I spoke with James on 7/12 and explained that we needed our water heater replaced. James provided an estimate over the phone, and said he had availability the following day (7/13). He arrived on time, and completed the replacement in a couple of hours. James was very friendly, and whenever I had a question, he provided detailed answers. We are very happy with the service James provided and would certainly call him for our future plumbing needs.

James arrived when he said, patiently walked me through what work and parts would be needed, and conducted the work quickly and professionally. i definitely recommend this company.

James called me back very promptly after I left a message on a Monday morning, then stopped over on the way to his next appointment. He was punctual and courteous and fixed the issue right away, then showed me how I can do a similar fix in the future. Very helpful - I'd definitely recommend him.

I called White Knight Plumbing to get a quote on a water heater replacement. James returned my call within minutes and showed up the same day for an estimate. His bid was the best out of four bids that I had, he seemed knowledgeable and did not try to add any unnecessary parts and details. I hired him for the job. James came out on Saturday promptly. He did excellent job - very professional, fast and clean. He went and got a city permit per my request even though he didn?t have to. City inspector also noted a highly professional job. I am extremely satisfied with James? service and would definitely use White Knight Plumbing in the future. Highly recommend this company.

I thought the previous bid was high so I looked on Angie's list and found White Knight plumbing well recommended. I called and they quoted me $250. to install the faucet. He suggested I pick up my own faucet which I did for $160. We set an appointment for later in the week. James arrived on time but just after he arrived, I was called into work on an emergency. James continued working after I left but about 1/2 hour later he called wondering why I wanted to replace the whole faucet. I quoted the previous plumber, James said as far as he could tell the problem was a defective cartridge. He suggested we try the cartridge, that would cost around $150 and if that did not hold, he would return and replace the entire faucet and only charge the additional $100.00. The new cartridge worked perfectly, over two months now, and I saved $100 on installation plus the faucet price. Thanks to James for going the extra mile.

Overall experience was great. I would definitely use White Knight again in the future. James was efficient and professional. He came out for an estimate, clearly explained what needed to be done, and then performed the work as scheduled. I'm definitely pleased with the end result.

James returned my call promptly, was professional and courteous, and was able to give me an accurate price quote. We scheduled for him to do the repair that day, he was on time and got right to work. I really appreciated the fact that he returned my call promptly, and did the work the same day (it's no fun being without hot water). He did a great job with the install and I was very happy with his service. He is obviously a very knowledgeable and experienced plumber. I had gotten a price quote from a big box home improvement store that works with a very large, well established plumbing contractor. They quoted me @ $400 more for the same service. I'm guessing that White Knight doesn't have all the overhead and advertising expenses that the large plumbing contractor has. I would strongly recommend using White Knight Plumbing and was very happy with the quality of service, professionalism, knowledge, expertise and a fair price for a quality job well done. The technican was prompt. He was very thorough in measuring from the basement to kitchen to install a gas line. He spent considerable time trying to figure out if it could be done and I felt was very honest when he said that it could not be done at the present time. I appreciated the extra time he took and his honesty.

I was so very pleased with the company. Not only did they fit me into an already tight schedule, but did extra details, like rerouting a portion of the plumbing. He did NOT charge for any extras that he performed! He was fast, efficient and reliable. And most of all, he was $25 less than he'd quoted, with all the extra time for additional services. The final bill was $725.00.

Very professional service. He was polite and easy to work with. I appreciated the phone calls with updates and concerns that he had. I have used him before and will continue to use this company as my "go to " plumber!

Things went very well. We did need to end up replacing the pressure switch, which I have ordered.

Our water heater quit just before holiday weekend when we had company coming, and I was concerned about finding anyone to come out the same day. White Knight went out of its way to come right out and to obtain the part we needed for our older water heater model. The plumber was courteous, friendly and professional. He got right to work and fixed the problem, and cleaned up after himself, and did not attempt to sell me a new water heater or provide other services I didn't need. I'll definitely be calling them next time I need plumbing services.

James was great, this is our second time using him in a couple months. First time he installed a water softener. This time I was going to try to install a drop in sink myself but once I got looking into it , the old pipe looked to be a little too hairy for me. Rather then spend a whole weekend working on it, and then calling a plumber to fix my screw ups, I called James first! He gave us an estimate over the phone that was spot on. He even mentioned a few of the problems that could arise before he started and what he would have to do if they occurred such as problems with the garbage disposal or if the new drop in sink didn't quite fit. So we felt prepared for most contingencies. He was fast, nice and accurate! Everything went great and his estimate over the phone was exactly what he said - not a penny more or less. Highly recommended.

It went fantastic. James was probably the best plumber I've ever encountered. There are a few things that make him and his company great: 1.) His bid was much lower the many other plumbers. Other companies kept trying to convince me I needed a high powered professional top of the line water softner for 3000+ dollars. James said, sure he could do that but based on the size of my house and the water usage he recommended a mid-range model that he'd had success with. I researched the model, and it had fantastic reviews and was much cheaper. 2.) Here's where he goes ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty - when he showed up to install he noticed that our old softener had been installed illegally(gah for years!). Where the drain from the softener connected to the main sewer drain(all the water from tub, toilet, etc) had no trap, so if the sewer ever back-up(thankfully it hadn't in the last 4 years) it would've backed-up into the water softener and into the drinking water. He said he couldn't believe it. He didn't want our young kids to ever have to deal with that bad water. He said he'd fix it for free. He left and had to drive to 3 supplier to get the parts he needed. He came back and install the softener and the trap. 3.) He was happy to explain what he was doing, and why. That made us feel very confident in his abilities. 4.) He noticed a few other pipes in my basement that would probably need some service in the next 5-10 years(we have an older home) - namely a drainage pipe was too small. He took a piece out and showed us how it had gotten gunked up because it couldn't always handle the load from the house. I'll be using him to replace it soon. 5.) He also noticed a pipe that appeared to be slowly splitting and would need to be replaced soon. 6.) After noticing all these other things - he applied no pressure to get them fixed. He just pointed them out(knowledge is power). Highly recommended. I WILL be using him again in the future. A+.

my fireplace is working great now. so overall everything went just fine. james was aware of angie's list, but did not offer any discount for mentioning that i got his name from angie's list. other companies i have used or talked to offered a discount.

After trying for several days to re-light the pilot lights in my two gas log fireplaces, and following (I thought) the directions from the internet perfectly--with no success--I called White Knight Plumbing from Angie's List, primarily because of proximity to my address. James Walton, the owner, answered my call and told me he could be at my home by noon (blizzard expected around 3 p.m.). He arrived shortly after 11:00 a.m., quickly remedied the problems, and showed me how to repeat the procedure in the future. He was pleasant and professional, and I would certainly call him again for any plumbing problem. When he presented his bill for $30 I was amazed (and told him so). He replied that my house was actually on his way to another appointment, and he was glad he could be of service. As a 77-year-old, I appreciated his service and his attitude!

My experience with them was very good and I would use their services in the future too.
