Although it took a few tries to fully identify the problem AA was great about sticking with me until the problem was resolved without making me feel like I was getting ripped off.

My freezer had stopped freezing. I had to turn the temp up all the way and it still was not freezing. Tech showed up on time. He did a couple tests and found that all that was needed was an adjustment of the temp control unit. Total cost was under $70. It's working great now. I would definitely use these folks again.

One of the men came over to fix my washer and I had no idea what was wrong with it I was given it and told it doesnt work and nobody knows why. I told the repair guy I dont know whats wrong with it, I started it once and it leaked everywhere so I stopped it and called them. The guy opens a panel and says oh, something is broken ill get the new part. The part was said to have come in in a few day. about 10 days later I call in and they say they have the part and scheduled an appointment first thing the next morning. At 4pm the guy arrives and installs the part and find something wrong with the tub and barrings or something and gets frustrated at my wife for not telling him that the tub was also broken, like my wife was keeping that a secret or something? Anyways my wife calls me at work to come home because she was getting ready for a photo shoot and that make up girl was that there helping her get ready and she was feeling embarrassed at the guy getting upset. I come home and they guy said he still had to charge me for the part because he already paid for it and ordered it... he quoted me and I paid full upfront before they finished the job $175. Then after ordering the part he said since he found the second problem its going to cost another $1,000 and now I have to pay for a part that I dont need because the washer brand new is $800, I would not pay $1,175 to fix it... Anyways I talked him out of charging me for the part but he still had to charge me for the diagnostic fee of about $75. So they tell me they will put the money back on my card and put it will take 3 to 5 business days and I have to repay the diagnostic fee because they could not reimburse only the part from my old transaction.. whatever had to wait another week before I got that money back. Its now 3 weeks after my first phone call with them and I still have no way to wash cloths at home haha... The guy was nice and we got along but I just dont know if I will be calling repair people for a while.

They were great! I was able to make arrangements over the phone for them to coordinate the appointment with the tenant. They arrived when they said and fixed the minor problem. I was able to pay with a credit card over the phone, and they applied the Angie's List discount. Very easy.

Scheduling went well - very friendly and helpful. The repair person arrived on time as advertised. Sterling was very friendly and great to work with. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that there was a piece of plastic rubbing up against the exhaust fan. The offending obstruction was removed. When they first came, they checked to see if the compressor was under warranty, which is was. They got the compressor under the warranty, and I only had to pay for the labor for them to install it. I really appreciate their willingness to check into the warranty to save me money. They were also able to do the repair more quickly than they anticipated. As soon as the parts came in they came to do the repair. Their service was excellent and I'm very happy with them.

Sterling was knowledgeable, efficient, professional and a great guy to work with. - Fixed coupling of refrigerator to water line that was installed incorrectly by a previous service provider. - Diagnosed a warped LG washer spin basket that is causing a loud and unbalanced spin cycle. Sterling also found it's covered by a lifetime warranty for the part. Unfortunately, American Appliance isn't on LG's list of authorized service companies or I would have engaged them to do the repair.

This is a great company. Excellent price and great customer service and contact. My tech, Ian, did a wonderful job and for a very good price. The front staff, Maddy and Crystal, stay in contact constantly. They were also very punctual and did their best to fit you into the schedule so you didn't have to take a day off with a huge window of time. I cannot recommend them enough.

Right from the beginning this was a good experience. Crystal was very pleasant on the phone and was great to accommodate my schedule (working around a doctors appointment). Sterling came in the time frame I was quoted and had resolved the problem in about 10 minutes. So many times when you have an appliance fixed you feel totally ripped off. Not this time! It was a fair price and I also received a discount for being an Angie's list member. I will most definitely call them again.

Called to schedule the repair. They scheduled the appointment for the same day and the technician arrived in the specified time frame. He did a great job and explained what he found and repaired.

Initially called to have drain pump replaced because of error code and information given by LG on washer. Called American Appliance they scheduled appointment, arrived on time, removed drain pump and found a wire clip that had somehow made it past the filter on the machine and wedged between the impeller and housing. Put the original pump back in the machine and everything worked fine. They did not charge for a new pump, were very honest and quick in the repair. Austin did a great job!

I submitted my request that evening. I received a call the following morning and someone arrived at my home early in the afternoon. The work was completed in a timely manner and the price was great!

This was the second time I had called American Appliance for furnace work ... the first being a general seasonal tune up a while back. I was told at the time to watch this particular furnace unit closely, repairs may be needed before long. Yes ... weeks later, it happened. Service call again ... tech showed me how to limp along, while parts were on order. Worked great. Parts came very quickly, work scheduled and completed quickly. Overall, very pleased with all aspects ... office / scheduling .... tech ... costs. (Note: my actual out of pocket costs were based on my third-party HOW contract.)

I called American Appliance because I needed someone to look at my Maytag dishwasher. Dishes on the bottom rack weren't getting cleaned and I didn't know how to check the water sprayers. The scheduler for American Appliance was very helpful and got my appointment scheduled for less than 48 hours (it was NOT an emergency situation). In between the time I called and the time Austin came to work on my dishwasher, my clothes dryer stopped working, too. I felt lucky that I had an appliance service company already coming. When they called to confirm my appointment, I told them I needed the clothes dryer serviced, too. They said it would not be a problem. Austin arrived precisely within the promised time frame. He listened to my description of the problems I was having with both appliances and promptly went to work. He was able to quickly and accurately address both issues and get them repaired. He only charged me the fee for the service call (since he finished both issues within 30 minutes). And I got a discount for being a member of Angies List! I will DEFINITELY call American Appliance again if I need further service in the future!

Technician was prompt and thorough. Gave a repair estimate that was fair and transparent (they itemized the cost of the part, shipping, and labor, which I confirmed by calling the Asko 800 number). Repair was done within 10 days of diagnosis. Part was supposed to arrive in approx. 3 days but didn't see it for 10. Not sure if that was the distributor's or the technician's fault. Would have liked better communication re: the status of the part. I had to call several times. Overall, though, we were very satisfied and would use American Appliance again!

Technician arrived at the scheduled time and went promptly to work on the dishwasher. The dishwasher was not draining or filling properly. He was very methodical and was familiar with the operation of the Bosch dishwasher. He quickly determined the problem (blocked drain) and corrected it. He thoroughly checked the operation of the dishwasher to make sure that it was running properly. He had good things to say about the quality and reliability of the Bosch dishwashers and that was reassuring. The work was all you could ask for in a service call - he was prompt, knowledgeable, and efficient in his work. I would not hesitate calling this company again for future repairs.

The freezer stopped freezing and only kept the temperature around 38 degrees. Called American Appliance and was particular about them coming in the morning and they got me in the next day during that time. They arrived within the arrival window and inspected the freezer defroster and fixed a faulty wire and reset the unit. He thought the problem could also be the fan and said that would be an extra $68 and $30 fee to return to install it but wasn't sure it was needed. I'll watch it and call back if needed. The total cost for this trip was the service call fee of $75 less Angie's 10% off. I'll definitely use them again.

Excellent job. Arrived on time. Diagnosed the problem quickly. Had the necessary part in his truck. Everything was done promptly and professionally.

The price was very competitive compared to the other bids we received and their experience was what sealed the deal.

Both times, Austin diagnosed problem immediately & fixed it. Charged just a service call minus 10% Angieslist discount. Came on time. Didn't leave a mess. Couldn't be better.

Freezer fan had stopped and it was no longer freezing adequately. We also had a top rack in our dishwasher that was broken. Submitted a request through Angies List on a Sunday night. They contacted us Monday and scheduled service call for the next day. Arrived on time. The repairman knew exactly what the problem was with the freezer and fixed it in about ten minutes. He even showed me how to fix it myself if it happened again! Parts were secured for the dishwasher rack and he returned the following Monday (again, at the scheduled time) and quickly fixed the problem. Best experience we have had with appliance repair,

While my experience was a strong B, my tenants struggled at times (they claim) with responsiveness. I wil, say that they moved and found parts much more quickly after talking with me then tenants. My tenants can be difficult, so I wanted to reflect a midpoint. It was close to a month for them to replace a motor on the fridge.

This vendor provided excellent service. I called on Wednesday and was able to book an appointment for Saturday morning. The tech arrived when scheduled and replaced one of the elements and the wiring plug in about 20 minutes. Our range is now working again perfectly. The tech also checked the rest of the elements and the oven for proper function during his visit. Overall, a great experience.

I found American Appliance though Angies List. The technician was prompt and knowledgeable. The charges were fair. I will continue to use them.

The tech was quickly able to analyze the problem. Fortunately he had the part in the truck. He stayed to make sure that everything worked.
