I wasn't the person here but I know my wife said it got done and she was happy. We will use them again. They got to stick around our furnace.

I usually have Mountainwest Service Experts inspect my furnace in the Fall and A/C in the Summer, so I'm familiar with this company's expertise and have written a prior review on this service. This Fall during the furnace inspection the technician inspected the tube exchanger internally and noticed small hairline cracks along the welded seams along with rust starting to settle into the crevices. He then noticed a small odor of gas coming from the tubes. Now, having worked in a gas processing plant for better than 20 years in Wyoming I took these issues very seriously. I did have him sniff the tubes to verify the leaking issue. He did not have a problem because I think he was just as interested in verifying the leak as I was. Rather than replace the costly pilot valve I asked what a new furnace would cost. At about that time the hot water heater kicked on while my wife was doing laundry and it sounded terrible, obviously completely covering the heating coils with sediment. So, now I'm looking at replacing a hot water heater. He could not give me any prices, but scheduled someone to come to the house that afternoon to go over replacing the furnace and hot water heater. The sales consultant, Dennis Brock, came to the house and after looking at a couple of options and going for the highly rated Variable Speed Lennox furnace and Rheem hot water heater, I then asked what if we just replace the A/C while we were at it. This was all 21 year old equipment so it was ready to upgrade. Dennis gave me what I thought was very competitive for what I consider the highest rated brands on the market today. A week later they came to the house and replaced everything discussed. The technicians took utmost care in protecting the flooring and putting drop cloths down on the carpet and stairs. It took a day and a half to completer. They did a very good job on installing and cleaning up afterwards. They were polite and very professional and punctual. They did call and let us know when they were on their way. They fired everything up and worked flawlessly. What I did appreciate is Dennis came by the house a couple of days later to follow-up with us personally to see how we felt about how the installation went, the technicians and if we had any concerns about the service or operation of the equipment. He answered a couple of questions about the rebates I had and assured me Mountainwest would handle getting our rebates delivered, and if not, to give him a call. I can't say more how professional this company is please we are in having them do our installation. Quality company.

We used this company for about 10 years now. They are very honest and provide an amazing service. Yes, we have recommended and will continue to recommend this company. Thank you for so many years of fantastic service!

Christian arrived to the house on time and found the issue with the condensate pump relatively quickly. He was great about letting me watch him work so that I could learn what was going on for myself. He went out to get a new pump, returned and installed it quickly. He then tested it to make sure everything worked properly.

Kim did a great job all around. A couple of the repairs took a lot of effort. He explained what was broken and why, also how to avoid some of the problems in future. He also left me the information on how to get a free replacement cartridge from Moen if this one breaks. The only problem was that the appointment was scheduled to start between 10 AM & noon, but he wasn't able to get there until 3:00. The office called at noon to let me know that an earlier appointment was taking much longer than expected and that he'd be there by 2:00. Since I was planning to be around the house all that day anyway, it wasn't a huge inconvenience, but might have been on another day. I've always been happy with the work this company has done replacing and maintaining my furnace, and I am also pleased with how the plumbing repairs went.

Mike called to ask if he could show up about 10 minutes early and did. The work was done efficiently and the area was kept clean throughout. All of the work was done within about 1 hour.

The technician was prompt and efficient. Great service and quick diagnostic. Didn't try to sell me things I didn't want or need.

The service tech arrived and was professional and polite. I showed him the A/C unit. The fan was not running on a 90 F degree day. He quickly discovered the motor capacitor to be bad and replaced it with one from his truck. He had it back together in just a few minutes. He then went downstairs to do a quick visual inspection of the furnace unit. He then prepared the bill. I paid for the service call and then he left. I checked the new capacitor to match it with online sources. He charged me $160 for a part that can be bought for $12.00 to $15.00 online. I also paid a $75.00 service fee, which is fine. TOTAL BILL FOR THIS SERVICE $235.00. I also purchased a one year service plan for $168.00, which, on its own would be ok. But now I do not like the markup on the parts that they sell and will demand an adjustment for the part and cancellation of the service agreement.

They responded within 30 minutes of calling, even though it was after 5pm. The tech was very nice. Did fast, excellent work at a great price. They were excellent.

I think their technicians are really very capable. I feel like they are expensive for just even showing up for a service call at this time are exorbitant compared to the competition. We had to replace three water heaters in our town houses in the last six months. Their cost was like $1300 while I was able to find local providers who did it for eight. I just feel like their cost had gotten out of hand. They were way too expensive. The guys are very talented and they have performed work for me for the last eight years. I think their service team is very very good and very experienced. But I think they are charging too much for just coming out. I think they are losing track of the bottom line consumer. They are always very professional. I really like their technicians.

Our AC wasn't cooling the house and was constantly freezing up. I did all the standard checks, but it still wasn't working. The string of hot days without decent cooling was taking it's toll. Unfortunately, I waited until it was intolerable to call, and was told that they were backed up almost a week. Sadly, I said thanks after giving them my information, and hung up. Within 4 hours, they called me back and said they had a cancellation, and would be to my house in 30 minutes. What a huge relief. Sean the technician was able to see that the refrigerant was low, and that there may have been a leak around a fitting causing too low of a pressure. So, he filled it up, and checked and tightened the fittings. The new, colder air was immediately apparent, and we slept comfortably for the first time in awhile last night. And, when we woke up this morning, the temperature inside the house was what the thermostat was set at for a first time in awhile. Sean was very professional, and the process was as painless as could be expected.

Everything went very well, and technician went to extra lengths to adjust humidification unit. One solenoid had to be replaced, and the price seemed reasonable.

Prompt, clean, helpful, thorough, good communication.

I bought a deal on Angie's list for $69 and when they arrived they said the one I purchased was not the correct faucet. I had already paid for it so I went ahead and had them install the right one. It was 2-1/2 times the original price. The installers were great. Friendly, efficient and clean.

They had a special going for spring tune ups. Were still able to get me scheduled on the day that I requested. Tech showed up on time, with all the right equipment and did a through job. Took his time, answered all my questions and left the job sites (a/c outside and heater blower inside) clean when finished. This is the third year in a row I've used these guys for spring A/C and fall Heater. I am signing up for their scheduled maintenance program.

Professional , I couldnt be more pleased ! and it looks good , I had been buying the small humidifiers at 40 bucks each , they would last a month or a month and a half , two at the most before they quit working , now I have a permanent one that is permanently affixed to the furnace and only requires a filter change yearly ! Justin Higgins was the installer , I will recomend his work to anyone .

I had this company install a more efficient furnace that I left a review about prior. The furnace is not designed to be in a small area like I have. The furnace started to over heating because it did not have the proper venting systems. He had to come back out to cut a whole where the air comes through to put a vent in to allow the air to circulate currently. This prevents it from over heating and to make it run correctly. So far this company has come back on 4 different occasions to fix problems from the initial installation. They informed me if they had to come out again there will be extra costs. I feel like they suggested this high efficient furnace to take advantage of me because it turned out to be a furnace that was not appropriate to my apartment size, which is a small area.The technician that came to fix this problem also agreed that I had the wrong furnace for my area size. The technician was very helpful and accommodating.

This installation was to happen right after my countertop was installed. Mike the plumber was in contact with me throught the day and as soon as the countertop had been installed he was here to install the garbage disposal. He helped me with a couple of other things at the time too. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. After the old cast iron countertop came off, I could see there was going to be problem with the water pipes location for the install of the counter. I called him and he asked me to text him a photo and then told me what needed to be done to fix the situation. Great plumber.

I purchased the deal. However, they don't provide the service that I need.

There were call backs to complete installation. The evaporative cooler system was poorly engineered. The flow of cool air is uneven throughout the house but there is no way to balance the air flow. The new furnace does not heat evenly, runs too often, noisy operation,and appears to be more costly to operate. The really liked my sales person Mike Tucker.

Right from the start, the team at Service Experts (formerly Mountainwest) were one of the few HVAC companies that bothered to perform a thorough assessment of our home. Our home is very old for the area, with mostly single pane glass, and an atypical design which really did warrant additional examination. Despite changing from Mountainwest to Service Experts, they honored their estimate - with no attempt to up-sell. Their quote was competitive. Not the cheapest, but given the effort they put into the design process, it gave me confidence that they had anticipated challenges on the install, and wanted to do the job right. When the job started, it was a crew of 2-3 men (depending on the part of the installation) - and they didn't cut a corner. They consulted me at every step, they were punctual, and they cleaned up after themselves. It was a breath of fresh air after dealing with other contractors in the past. On the second day, I saw their progress in the afternoon and assumed they would be back for a 3rd day. I was astonished when I returned from a Friday night out to dinner to find them still working, putting the finishing touches on the installation. The work was so impressive, my neighbors all poked their heads in to see it. I think Service Experts just won over our entire street. I wouldn't hesitate to contactthem again.

They are great. I have used them for ten years now.They are prompt, professional and pleasant. They are cost effective.

It went great. They replaced my furnace a couple years ago and did a great job.

It turned out just fair. I had a little bit of a hassle with their office on a few things. When I made the appointment, I asked for them to come and not only do the inspection that was part of the deal that I purchased on Angie's List, but to plan on looking at some other things and make sure they were aware of that. But when they sent somebody out, they did not have the right person that could do the other work. So I had to make another appointment. They charged me again for the check up, even though I had paid for it with the deal. It took me probably four months or more to get the money refunded back. Then I got a notice from them that I owed them that money when I was still trying to get it back from them. They had sent me to a collection agent. When I called and asked them about it, they said, "Well, we really haven't sent it to collection." But I got a couple of letters from the collection agent. When the guys came back to actually work on the humidifier system that I had a problem with, they didn't really fix the fundamental problem. In part that may have been limited by the system I had. I'm not really complaining too much about the service they gave me. I'm complaining more about their office staff. The office staff apparently didn't get all the notes right to make sure they had somebody that could do both things at once. I knew that would be an extra charge too, but I had to make a second appointment to get the other work done. They have the expertise to do a good job from the technical standpoint. I would just make sure that when you deal with their staff that you double check to make sure everything is clear. I don't know if they're under staffed or if they're just incompetent. I was not happy with their office staff. I would rate their professionalism a 'C' because of their office staff and not because of the technicians.
