Description of Work: We had a flood in our basement. They showed up in the middle of the night. And cleaned our carpets | | It went well. But the car but looked really dirty and I don't think they cleaned very well. So I called and they came back and cleaned up afterwards

Description of Work: A car ran through our back fence. They took away the damaged fence, rebuilt and stained the new section as well as stained the full length of fence along that side of the yard, stabilized patio pavers and put new decorative stone along the edge of the patio.

Description of Work: Working with UDK on our water-damaged bathroom was great. We'd never had water damage before and we did not know what to do. UDK was very thorough in explaining the process of removing the ruined parts, working with insurance and installing the new flooring, wax ring, etc. Keith Bird was incredibly professional and helpful. He gave us an estimate and was right on target. We are pleased to work with them and will call them in the future.

Description of Work: we had a flood in our basement. they came out right away and pulled out the carpet and disinfected it. very nice especially at 2 AM! There was a little hiccup in the service but i called them about it. the estimator came right out and fixed the hiccup and it looks great. I appreciate their willingness to go the extra mile in such a stressful situation.

Description of Work: UDK did asbestos abatement in my basement primarily on ductwork. This had to be done prior to ductwork replacement by Manwill Plumbing and Heating. UDK made it easy to coordinate the timing of this, scheduling their work the day before Manwill was to begin. They also promptly followed up on a problem I called about, resolving it that day. Finally, they were honest and took $200.00 off the estimated charge since the job took fewer man hours than was initially estimated.

Naomi was prompt (early) professional and detailed in her assessment. We were very pleased with Naomi's advice. |We have previously utilized UDK for clean up of a flood at our home and had equal success. Description of Work: Found a "positive" petri dish on a home mold-spore test so called UDK (high marks on Angie's List). Spoke with Keith Bird who spent about 45 mintues educating me about mold, what to look for, etc. In fact, he referred me to an air quality specialist to confirm whether or not I actually have a problem, as home petri-dish tests are not very good indicators of a mold infestation (as mold is so prevalent in the air) and because no visible mold has been identified. VERY professional. VERY knowledgeable and VERY nice guy. Keith's advice probably saved me hundreds of dollars on less than value-added steps, etc. Hopefully I don't have a mold problem, but if I do, you'd better bet I'm using Keith and UDK. Thanks...

+ -1 moreThey were very professional, responsive and cooperative. They kept their work area cleaner than the rest of the house was, much to my embarrassment. They had re-textured and painted the entire bedroom ceiling exactly to match the adjacent work. The carpet they laid coordinated very nicely with the paint scheme. The one negative aspect of their work is that we had to listen to our daughter gloat for the rest of that summer.
Description of Work: This was covered by our insurance. The water supply to our evaporative cooler ruptured and sprayed water over my daughter's bedroom and it poured down past the light fixture onto the floor. UDK replaced the damaged insulation, damaged portion of the ceiling and re-carpeted the bedroom. I wanted to replace the light fixture with something better than the insurance company would pay for so UDK simply deducted the cost of the light from their original estimate.

Utah Disaster Kleenup actually arrived 5 minutes early to help me with my mold issue. I wasn't used to that sort of punctuality from a service provider but it set the tone for my entire experience. The two technicians quickly brought in the equipment required, sealed off the area, removed dry-wall from damaged areas, and abated the mold. They then left the air-cleaner running to remove any mold that may still be in the air. Afterward they explained how bad it was (not very bad in this case... but you never know until the area is opened up) and what they had done as part of their process. They were very professional and allayed any fears I had. Finally, I needed a written report prepared to go to my mortgage company to state the problem had been addressed. Mike, our estimator, went above and beyond and delivered a report the next day describing what had been done to treat the problem. All in all it was a great experience and I would recommend them for treating mold issues.

Company came same day, removed file cabinets, furniture, and carpet pad, and treated walls and floor with product to prevent mold and set up fans for drying. Next day tested for moisture, kept fans on. 3rd day fans removed, file cabinets and furniture replaced. 2 different crews were used. All of them were pleasant, professional and used extreme care as requested. Price was reasonable and as expected.
Description of Work: Washing machine overflowed, water poured down behind wall and into a home office.

+ 1 moreI WOULD RECOMMEND THEM FOR OTHERS, BUT MAKE SURE A WRITTEN AGREEMENT IS IN PLACE. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, BUT RATES WERE DIFFERENT ONCE THE WORK WAS DONE FROM THE ORIGINAL AGREEMENT.
Description of Work: THEY CLEANED UP SMOKE DAMAGE AND REPAINTED WALLS. THEY LAID CARPETING AND NEW FLOORING. THEY DID SOME DRAPERY CLEANING AND RESTORED ANYTHING THAT COULD BE SALVAGED. ALSO DID AN OZONE TREATMENT.
