Standard Fence

Marty got us a quote quickly and his pricing was great. He got us on the schedule for install in about 2 weeks during the height of summer! Others were scheduling four to six weeks out and we needed our fence completed because we have a dog. His crew was punctual, professional, and clean-cut...plus they built the fence with excellent workmanship. If you have wood fencing needs, don't bother getting two or three quotes like I did, just use these guys.

Fence looks great! Everything went over smoothly. Was a quick turnaround from time of contract to installation without any delays in schedule. Marty used high quality materials with attention to detail in installation. Would highly recommend and would use again.

Marty built an excellent fence, This was the second time he did work for us and it was very good both times.

We can't say enough about the quality of work done, punctuality, price, etc. They exhibited the utmost in skill and professionalism. Our needs were addressed to the letter, and then some. I would DEFINITELY recommend Standard Fence to anyone and we'll most certainly be repeat customers.

They did a great job. The owner was here during the entire project and his crew was friendly and knew what they were doing. Plan to have them put in new Cedar gate in spring and possibly replace 75' of fence as well. Good guys and would definitely recommend. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for!

Marty (Standard Fence) and crew tore down the old fence and removed the debris. The new fence and posts were built within a week. The fence is of good quality and should last for many years. I would use Standard Fence again when needed.

Marty and his team exceeded expectations. The fence looks incredible and numerous neighbors have complimented it. I was impressed how often Marty was onsite to ensure the job was done correctly. We had the fence stained by 5-star and it looks excellent. Ensure you have a clearly marked garbage can for refuse.

All went well. Standard was the least expensive bid and available to do the work sooner than their competitors we got bids from. We felt they did a great job for us on both occasions and we definitely would use them again.

I called Marty for a quote at least 5 times and he kept loosing my number and failed to come give us a quote many times, I finally gave up and went with Always Fencing - they did a great job. I don't know how good this company is but the guy in charge of quotes is horrible.

He put in a lot of work to bid the job even though the job fell threw on my part.

Job went well, we scheduled it during the busy summer months which resulted in a small delay but Marty let us know ahead of time about the delay and it was only about a week later than he said it was going to be. He and his staff installed posts the first week, then finished the fencing the following week as well as the gate installation. The new addition matched the existing fencing very closely and we're very happy with the result.

Quality work. They put in metal posts to prevent future tip over. They were able to reuse most of my wood panels and they left me a few new ones in case I need to replace any old wood panels in the future. While my fence was down they put in a temporary chain link fence since I have a dog. That was a huge relief for me.

Job was done very professsionally, and looked very good. The yard had a slight slope to it so it involved a little more time to complete the job.

Went very well. We had a deadline, big reunion, Marty and crew met that deadline--fencing is done well, looks great--

I think their pricing was actually pretty good. They installed the wrong kind of fence. We told them to install one kind of fence and they installed another. They installed it perfectly, but it was a disaster.

They were very unpunctual. They showed up about 72 hours late.

Marty was professional and did a good job. While he was not able to keep his original schedule, he kept in constant contact.

Took over a week to setup first appointment for a quote, then didn't respond for 2 weeks with bid until I called. Wasn't ready with anything - but apologized and got me some options. However, no bid completed, now 2 months later, one ignored call back, and nothing. Completely unprofessional.

I waited a long time to write this review because I wanted to give Marty at Standard Fence (Owner) every opportunity to make this right. Unfortunately it didn't happen. It pains me for this review to not be glowing. It really should be. It took longer that I'd expected to get the fence built, though this is an understandably busy business. The quality of the fence and most of the gates were fantastic. He only used the very best of materials. I noticed the ~20% of materials set to the side due to not being up to their standards. Marty and all of the crew members that I met were highly professional. I'd let any of these folks work with my grandma. They were also really hard workers. When they were there, they were giving 100%, every minute they were there. And Marty, the owner, is simply a good, respectful guy. When it was done I handed over the check with no reservations. Unfortunately the gate that I use the most started wearing down quickly. What started as a difficult to close latch turned in to having to lift up the gate to get it to close, and I was the only person in the house strong enough to lift it up with my foot to get it to close. The work was complete at the beginning of May of 2015 and I reported back to him on 8/31/2015 that the gate was drooping and the latch was difficult. Since then I've contacted Marty directly a few more times and, while he responds to my email requests promptly, he hasn't been able to come out and fix it. It is 5/20/2016, over a year since the fence was built and over 8 months since I initially reported the issue. It is finally to the point that I'm going to repair the gate this weekend. My neighbors put my dogs back in my back yard this week; they had gotten out because the latch failed. So... in summary, Marty and Standard Fence do fantastic work and do it with more professionalism than I see at my white color tech job. Unfortunately (or I suppose fortunately for him) he is so busy that he isn't able to meet the deadlines he sets.

I was pleased the the service, the timeliness, showing up when they promised, the professionalism and working with my schedule. The work seems to be of high quality and he did not forget to do anything agreed upon. He also had to cut back a tree stump that had grown into the fence line and he did it without complaint.or extra charge.

Marty responded quickly to all of my texts. He bid the job and was punctual and professional in every aspect. Hight recommend.

Marty was fantastic! He worked really hard to get the project done quickly and we appreciated that so much. The finished project looks absolutely amazing and is very high quality. I would highly recommend him.
