the second week of November. We had our old insulation pulled out the first week of November in anticipation of the job, so our house wasn't insulated for that extra time. This is frustrating for the customer, so I hope they are able to get their times of service a little closer to what they estimate.

Ryan Brady is the vice president of the company and the one who gave me the bids. He is very professional and explained everything in detail. The work they did was excellent and Ryan always took my calls as I had questions. It was great working with him especially after working with the contractor who put on my roof incorrectly. I would highly recommend this company. There is no sales pitch just honest guys that do great work.

I had received an estimate from Aspen earlier in the summer for this project. After making my decision a call to Ryan set the up an approximate instillation date. About a week later he advised me that he and and a crew of one would be there the next day and the instillation would take about 4 hours. They showed up exactly when he said they would. After a quick introduction to the installer they were on the roof with the tools and supplies. The gutters were cleaned and the instillation completed in about six hours. The installer had some tricky power lines and cable lines to work around. He came down and discussed them with me to make sure I agreed on the solutions. I have dark colored gutters and they even brought along two cans of spray paint to touch up some areas to make sure everything looked perfect from the street. They even touched up some exhaust vents on my roof for a great look. The installer showed me a piece of the gutter cover that was about 16 inches long that he had left over as they had estimated it so precisely. He left the piece with me along with the remaining spray paint. Ryan came buy a few weeks after the instillation and climbed on my roof to double check everything for me. I am very satisfied with this company.

The receptionist was kind and very professional. She remembered my online query and stated that I should have received an email response. She continued on to indicate that they were busy and scheduled out for at least a month. I asked if she would leave me on their list for later service. She said that she would. I have not heard back, but will update this review once (or if) I use their services.

On Oct 11 Ash came out and looked at the job I needed done. He said he would email me a quote. On October 21 I called the office and said I had not received the quote and wondered if that could be sent to me. The gentleman i spoke to said I had not been put into the system and he would check on it. As of Oct 30 I have not heard back with any info. Very poor service. What the company reported was not quite as it was. I contacted them several times and i did not every receive an estimate until I gave them a bad review on Angie's list.. Sorry to say my first impression of this company still stands. Don't make your customer look bad to make yourself look better.
