I had to finally change out my 60 year old electrical meter. I had dragged my feet for years, dreading the bid process and county inspection. I took three bids and jp electric was lowest, by far. The estimator, Jon Street, was very straight forward and great to work with. (one of the estimators from a different company tried to up sell, using alarmist tactics---it seemed to him that my whole house needed rewiring). I spoke with Jon a few times before the work started and he was very responsive and willing to discuss details. Mike Christiansen and his apprentice, Ian Jex performed the work over two days, with a county inspection in between. Mike and Ian were so polite, and professional. I had a lot of questions along the way, and Mike was amiable and provided great, easy to understand answers. Mike and Ian worked well together and the work went smoothly, even through a few minor surprises. They cleaned up after the work was done.

They responded very promptly to my online message and scheduled an appointment for the following week. However, the appointment was for 1:30pm. I received a phone call after 2pm saying he was a half hour away, but asked about what he would need for the job so he could stop on the way to get it. He showed up at 3pm, a full hour and a half late. He was kind, clean, and professional. He cleaned up most of the mess from his work. They did honor a competitor's coupon/matched it. That was nice. I felt price was high though at $65/hour for a journeyman, plus 3.5 hours to install 4 outlets, a light socket and disconnect a breaker. Seemed like it took longer than it should have.

Went well but we still had over an hour left so thought we could use that at a later date but realized it all had to be done on that visit -we didn't prepare well as we could have had him put in a scone in our living room but didn't have it ready. would have liked a later discount offered.

I was contacted and had an electrician at my house within 24 hours of purchasing the labor coupon. I had a new lighting system that my husband and I had installed, but could not figure out why it wasn't working. It took a little while for Jim to troubleshoot the issue, but he worked on it until he figured it out and was more than happy to install another fixture since there was still time left. Getting the extra fixture was just a bonus for me. I was very happy with the work that was complete and I would definitely recommend this company/Jim in the future

I don't recall paying anything more than the big deal. I would recommend JP Electric LLC. They were great. I think they were right on time. I will use this provider in the future.

They didn't show up the first day. I called when they were a half hour late, and we agreed to reschedule. They didn't show up that day either. I decided to not call them or do work with them. They came knocking 2.5 hours after the appointment, and I decided to let them come in and do the work. They wound up telling me that basically all I needed was to replace light bulbs. They also fixed my garbage disposal switch, which I do have to make note of, to be fair. For the most part, I paid for nothing.

Service was excellent! He was professional, competent, and punctual! Very pleased.

The job went good they arrived at the scheduled time after explaining what I wanted done, Rod went back over everything I wanted done. After he was finished he went through and showed me what he had done with the lights and outlets and then explained the settings on the motion sensor light and what he set it for. He did a good job of cleaning up from holes that had to be cut in the walls and ceiling. When I made the appoitment I was told there would be 2 electricians but only one showed up, I don't think it made a difference on the final price but I think it wouldn't have taken as long with 2 guys working. I was very happy the with final results

Bob was very thorough in his quote. He reached out to suppliers and the city to ensure accurate details. While the work was done while I was out of town, I was very satisfied with the quality of the work. It was very well done. I would definitely recommend them.

Nice guys. Hardworking. Did a good solid job. Didn't clean up porch area afterwards, though, from installing light. When I asked about another malfunctioning light, they weren't all that interested. Seems like they wanted to get in and get out for the 2 hrs. special and encouraged me to re-book another app't.

It turned out very well. The technician arrived on time and did exactly what I asked him to. He answered all the questions that I had for him because electricity for the house is not one of my knowledgeable areas. He was there at the allotted amount of time and charge me for the labor was the deal was plus a little bit more for supplies but it was very reasonable. He explained to me the next step in finishing up the project that I had him work on. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

GREAT! They were very responsive right after the purchase of the $99 special. I have had them come in the past to check wire connections for all the lights in the house. This time was to replace 40 year old outlets that plugs were falling out. I have aluminum wiring and they were very professional and informative on safe ways to properly handle my situation. They worker was very good, clean, and knew I had purchased a special and was very attentive of his time. I even had him stay an extra hour. I'll have them back again to finish off some more outlets.

They were great. Jim was very professional. I was not sure what me electrical problems were. I explained the problems I was having and Jim was talked me thru the ways to fix the problem for the least amount of money. He explained that we could trouble shoot and spend hours trying to find the problem or we could just rewire the area and save some time and money. After he gave me his bid and added on two more "problems" I was having. He told me that would be fine to add them to the list. I want to thank Jim and JP Electrical for being honest and great workers!

JP electric was fantastic they came in and completely rewire the house if someone else text message Abba pawn they didn't five and a half hours I would highly recommend this company for electrical work they were very affordable.

They did the service at my son's house. They were there for maybe 20 minutes. In and out. They knew what they were doing and didn't charge me for the service. I would recommend them to anyone.

My experience was tremendous. We had a circuit breaker trio in Saturday and it would not reset. My garage door opener and all the outlets in the garage were dead. I couldn't find the problem, so on Sunday evening I went online and made an appointment for Monday morning. I had little hope it could happen that quickly but travel for work and was leaving my wife in a lurch! Bob contacted me early Monday morning and had Jeremy there about noon. He found the problem and had everything operational in about 1 1/2 hours. Problem solved. Fair pricing, professional service. Will use again.

Casey cme out and did an awesome job! he was polite, professional and very concerned with the quality of his work. he helped us with the placing of the lights to get the best effect. He took time to thouroughly clean up after he was finished with the job. He treated our home and us with respect. I would highly recommend them.

JP Electric was great to work with. They isolated the problem with the two outlets in the living room that were not working - an outlet in another room was not installed properly and had broken the circuit. They reinstalled the outlet and restored power to the living room. In a bedroom, an outlet had been cracked and needed to be replaced. It was located under bead-board wainscoting and the screws were not easily accessible. They removed and replaced the broken outlet. The charges are hourly for an electrical and technician, with material for the broken outlet.

JP Electric does a good job but a lot of times they send an apprentice and an electrician to do the job. I end up paying for two repairmen instead of one.

absolutely fantastic. They are quick to respond to calls and emails, work done as bid, no over charges, and the electricians were so friendly and knowledgable. Jon Stewart and Jim Bell were my main contacts. Jon bid and scheduled and Jim was the lead on the install. Very respectful and accommodating. I had a great experience with this company on two previous experiences and would use them again any time the need arises.

I have been very happy with the services provided by JP Electric. I have had them over 4 different times in the last few months. The first time they wired and installed a new vanity wall lamp and recessed lighting on our master bathroom. The second time they did some re-wiring on our basement for our home theater, and also re-did some wiring for our wall-mounted flat panel TV in our living room. The third time to re-install lighting on the outer garage door. The last time they did recessed lighting fixtures in our living room. Mike, Ian, and Jim (and others whose names I can't remember) were all very professional, did a great job that met my needs, cleaned up after leaving, were prompt, etc. I would definitely use them again for any future electrical needs.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. I talked to the person in the office and told them exactly what I needed. I asked them to tell me exactly what I needed so we wouldn't waste any time when they got here since I was paying for their time. I also asked specifically what they would be bringing. I even sent an email to the office and he sent an email back confirming this because I had a pretty complicated list so I thought it was all arranged ahead of time. Two people showed up instead of one and they had no idea because they hadn't had any communication from the office. They didn't know what they were supposed to do or what they were supposed to bring. One said they could run to the store and get it, but that was half an hour away. I said that I didn't want to pay for them to be out driving around so I wouldn't have them do that thing that I had wanted. The coordination with the office getting the information was not good. It took a while for me to connect with them and then to get it scheduled. I was surprised that there were two people instead of one but it worked because they were both capable of doing the work. There was a problem with the installation of one of the light fixtures. As soon as they put it in, the bulb went out. It was an unusual bulb that I would have to go purchase but that wasn't a problem of theirs.
