I am 100% satisfied with the work performed by Standard Fence. They replaced all of my cracked and broken pickets, they re-leveled about 24' of fence in my front yard that had been installed out of level, they refastened any/all loose pickets, they then power washed ugly old style redwood stain off of all the existing pickets, then re-stained the entire fence with "natural" stain and, finally, rebuilt my falling apart gate. I had no idea they would be able to bring my old and weathered fence back to such nice looking fencing again. I would and will use their services in the year to come and, I strongly recommend them to anyone needing fencing work performed. Great Job to Marty and his crew with Standard Fence! THANK YOU

After taking bids from two other companies, I chose Standard Fence to replace my large gate. Their bid was about 1/3 lower than the other two companies for the same materials and services. They came out the day after I called and discussed everything I wanted done and gave me a complete written estimate. The work was begun the week after the estimate, in spite of January weather, and completed efficiently and thoroughly. They even went the extra mile and repaired a section of my neighbor's adjoining fence that was falling down, for no extra charge. I am very happy with every aspect of the dealings I have had with this company.

The quality of their work was great. The fence looks really good and is well secured in the ground. The supervisor was very friendly and we were very happy with the price. Our only issue was that they did not complete the work on schedule and it dragged on a little. They knew that we needed a new fence because our dog had escaped from our old one and it was hard for us to manage the dogs without fencing. After a few days of delay, they did come and put up some modular chain link fencing and that was great. We would have given them an "A" but for us the timing was a big issue and we just felt like the promised date of completion was not kept.

I don't give second chances for things like this, because I feel that this is a reflection on how they will treat the job. I hope others have a better experience making and keeping appointments with Marty.

Very responsive, and quality work. The project did get held back a couple days due to weather and other jobs that took longer than expected but he more than made up for it by doing a repair to the existing fence at no additional cost. Work was quality and workers were very respectful of property. Would definitely recommend and use again.

The estimate was reliable. Marty was professional, polite and efficient. The other workers were professional, efficient and polite They systematically completed work and modified plans as needed.

I have never had a fence installed and had no idea what to expect. The work they did was good and I expect the fence to be around for a long time. Unfortunately they didn't mention that my yard was not very level. I literally have 8" gaps at the bottom of some of the fence. They were quite quick in explaining that they aren't landscapers. If they would have told me earlier that the fence wasn't going to be anywhere near flush to the ground I would have had my builders out there leveling. As it is now we only have 4' gates and there is a bloody fence on top of the uneven sections. I can't get a machine back there. I will literally need to level my whole yard by hand now which doesn't make me very happy. Update: He offered to fix the grading, or take off a panel to allow a landscaper to come through with a machine. Updated grade to reflect that.

Marty was good to work with. His estimated phone bid did not change from the actual quote. The fence is straight, elevation true, and Marty did not bauk at a last minute change to "two tone". Two sprinkler heads were broke due to his equipment, but they were like mines in a field. Over all I'm pleased with the job and the cost was a little less than a previous quote I received from another contractor.And no, I did not share the previous bid with Marty.
