They were timely and showed up when they said they would. They were also professional and everything turned out fine.

They did a good job. They were very thorough and I would recommend them. However, I had some concerns about the fact that one of them rearranged my dresser drawer without telling me.

I have used 2 Local Gals for about three years and am hapy with the service.

Initially the office lost my request so I called them to schedule an appointment. The process seemed manual and unorganized. Finally when the appointment was scheduled and work complete the results weren't great. I'm not sure the hardwood floors were cleaned and for a deep clean, as requested, the results were only fair. The quote they provided me for ongoing cleaning was $110 which is more than I've paid with other companies so needless to say I hired someone else.

Found them on Angie's List - used them to clean house we were moving into and house we were vacating. They did an excellent job on both ends. I now regulary use them every 2 weeks to clean my home. Toni is assigned to our house - and she is absolutely AWESOME! She not only cleans...but replaced batteries in the smoke detectors that were beeping, replaces burnt out lightbulbs - goes above and beyond. I always ask for Toni - and if she's not available....I prefer to wait till she is. While they don't do laundry - they do everything else - from standard cleaning to changing sheets on beds.

Over all it went very well. The ladies were prompt and got to work right away. They worked very hard and got everything I wanted done in the 2 hours I pre-paid for. I was really pleased with their work, with just two exceptions. The outside of the microwave was not as clean as I would have like, so I did that myself. and they missed a door jam and small section of wall. I'm pretty sure this is because each person took an opposite side of my large dining room/kitchen and met in the middle, where the door jam was, so it was just overlooked. I didn't notice until they had gone, and again, just did it myself. I hired them mostly to help me get ready for having company over Thanksgiving, and they saved me so much time. I was thrilled with what was accomplished. I'm sure if I would have called the company they would have sent them back for these small things, but since they had worked so hard to get everything else done in the two hours I paid for, I didn't bother. My only suggestion to the company is to have some sort of checklist to go over with the homeowner. I got a quote over email and listed the main things I wanted done, but I thought they would go over things once they got here. It wasn't a huge deal, but they ended up cleaning my wooden shutters (which wasn't a priority to me) instead of some other things that they might have had more time for. But that being said, the shutters look great! I will most likely hire them again to do occasional deep cleaning. Well worth the money!

About 6 months ago we had them come out and do a thorough cleaning of our whole house. At that time we would decide if we wanted to have them come again on a regular basis. They did an awesome job so we signed them up to come and clean the house once a month. Dawn and Patty are the ones who come each month and they are great. They are professional, friendly, conscientious and do a great job. They make sure everything is completed and always ask if I need anything else done. I wish this service was available in Idaho as I would sign them up to clean my parents' house each month, too.

About two years ago I hired the 2 Local Gals service to clean my house every other week. I recently moved out of state and that is the only reason I've discontinued using them. I am very happy with the service the company provided. Ron, the owner, always calls the day before to confirm who is coming out and at what time. He is very responsive to scheduling issues and any issues one may have. Tasha is the person who usually did my house and she is really great. My house always looked great after she got done.

One lady showed up 30 minutes late, talked a lot about the houses and people she's cleaned for. The other girl showed up 45 minutes late. When you hire someone to perform tasks that are clearly explained and end up re-cleaning after them, that's not good.

Ron was great at explaining the procedures they would do and I got an prompt quote. We hired them for a deep clean, but had to reschedule when our little girl got sick. They were super accomodating and showed up on time and were done in less time than were booked for and we received a credit back for the unused hours. Overall I'm happy with their service and have since had them do a basic cleaning.

The woman arrived promptly at the time specified. She asked if I had a vacuum, which I didn't and I had told the woman scheduling that fact. Fortunately the cleaner did have one with her. She began to clean the bathroom and took a long time, which I thought was okay because the bathroom was really dirty. After about an hour and 15 the cleaner came and told me that she simply "could NOT" continue. That it was too dirty in there, that she had cleaned the shower/tub and the toilet tank and the mirror above the vanity. She did not clean the floor in the bathroom, nor the toilet itself, nor the vanity. She was upset that her boss would be angry that she didn't 'get two hours' worth of cleaning, so I told her to vacuum and I'd pay her for the two hours even though she didn't do near that time. She did about 1 hour and a half maybe. I have done house cleaning myself and have seen far worse than my own mess here, so I'm not sure if that cleaner was just not feeling well or what, but I won't invite this particular cleaning service back again. January 1, 2014. I just read the response from the provider. The conditions she describes for the home are not accurate. There was a rodent problem which was resolved before I contacted these people again. There was not 'feces' throughout the house. If it smelled so terrible, why did the cleaner not say so and just leave? I have no issue with that. The fact that there was 'mold and goop' in the bathroom is a bald faced lie. Again, if it were so bad that the cleaner was made ill, why didn't she just say so, and leave? I still wouldn't use this company even though the house I now occupy would no doubt meet up to their high standards for quality of homes they'll clean.

I’ve used their services for a few years and I’ve been pleased with them. They do a good job overall.

I’ve used other cleaning companies in the past which were pretty bad (I fired them after two visits). We’ve been with 2 Gals Housekeeping for about 6-8 months and we like them! We trust them, they do a good job, and we’ve been very pleased.

Very professional service - had to change date several times after closing date on new home was moved out. Very friendly, professional service. Cleaning gal's showed up on time, and did a fabulous job, on time and at quoted cost! We will definitely use these gals again!

Shawna was friendly, and professional. First time having a housekeeper, first time using angies list. 2 gals did a good job and provided a positive and professional experience.

I did like their services. When I work with people like them, I make sure that I specifically state what I want. Since it’s a cleaning service, people can make assumptions and so everybody should know what their idea of cleaning is. Everybody has different expectations. So I walked them through the house, and I talked to them about my windows and blinds. I pointed out things and so it was that sort of stuff. I get through any service like that. I also checked out the price elsewhere. They were punctual. I will use them again in the future.

They are prompt, professional, and very concerned with your satisfaction. Everything looks perfectly in place when they're finished.

They do a pretty detailed work. If I was staying in the house and if something is not done right but having to impress they do a great job that way. They had a little bit of hiccups getting started and that was because I was asking them to do everything beyond cleaning the house. So once we sorted that out they have been great.

I have been with them for two-and-one-half years and the people are always on time and honest. If I can't be here I just leave a key and they come in and do their job; it has always been great. I will use them again in the future.

It went great. I have worked with many housekeeping groups over the years in different cities. From both sides the key is being clear about expectations, price ,time and specifics (baseboards, cobwebs, particularly dirty areas etc )

I have used them several times since the first of the year. They were very responsive. When I called they came when I asked them to. I needed a quick cleaning before some people moved into the house and they came right away. They were the only ones I could get right away and they were pretty reasonably priced. They hire out people to come and do the work now. The two ladies that came were good and worked hard. I had no complications with the company and will use them again in the future.
