Extremely courteous, very responsive, came the same day. Did an excellent job was very polite and cleaned the area after completing the job. This is an excellent company with customer satisfaction as a priority. I would use them again and recommend them. They are the best I have ever used.

(From a retired guy who's spent a long time responsible for overseeing "Skills & Trades" activities & projects both at work and associated w/ my own place s for many yrs,); JP Elec's Ops' boss, Bob G., was totally responsive and easy to work w/ on this "Angie's Deal." His on-the-job electrician, "T.J.,' was excellent -- prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, thorough (including clean-up and "debrief") -- and especially satisfying, he was fast. Lots of "HQ" work in quick 2 hrs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND -- especially @ $99 for 2 hrs.

Initial Contact and Quote: I called Thursday, June 13th and was immediately put in contact with a scheduler. I explained the situation and he offered to have an electrician come out and give me a quote the very next day at 12:00 pm. The next day, Jonathan from JT gave me a call and was able to come a bit early which was nice. Jonathan walked the house with me, listened to my needs, and was able to give me a quote in under 30 minutes. He explained what services would be included and approximately how long the work would take (about 3-4 hours). Based on the type of work - I live in an old home and the locations of the outlets were going to be difficult to reach - I thought the quote was reasonable. He was able to immediately schedule the appointment early in the week with one of his teams. He asked if they could come early, around 7 am, because the work included being in our very warm attic. Work Day: Mike and Ian showed up right at 7 am ready to go as promised. Mike had me walk through the house to verify the work and we discussed some options based on some new information I had for him. He was able to adapt quickly and provide me with the best recommendations to complete the work. After that, Mike and Ian begin working and left after about 2 hours for parts. When the returned, they quickly finished the project. When it was over, they finished quicker than expected in about 3 hours. I was impressed with the quality of work - they had to make several cuts/holes/etc. but everything they did was professionally done and looked fantastic upon completion. Everything worked before they left and I was very happy with their service. Not only were Mike and Ian professionals, they were good people that I enjoyed conversing with. A couple days later...: One of the smaller projects they worked on, the garbage disposal switch, was not working. I called the company and they had someone out to my house (Rich) in under 30 minutes! These guys came in and took care of the problem in under 15 minutes (just a loose wire). Everything is working great since than and I have had no problems. Overall: Every customer touch-point was fantastic - the people at JT aren't just electricians but focus on customer service and will become my go to electricians/friends for all future jobs at my home. All of them delivered on their promises, were reliable/punctual, easy to work and converse with, clearly experienced, and hard working. It is not often you have such a wonderful experience as a consumer nowadays - it is obvious these guys get it!

They were very responsive. I called them in the morning and they were there in an hour. Their price is also very reasonable. They were also very professional and they were able to diagnose the problem immediately. They also fixed the problem within an hour and a half.

iThey were great but could not find/tie down or solve the burning smell problem. Offered to come back if I found the problem. Work guaranteed. Great guys. On time. But could not solve the problem. Would of given them an A rating but they could not locate and solve the problem. BUt offered to come back and clime into the attic oon early morning to check light fixture that runs from the smelling room to the attic.

They were quick to come out. They were able to trouble shoot the problem which was from wrong rewiring from previous owner. They got the wiring done fairly quickly. Its good to know we have good electricians to call on when we have electrical questions or issues.

They were quick to come out. Went through a list of possible problems that came up in an inspection. Answered all questions and gave an estimate for several things. Came back the next day to fix what was needed.

We were able to schedule an appointment for the next business day. The electrician showed up on time, did a great job for a reasonable price. He also answered our questions. Very pleased with the service and quality of work.

I made the initial inquiry, got a call back, scheduled an appointment, and had the work completed, in less than a week. The Guys were personable and efficient. The head electrician arrived right on time (to the minute). His assistant was a bit late, but that actually worked in our favor because we were able to make our plan of action in the meantime, and the assistant arrived just as we were ready to start the actual work. We had a list of electrical issues from our inspection prior to purchasing this house, and Jim was able to help prioritize our list of projects to keep things mostly within our budget. I'll be calling these guys again the next time we need an electrician.

They were quick and knowledgeable. I completely trusted they knew what they were doing. (can't say this about every company unfortunately). Today I called to try to get them to come fix an emergency situation. Jon Street went out of his way to find me some help and although he couldn't find anyone available until the next day, I appreciated that he cared enough to try to find someone. Seriously a great company.

I called JP Electrical,LC from work on the morning of December 21, 2012. The owner checked his electrician's schedules and set -up a service call at my home for that same afternoon. My wife told me that the electrician, Rich Ryan, arrived when he said he would and was very courteous and friendly as he asked about the problem and the location of our outside electrical breaker box. Rich quickly found the defective breaker, asked my wife for her OK to replace it, put the new breaker in and checked the outlet when he was finished. The bill, $65.00 labor + $6.50 for parts was less than we had expected and the service was excellent.

Jon Street was very prompt in returning my call and scheduling the initial appointment to provide me with the estimate. One day after his on-site walk through, he provided me with their comprehensive proposal. We then scheduled the first of two days necessary to complete the projects- the first to remove existing lighting fixtures and the second (after the repairs and painting had been completed) to install the new lighting fixtures. The two gentlemen who performed all of the actual electrical work were Rod and Chris. Trust me- these guys are ROCK STARS!! They were totally professional, efficient, and really, really nice! They listened to what I needed and then proceeded to deliver the perfect solution(s) for each situation! Oh, and one final bonus- the actual invoice came in several hundred dollars BELOW the original estimate!! As someone who has searched a long time for a great electrical contractor, I can't wait to tell my friends about the pros at JP Electrical! I will definitely use them again for any future projects!!!

I had a bathroom fan installed where I only had a light before. I called JP Electrical and they came out to provide an estimate and then give me a date when they could install the fan. On both occasions they were prompt and professional. When the crew ( Richard and another electrician) finished this task early they helped solve a few misc. problems. Though the fan installation was pretty simple the trouble shooting they performed for me took away any doubt whether is was worth the price.

They arrived on time, were very polite and professional, and completed the work as bid and no cost overages. I would recommend them and use them again.

Provo City is unusual in charging a large permit fee for this, approximately $700. Otherwise, the price was $1,500 which I thought was very reasonable.

Our appointment was set at 2:00 p.m., and we received a courtesy call approx 1/2 hour before the appointment to confirm our request for what was needed so they had enough supplies, and to let us know they were running 45 minutes behind schedule. When Jim Bell and Adam Boss arrived they were very personable and and their energy reflected upon their joy in the work they performed. Instead of giving us a bill for the requested work being completed of changing out the 10 outlets, they found that it had not resolved the issue of having no electricity to a number of our outlets. They did numerous testing and we were blessed that the outlet that 'was' working was found to be the culprit and had been arcing and melted approx. 3 " of the plastic off the wire, leaving it exposed to catching fire to our insulation in the wall. OVERALL: It took Jim and Adam 2 hours to make the repairs and we were very please with the $210.00 price. Thank you so much to JP Electrical for employing such great electricians... (Jim Bell and Brad Boss). We will certainly use your services for other jobs in our home and share our experience with many other friends and family.

The foreman and appretice came in and went right to work. They arrived on time, in fact they almost came early, but I was not available. We had some work done in our TV room about 3 months eariler by another company and when I went to turn on my sprinkling system it wourldn't work.To JP Electrical found the problem, fixed it and were done in less than 2 hours. I liked them so much I am going to use them on another project I am starting.

I initated contact via Angie's list, although I received an error message that my e-mail did not go through - Jon contacted me via e-mail. He was very prompt in returning calls and was very accomodating in scheduling the service call. We originally called because we had a circuit breaker go out and we couldn't resolve the problem ourselves. Jon fixed the immediate problem promptly. We live in an older home, so we opted to have the outdated overloaded circuit box replaced - Jon gave us a reasonable estimate and timeframe. His team came out promptly as scheduled, went right to work, even offering to clean under the washing machine when they had to move it to access the breaker box!!! They were polite, efficient, and even replaced a switch that they noticed was broken

JP Electric was excellent from start to finish. Prompt bidding and keeping within bid - no hidden costs. Great communication and reliable time estimates - very fast turnaround. Everything they said they'd do, they did; and did it well.
