They came out, surveyed the issue, and found the mystery GFI outlet in the craziest place (first time in 20 years it had tripped.) It took them only 15 minutes. I was so impressed with them. They had to charge me for an hour so we surveyed all the rest of the electrical for another few minutes and they replaced one timer that had gone bad with a switch and did not charge me extra for the switch itself.

JP Electrical did a great job upgrading my panel, wiring up my garage, adding a hot tub gfci, and correcting sloppy work in my new (old) house. I was fed up with other electricians coming into my home painting doom and gloom pictures of my older wiring and suggesting astronomically priced upgrades. Jon was prompt and professional in providing me an estimate and Mike and Ian were quick and neat in their work. They got in and completed my project right away when other electricians said I would need to schedule months in advance. To top it off their bid came to half of what the other guys were asking. Everything about the process was exceptional and I am very happy with the work. I will definitely look to JP Electrical for all my future electrical needs.

Perfect. Paul and his assistant were great. They quickly found the problem and called around to find the needed parts. They were both great to work with and have already asked them for another bid to do some more work. I do not plan on using anyone else but JP Electric from now on.

Great experience from start to finish. Mike and his partner ( I wish I had asked his name) were very friendly and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently. Mike had an excellent suggestion about adding recessed can lighting which he was prepared to do right then. He also noticed my dangling garage light sconce and fixed it. I've used this company before and have had only positive experiences with them.

It took them a little while to troubleshoot the problem, but they were able to figure out some bad wiring that someone else had done and fix the problem. I'm not sure what the usual price per hour is for electrical work (cost was 75 per hour for the foreman and 35 per hour for the apprentice), but I was happy with the work they did. There was a little drywall debris left after they were done, but overall they did a great job cleaning up. Paul (foreman) gave me some tips to avoid the problem in the future with own wiring jobs. Great team rapport.

Sheetrock needed to be cut to install the lights. They were very careful not to make big holes. They cleaned everything after the job was completed. They did a great job. We love the lights they installed. We definitely trust them and will use their services in the future.

JP Electric has always been professional and responsive. Their rates are reasonable. Most of my work has been quoted and performed by Mike. The installation of the bathroom heaters required adding 20 amp circuits to the panel in the basement and running those lines into the attic, a challenge in our finished home because there was no wall that ran continuously from basement to attic. Mike was able to recommend a cost effective option that also met code requirements. My smoke alarms went off randomly this morning and JP Electric sent out an electrician as quickly as they could today to troubleshoot. Turns out it was probably just a spider. Everyone I've ever dealt with, by phone or in person, has been pleasant and professional. I can't say enough good things about this company.

i called JP electrical to get a bid on adding another 240 line for a new double oven purchase. When I called I got a very nice women who told me estimates would be a few days out and then asked if I could hold for a moment. When she returned she said she had a crew near and would I be opposed if they came over in 20 mins. Of course I was more than willing thinking I will have to wait more than a week. Mike and Ian arrived who were very professional, kind, and courteous. I told them what I needed and they provided two options on running the wire. Once we determined the best course of action, they went straight to work. They obtained the necessary materials and spent quite a bit of time determining the correct amps associated with my two new oven units. I felt their knowledge was such that I felt very safe in knowing that the work would be completed correctly. I was so impressed with not only the company but both Mike and Ian and have already told several friends of my experience and said if they ever need electricians this is the place. Thank you for your prompt and professional service. I could not have asked for anything better!

When I called to make an appointment to get an estimate on the work we needed done, they were very courteous and professional. The estimator, Jon Street was on time and called ahead to confirm the appointment. When I called back to schedule the work, the process went very smoothly and they were able to get to it very quickly. Mike Christiansen & Ian Jex arrived on time to do the work. They were very helpful in choosing the proper placement of the can lights they were installing and took the time to be sure I was satisfied with how they would look. They were fast and did a great job. When the job was finished, even though we had other work going on and I told them I would clean up, they took the time to clean up anyway. I was pleased with how everything went, start to finish and I will definitely use them again.

Very quick to respond to calls, easy scheduling, showed up on time, all seemed good. I was at work so my wife dealt with the electricians. 2 came for the call. According to my wife they rushed through her requests, didn't do some of what she asked and left within 20 minutes. Maybe she wasn't clear, maybe they were right that one of the things we asked them about was a big project and not a problem/not worth doing. But nonetheless, when they left there were still switches hanging out of the wall. Now I don't mind finishing up the easy parts of a job if its gonna save me some money, but these guys left after 20 minutes and charged for a full hour of work for 2 guys, stating that that's their minimum charge. And leaving it unfinished. And rushed out before my wife felt that she got her questions answered. No way. Thats straight up bad service. Never again.

It went great! We were so pleased. They came the day after I called and they were extremely prompt and professional. We had several things that needed to be done and they made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Paul Corbett and Zach Hayes did a great job! We would definitely use them again.

The two men arrived on time, were respectful of our things and didn't leave a mess. Our dogs were excited to have strangers in the house and managed to get loose from the backyard and the me alerted me and helped get them back. I have more work to be done and this is the only company I will use. When the quote was done, it was explained so well I was able to understand what was urgent and what could wait until we could comfortably afford it. I can sleep knowing my house isn't in danger. What a wonderful company.

They're were great. As a new homeowner, I intrusted the help of Angieslist for assistance with my home needs. They delivered! The provider gave me a courtesy call to say they were running late due to traffic. weather, you know those Utah drivers in the snow, it's like they've never seen it before. Anyway, they showed up and asked what I needed done. I explained my needs (install light fixtures and work on power outlets that were not working). They asked me if I had the fixtures to be installed, but I did not. I let them know that I figured they'd have these light fixtures to install since when I spoke with the booking representative to set up the appointment, I specified what I needed done, and wasn't told to have it ready and available for them to install. After covering what I needed and what they can and would do, they left to a near by Lowes to pick up the light fixtures needed. I believe in total the work took about 3 hours (written on the receipt) They got everything I wanted done and everything looks great. When it came to billing, I was not told any rates, or how billing even worked. I only found out about the pricing once the paperwork was filled out. So, I paid. Overall, I am satisfied with the work, but was not fully prepared for it. My only feedback would be to have the customers ready for the service by making sure that if they would like something installed, like I did, to have it ready to be installed. (The provider having to leave and purchase the light fixtures added more time to my bill as they charge an hourly rate) also, before starting service, going over billing or even during the appointment set up. Thanks for the referral. Definitely recommended.

They did a good job and they followed up. He was pretty thorough and finished everything up after the service was converted. He was here for two days because of the way the work was split up. For the kitchen he took a day to do that and then he came back the second day after he power company came and hooked up the 200 amp service. The day he was doing the kitchen, he worked his butt off. The price was right in the ball park with everything they did. He showed up at 8:00 o'clock in the morning and didn't leave until almost 5:00. He worked the whole day.

The service turned out good. They were very efficient, they did the work well, got it done, cleaned up after and left. They did a good job.

They were on time. Accomplished the job fairly quickly. Did not take any preventive measures to keep debris from falling on carpet and other places. Very unsatisfied with the mess they made. I expected a tarp or other material would be put down under the work area. I mean really, how difficult is that. Did not clean up. Seemed a little disorganized-one of the guys had to leave to get supplies. I really would like to recommend them to others, but based on this experience a cannot.

CJ was awesome. We were so excited to do our first cosmetic project on the home (instead of HVAC, water heater, etc.) Bought beautiful new light fixtures which they installed perfectly. Also cleaned up some old riff-raff electrical needs and it just really tidied up the home. They even adjusted the price because part of the job was more simple than anticipated; which we certainly appreciated. Will definitely use again.
