They never called me back.

Although this company had done a repair to the roof in June of this year, the next storm that came through took of more of the old shingles and we decided that it was time to replace the shingles and have the new ones installed properly. The men who worked on the roof for the week were truly great - professional, polite, hardworking. They let me know each night before they left when they would be arriving in the morning and were prompt the next day. Robb stopped by during the project to make sure any questions I had were answered and was available throughout. Upon finishing the project, I was asked to go outside and everything was explained to me by one of the men, while the other was sweeping up the driveway, front porch and walkway. They treated my yard as if it were their own.. Would definitely recommend them to anyone, whether for a repair or a full replacement.

I obtained three bids and found this company to be extremely competitive. I was actually going to use Brady roofing (also excellent) but when Aspen called me they said they would match Brady's price (Brady's estimate was about $200 lower then Aspen's). They set a start date with me, but it rained that day, so we had to push it off to the next day. The project manager met with me to pick out shingle colors and was very knowledgeable about what color would go best with my house. The project itself was done in three days. It took them slightly longer than they expected but it looks fantastic. They did a pretty good job with the clean up as well.

The company was responsive with an estimator meeting me within 24 hours. The bid was thorough, detailed and easily understood. The estimator was knowledgeable and provided options for the most cost effective approach to a quality roof. The roofers arrived when expected and completed the job within the time frame discussed. The area was cleaned up of all debris from the roof tear down and included putting back all items that were relocated from near the house.

Ryan came out and gave a computerized bid on the spot. We thought we would need to have the entire roof replaced, but he said that was not necessary and would be a waste of money. Work was begun within the week. The two workers were extremely polite, pleasant and very neat, cleaning up as they went along. We have had high winds and rainstorms since the roof was repaired and all the places where we had had leaks in the past are dry as dry can be.

Mr Brady was very prompt in scheduling a visit to give me an estimate. He was very personable and professional. He showed me how my fascia had only two nails per panel (one every 5 feet), which is why they had blown off in the wind. He also checked on my attic insulation to see if I needed any more and if I might qualify for a rebate from the power and gas companies. I didn't need any more insulation, so he put me on the schedule for fascia replacement. I was planning on a 2-3 week wait to have the work done, since this was a small job. But they were able to fit me in just a few days later. The workers arrived promptly and replaced the fascia but then they left without checking in with me first. I went out and noticed that they hadn't reinforced the remaining fascia like they were supposed to. I called Aspen Roofing, and the scheduler was able to contact the workers and get them back to finish the job within the hour. I asked them to reinforce all the fascia, and they did so. Apparently there had been some miscommunication with the workers. The scheduler called me later to make sure I was satisfied with the job, which I really appreciated.

Roof removal went well with all garbage removed and cleanup done. Gutter removal was timed so that painting of trim area could be done by another contractor. Roof and gutter replacement went well and was completed in a timely manner.

These folks are great. VERY tidy, didn't trample the garden, neighbors loved them. On time, worked everyday. Roofers didn't smoke, so no cigarette butts in the gutter. Can't ask for more.

At the very least I needed repair to the flashing around the chimney because water was running underneath the paint on 1 wall of my kitchen. i called Aspen Roofing because they are neighbors, although I did not know Ryan personally. He promptly gave me a bid, even arrived early for the inspection and bid. During the estimation process, he took pictures of my shingles and flashing to show me the work that needed to be done. The crew worked for 2 days and finished the job. The 2 men who worked at my home were friendly and courteous. It was a good experience and I would use this company again.

I have had the great opportunity to work with Aspen Roofing this past year. I need to replace a roof of 20 plus years, in which the home was 60 years old. Aspen had to pull off three layers of shingles. The matter in which the work was handled was excellent. The work crew was always on time and worked late into the evening to get the job done. The clean up after was impeccable. Jon the owner came by the job everyday to check that things wer going well and to make sure there were no hissues. I bid out the job to ten different roofing comkpanies and Aspen was the most detailed in their bid as well as the best price. I would highly recommend Aspen Roofing to andyone that needs a new roof, or repairs on an existing one or rain gutters. A GREAT company to deal with!

We received an estimate and within a week the crew came to do the work. They were lightning fast and had us taken care of before lunch in half a day. Can't have had a more positive experience. The installers noticed a leak which I plan to have them come back and fix soon. Aspen Roofing installed these gutters years ago, and we have also hired them to repair a roof leak on a flat-roofed addition in the past. We plan on having them do all of our roof work in the future.

Estimate was provided for TPO layer over existing layer. The existing seams were bubbling up and pulling apart. As they worked to clear the seams, they pulled them back and found that existing layers underneath were soaking wet several layers down. They then recommended tearing off the entire roof. As this was done, they found there was no insulation at all in the roof, so they recommended installing 3" insulation. All of this work was completed within one week. Job site was cleaned up and roof protected at end of each day. Communication on progress and issues was very good. Original estimate for TPO layer was $2,552. With unexpected work having to be performed, total was $4,400.

Received a prompt estimate. Work was scheduled very soon after a deposit was made. Work was done to my satisfaction after inspection. Aspen performance was very professional and dependable.

Very bad hole int he roof was discovered(leak into the bedroom). The house is around 90 years old(Capitol Hill area). Called for several estimates from different roofers. Aspen was not the lowest bid but they had one of the higher ratings on this list. I decided to go with them. They arrived when they said they would and above all they finished when they said they would. I was very apprehensive with hiring a roofer(tons of bad stories out there) and was very happy to have a list such as this to guide my decision making process. Basically they did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it and for the price they quoted.

It was a great experience. This was our choice of three bids, and it came in less than half of the highest bid for less work. The work was done on time, as promised. The workman was polite and cleaned up completely. Our attic space temperature dropped significantly as did the expense of cooling our upper floor. We are looking forward to much less ice-damming on the roof this year. They also came through on the $50 discount coupon.

They were punctual, did what they said they were going to do, and I would recommend them to others.

They came very quickly to give a bid and after I contacted them, I paid them a down payment of half of the money. The response time was about two weeks before they started the project. The roofing work went fine, but the gutter repair went very slow.

They did the job. They came before they said they would, but it took longer than they said. The communication wasn't very good; most workers spoke Spanish.

Aspen was prompt. I met them and we walked the roof and discussed the issue. Their representative checked the seals manually and gave me a good description of the whole installation process. He said that due to the weather (it was Winter in Salt Lake and our roof had a few inches of snow) he would need to wait until there was a break to do the actual repair work. Two weeks later there was, and they arrived and completed the repair. We have had no problems since.

The bid for re-shingling with 30 year shingles, installing gutters and a fireplace chimney shroud was comparable to top companies from The List. Re-shingling was scheduled the next week. The delivery, installation and cleanup took four days. Luis Vargas and Alfredo were prompt, courteous, professional and did a terrific job. The gutter and chimney shroud installation was another matter. Installation was scheduled three times, but the installer, Tony, did not show up. Only once did he apologize and offer the four week delay in manufacture as the excuse. The work took a total of two days. The site was left clean but installation quality was average.

I liked the estimator - primarily because he encouraged me to get on the roof with him and check out the problems. He was straight forward about options and cost. I'm reasonably satisfied with the work, but I had to ask the company to come back and wipe down dripping chemicals, remove stickers from edges and complete the gutter repair. In other words, I had to bug them to get the job done. With that in mind, I'm not sure I'd hire them to do a larger roof job. They also showed up, initially, to do the job without calling me first. Although they were great about rearranging the schedule, that struck me as unprofessional.

Called this company because they are rated highly on your list. They came out to do an estimate, but never gave us the estimate. We called them several times and were told that they would fax us the bid that day. We never got it and ended up using another company.

Jon was one of several who came to look at the roof. His analysis was the most thorough and the options for repair the most complete. For the roof repair, he submitted pictures of the area to be repaired with the estimate. Once I agreed to the estimate, the work was scheduled to be done quickly. The workers were efficient and seemed to be very good. Everything was cleaned up at the end of each day, and because of the way they worked, there was very little to clean up. Jon was extremely professional and so were the people on his work crew. We are extremely pleased and would not only hire them again but would not even call anyone else. Smart, able, efficient, and pleasant to work with. An A is not a high enough grade.

They were great. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very attentive. They were very courteous. The price could of been a little cheaper but you also get what you pay for. We haven't had any problems since then.

The manger came out to make sure everything was good, which made us feel very important. I would recommend them to friends and family. The roof has been repaired and has not had any problems since. A generally positive experience.
