JP Electrical was fantastic. After leaving a message, I was contacted within a few hours to set up an in-person walk through to provide a quote. The technician was interested in exactly what I wanted and provided a quote that came in below my expectations. Work was scheduled for the next week and the electricians were on time (though I was not) and very patient. Work was performed quickly and at the price quoted. They even took the time to double check some wiring I was doing myself. (3-way light switch). Overall, a great experience. I will definitely be calling them again for all my future electrical needs.

. It took approx 1.5 hr's. I am very happy with how the work was done and felt very informed of why things were being done as he did them. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for quality work at a good price.

Jim arrived a few minutes early. He got right to work after I explained the problems to him He worked quickly and efficiently and was done in two hours. He also disagreed with work that was recommended by another contractor which saved me about $350 off his estimate. I did ask Jim if he felt any "bad vibes" or "bad karma" when he arrived (see my review of Talley Electrical). He laughed and said no. Unlike the previous contractor who demanded I pay him in cash or certified funds (although he lists he takes checks on this list), Jim accepted payment as per their listing on here. I will definitely use this company again and will unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone who asks.

I think I said it all above. But let me add this: I called them Friday. We agreed to meet Tuesday afternoon. He got here early! He promptly diagnosed the problem and performed the services I described above. He accepted a credit card for payment and all was good.

I called and they had two technicians at my house in about an hour. They gave me a quote before they began work and came in just a bit over. Overall, they finished the job much more quickly and at a lower cost than I was expecting. My contractor, who was at the house when they came by, was very impressed with their work. I would definitely use them again!

They were prompt about the work and getting it done. It is an older house. They knew how to do the work and handled it professionally. I was really happy with their work. I would use them in the future.

Very professional company. Answered on first call, schedule the appointment on the day I requested and showed up 10 minutes early for the appoint. The electrician explained exactly what he was going to do in detail. He disconnected the power and install the surge protector in 20 minutes. Very efficient and professional people.

Received prompt call back. Was told they'd be by around 11AM the next day. They called at 815 to say they'd finished an earlier job and would be by in 20 minutes. This worked great for me but might not have for others. The 2 electricians were efficient and complete. They got the job done in a timely fashion. I'd originally thought I was just going to get a bid but they were able to give me an approximate price and told me they could do it right away so I went with them.

Jim arrived when he had scheduled, quickly installed the device, explained the mechanism, handed me a product warranty on paper and left.

The electrician was punctual, efficient and friendly.

My overall experience with them was pretty good. They were prompt and professional. One of the things that I remember being impressed with about them is that most of the companies came out with three or four contractors and looked it over, and some of them got me a written quote within the next two or three days but JP was different. I had to call back one of the companies a week later and ask for the quote. The estimator from JP came out and looked at it, and then went out to his truck for about ten minutes and came back with the written quote. That was really helpful because I was kind of in a hurry to get the project done. So I appreciated that. They came and completed the project when they were scheduled to. There were a couple of fixtures that I had a problem with. One of them was crooked and another one didn’t have the face plate but they fixed all those. I called them back and they had someone out here the next day and fixed it right. Their pricing was competitive. I think that they were basically tied with one of the contractors for pricing. I will use their services again in the future.

The work was done well. A few things were missed but were completed at a later date and since we had not moved in it was not a big deal. We had them come out and move 3 wires and the invoice did not match what I was told by the tech who called me from the house the morning of the work. I believe I was billed for and extra employee and if there was two techs there, 3.5 hours with two guys (7 hours total) is a lot of time to do what should have been a very quick easy job.

I was extremely pleased with JP Electrical. I obtained two bids for the work and they were significantly cheaper than the other electrician, which I had used previously. Bob provided the bid and dealt with additional work I added later on. He was very professional, practical, and easy to work with. The electricians that actually performed the work were prompt, polite, and thorough. I will definitely use JP Electrical again, and I recommend them highly.

I spent about $1400 on the job. I had received quotes from another company. The quotes were similar, but this company was a little bit competitive. They were more responsive in the biding process and they were available sooner. They were quick. They gave me an estimate in time. I got a general impression from other electricians that they were not interested in residential retrofit. The guy from this company seemed perfectly happy to be quoting for a small residential job. He came around and looked at everything. After 10 minutes, he gave me a written quote, whereas, the other companies took more than a week to give me a quote. I had to call these companies back for the quote. So, I chose this company. They were quicker and more responsive to the quoting process. However, they didn?t fix one thing right the first time. Later, they fixed it right. I would use them again in the future.

Initial appointment time changed by service provider at about the time of the appointment. Could have made the change sooner. At rescheduled time the technician arrived with two different replacement parts, determined which was needed and replaced. Total time approximately 30 minutes. By having the most likely item with him he rather than going to the supply house he save about an hour. Very good service.

I chose companies to bid if I saw positive reviews online (even here there are not many). Four companies came out and ended up with 3 bids (one said I would get an email but I did not). The JP employee seemed most knowledgeable about current codes and the JP bid was a third less than others. Some of these others also had good reviews on Angie's List. Both other companies used glossy laminated official quote guidebooks and were much higher than JP who was not using this type of guide. I called to accept bid from JP and that was about the last thing I had to do. The work went very smoothly. Workers were punctual, respectful, and completed the job as required. Permits and inspections were handled without any issues. Our power was out for less than 8 hours. As mentioned, work not included in bid was done for time and materials.

Very honest, and good work. Their schedule was a little flaky, and they did not clean up the best but they work extremely hard and efficiently.
