called and told them we had no heat and were afraid to turn on due to chance of damage to furnace . called at 930am came out at 11 am had it repaired in 2 hrs and we had heat stayed and made sure it worked as expected. Jim also completely cked out every thing at the time while it was torn apart we are very happy with mt west this was our second time using them and both times were great

Everything went very well. They were right on time and I was very pleased with the service. I paid for an extra hours effort for another project. He was able to do it for me right then rather than come back later. I really appreciated it.

I am satisfied with the resolution, if they would have asked the brand of water softener prior to coming to my home or even told me when the repairman came that they couldn't repair it, the problem could have easily been diverted.

Called Mountainwest at 8am based on Angie's list score because we had no heat. A tech arrived about 10am and diagnosed issue with the boiler. Because we had the spare part, the issue was resolved quickly. The tech (sorry, I can't remember his name - he was awesome, though) was thorough and went through troubleshooting step-by-step, something my engineer husband appreciates very much, but doesn't expect - he thought they'd just tell us we needed a new boiler. He replaced the problem part and was done within an hour. Outstanding!!!

They showed up on time and they did a good job.

I have had no complaints on the system. I did think the cost was pricey but they did handle the service well. I have not received a receipt yet. I was not present for the service. There was confusion as I gave them information about the tenant at the property and they did not call the tenant and follow up on the initial instructions. I do appreciate that once that was taken care of they went there quickly. I did feel they were rushing the repair and they made it seem they would not be able to do the work for a while if I chose to think about the repairs. They would not be my first choice in the future but I would consider using them if needed.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. It was good service and they arrived promptly. It was a good deal and the service was very fair. They were on time and very professional.

I'm a new homeowner and have had to use several contractors to update my 1920's home. In all honesty this company was one of the worst I've had to deal with. I will not be using them in the future. I suggest looking elsewhere. The only good part about this company is Aladdin their plumbing technician who offered to come help me free of charge on a Saturday (his day off). I didn't take him up on his offer but I thought he was incredibly generous and kind to offer it!

The plumber called me during my workday to see if I could have him come early. I said, "No, the earliest I can meet you is 4:00." He pressed, but I had a meeting, and was not available until 4:00, and to tell the truth, I thought it was the customer who drove that train. I am not responsible for his schedule. When I pulled into my driveway at 3:45, hoping to feed dogs and vacuum, he was sitting there. He came to the door at 4:50. He was pretty rude. The toilet tune-up consisted of the replacement of the flap valve. It took him 5 minutes. I also needed to have the guts replaced, which I had stated in my appointment. I was told that I owed him $88 more dollars to do that, because my toilet tune-up did not include it. What, pray tell, are they tuning up? This is hardly a Formula I racecar, after all. He spent less than 30 minutes at my house. The repair job was intermittently unsuccessful, so another man came back to fix it. It's not a great repair. The toilet works, but I have to hold the handle down when I flush.

The original evaporative unit, installed in the crawl space under the house with the new furnace in 2004, had corroded and needed to be replaced again. We opted for the new unit which is much more efficient and will be easier to maintain as it is in the same room as the furnace.

As always, I'm happy with Mountainwest's service. It was easy to schedule a convenient time, and James the technician was prompt and knowledgeable. There was no problem using the coupon I'd received in the mail.

Great technician came and cleaned and checked our furnace. He was very professional with a great sense of humor too which made the call even better. Answered all our questions. Great job.

I had mixed feelings about it because he charged me sixty five dollars to remove the old humidifier. Since it only took two bolts to remove it, I felt that this was kind of unfair. I had compared with another company here in Salt Lake and without adding that extra sixty five dollars on I thought that this was competitive. Initially I thought this was a great deal and went with them. However they did do the installation, and the unit has been fine and I did have them come back one other time to do general servicing, I think it was my a/c check and that was fine too. Its just one of those things, I kind of felt like it was being switched but on the other hand the actual work has being fine and they do have me on their mailing list. They send me coupons and all of that kind of stuff. This was probably a year ago, they came in and solved it for me right away. I had a different one that had broken down and wasn't having any satisfaction from the manufacturers with regards to replacing it. So I finally gave up and decided to buy a new one. The only disappointment was the extra cost. The first guy was not particularly personable and I am a people person, the second guy was very nice. However they did do the job.

Scheduling worked out well, they got me an appointment quickly. The service was good and they did a fine job keeping the house clean. They did what they said they were going to do. I had no complaints with the service.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they were awesome. I would give them five stars, two thumbs up. They were recommended by Angie's List, that gave me confidence right there. They were really efficient and came out when they said they were going to come out. They were clean and stuck exactly to the price. I did not feel like they were trying to upsell. They did tell me some things that needed to be done, but gave me the choice of doing them or not and there was not any pressure so I really liked that. I was really pleased that they could have my air ducts cleaned so quickly. We had to set our schedule back because of a customer emergency. They kept in touch with me and we set a different day so they were professional that way.

He did a great job. Even went the extra mile to move a pipe that was previously installed incorrectly at no charge. We were very impressed.

All went well, dates of service were: Plumbing on 12-13-13 & furnace on 12-16-13. As I remember, I have previously filled this form out.

Basic maintenance. They were punctual and quick. I'll use them again.

It was fine, it was dandy. They came and did what they were supposed to do. They were very nice. It was a positive experience. I paid an additional amount for the furnace cleaning service. They both did great.

Our furnace wasn't working this morning, and we called Mountainwest because they were open on a Saturday. Our service technician was Jared, and he was fantastic. He let us know when he would arrive, and he came on time. He was very helpful and explained our furnace's problem to us. He didn't overcharge. He went the extra mile by putting an extension on our intake pipe, and tied zipties around some cords in our furnace.

Mountainwest heating performed a yearly tune-up on our furnace in a home we recently purchased. They technician that was sent out was very professional and was more than willing to answer any questions I had regarding furnaces. He even went out of his way to tell me about some additional appliances the previous homeowner installed, and actually fixed one of the units. Will have MW heating out in the spring to service our air conditioner and again next fall for winter service. Thanks.

Mtn West failed to return my call twice. The person who answered the phone could not provide me any estimates to repair or replace a water heater. He did not even know labor costs. Called nine other plumbers on Angie's List, all of whom could answer my questions.
