We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out very well. They came in and did a great job. Infact I had them do some other work and they did a great job on that. I was very happy, no complaints. I have their sticker on my furnace, and they are who I call. I call them every fall for a check up. Their price for the check up is reasonable, they come and check it, oil it, and do all that. They are all radio controlled and pretty sleek. They are always right on time.

I was very pleased. It was easy to schedule the visit and the technician arrived exactly when they said they would be there. He was extremely pleasant and helpful, answered all of my questions, and appeared to do a thorough job. Everything was judged to be fine, and there was no attempt to sell me additional unneeded services. There is not much else to say. I was very satisfied, and would certainly use this provider again if I needed work done on either my air conditioning or heating.

As scheduled. All systems have been working properly. They came to adjust once, with no cost extra.

We have a two-zone heating and AC system which seems to require a special skill set. The first technician called in a more experienced co-worker for a second opinion on what was causing our problem. I felt this was much better than not admitting they needed another opinion to resolve the problem.

I used them for the first time in 2011. Both times they were on time. My furnace is in a crawl space under the house, and they went in there with no complaints. They're prices were fair and I will continue to use them.

I needed to replace a 60+ year old furnace in a rental property and based largely on the positive reviews on Angie's List for Mountainwest, I called them to get an estimate. Brad showed up as scheduled on May 24, 2013. I own a number of rental properties and have been using a "one man" operation for HVAC maint. and repairs. I told this guy about my need for a furnace replacement at the property in question and he told me he would be interested in giving me a bid on the job. I didn't set up a specific appt. with this guy and he happened to show up while Brad from Mountainwest was there. It was obvious that we knew each other and at one point Brad said something like "is the only reason I'm here to keep this guy honest?" I explained to Brad that I was not the sole owner of this particular property and that for a project of this size we wold be getting three bids and would base our selection on the combination of price and quality of the new furnace that would be installed. He went ahead and obtained what I assumed was the necessary info. to complete an estimate and we agreed he'd send it via email. May 24th was the Friday before the Memorial holiday weekend so I didn't expect to receive anything until the latter part of the following week however, by approx. June 4, I still hadn't received anything so I started calling the co. I had two or three follow up conversations with Brad during which he'd apologize and promise to get the estimate to me, which never happened. Not only was it a waste of my time to meet him on the property but because of Mountainwest's lack of follow through, I then had to get additional bids. As it turned out, the guy I knew who has done HVAC repair and maintenance work for me, said the job was too big for one man and he wasn't interested. I ended up using Affordable Heating and Cooling and had a very positive experience with them (provided a separate review).

Explained problem with water heater (obvious because it was leaking!). He also did work to bring our system up to code in our 40 yr old home. Took care of the whole problem in 1 day which was done in very tight space while having to add additional things in little room. Would highly recommend and use them again.

The service was fine. There wasn't anything bad about the experience.

They did an excellent job. It was just fine. They showed up, they looked at it and they said it was OK. There were no extra charges that I know, but my memory is not what it used to be. It's been a while, but I'm sure they were here when they were supposed to be. They got here, they did the job and what they were supposed to do.

Brandyn Thackeray arrived right on time, very early Monday morning. He installed the valve quickly. He was thorough, very professional , and took the time to offer insight on other plumbing questions I asked him about. I would refer him to anyone.

I think, as far as I know, there weren't any problems with it.

Mountainwest Heating, Air Conditioning, & Plumbing was professional and they did everything that they said they were going to do with it so we were happy with their service.

the service was not performed. (as stated above), the service man wanted more money over the price of the coupon. The service man admitted that there was no mention of an extra charge but wanted sixty five dollars more anyway.

James was the serviceman who performed the annual A/C inspection. He was very courteous, thorough and knowledgeable. He found the unit to be in good working order and gave me a thorough walk-through of what he did. I asked him for a favor, which was to re-tape the condenser line and he did complete the task. Again, he was very polite during the visit. I thought the price was fair. The only thing he tried to sell me on was the Fall and Spring heating and A/C inspection promotion going on, which I will probably take them up on since I like their work and pricing.

Was on time. He replaced my disposal which was worn out. He gave me options. He also fixed a problem so my sink drained better.

Prompt, professional, and helpful.

For a couple of days, we heard the sound of water running constantly, only to find out later that our hot water heater was the culprit and wasleaking water on our basement floor! I called a couple of plumbers, some of whom gave me a quote that, even for someone with no experience, was way too high! I found MountainWest Home Services on Angie's List and thought I would give them a try. Not only were they punctual, they were extremely knowledgeable about their trade and were willing to teach me as much as I was willing to learn. I had a great experience with the 2 people I worked with. I will definitely be using their services again!

The guy who came was very nice and professional. He cleaned the furnace and the filter. He made sure that everything was okay. All in all, it was a very nice experience. He was pretty prompt.

EXCELLENT. On time, efficient, quality work. Also provided tips on how to spot any future problems. Jared was very easy and pleasant to work with!

Very very painful as a customer.

There was a question about the brand quoted, which was quickly resolved and everything was nicely installed and the area cleaned up nicely. The "B" on price reflects the apparent fact that, perhaps a lower price might have been available, but we got good value for this installation. We had to have the furnace placed on our previous home in Ohio last fall.
