I am incredibly impressed with the high quality work UDK has done in our home and the professionalism exhibited by their employees. Russel has come out to our home several times and each time we are even more impressed with his work. Russell is always willing to answer any questions I have and walk me through the clean up and remediation process. I have appreciated his attention to detail and cheerful attitude. We are so grateful for the work he has done in our home and would highly recommend Utah Disaster Kleenup to anyone in need of their services!

Russell was very professional, took the time to explain exactly what he was doing, and showed me the damage. He also did a great job cleaning up. Very happy with his communication, work and friendliness.

Russell was absolutely incredible for helping us with mold remediation. He was able to skillfully remove the affected spaces, identify what was causing the issue with a very weird situation, and give us next steps to prevent and fix it moving forward. He also went out of his way to help us wrap my wedding dress, which had been affected, in plastic so we could safely transport it to the cleaner. He worked very safely and effectively to preserve as much as possible and ensure as little spores or dust was spread while he worked. He also made very clean and precise cuts, which will make repair work so much easier. He was incredibly polite and professional, and worked very quickly. He also had the brilliant idea of reserving pieces of our wall, floor board, and carpet pad so we can more easily match them when doing the full repairs. He was also able to refer us to a repair company that UDK works with make the repairs. We would highly recommend working with UDK in general, but if you happen to get lucky enough to work with Russell, you're in for a wonderful experience.

We had excellent results from UDK. Very professional and they know their stuff. They saved our hard wood floors that in my opinion were ruined. A special shout out to Nate Mitani and David Blanton. David showed up on Thanksgiving day to check on how thing were going. As far as I'm concerned they went above and beyond to keep things clean during the sheet rock tear out and all of the other stuff that goes along with water damage. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

UDK was out to my house within a couple hours of my call on New Years Day. They kept in contact with me and worked with my insurance company. They called to check with me on how I thought things were going and were very good at addressing any concerns I had with the various aspects of the job. I would highly recommend UDK for anyone in need of such services.

The agent informed us there was not that much mold and told us how to do it our self to save us money

They were prompt and performed work for the most part when they said they would. Took about three weeks to get room finished. They did a very good job at keeping everything clean, cleaning up completely after each event of work they did. The room looks as good as new.

they were very quick to come out to the property, assess the work needed, and get things moving so my tenants could continue to function in the property. Some of the later phases of the work like drywall replacement were a little bit slow to be completed but overall they did an excellent job with a difficult situation.

a. The cleanup was fast and efficient. Every known detail was explained to me during the process. Afterward I was presented a packet that contained information on what to expect from restoration. b. The company e-mailed me almost immediately to offer a bid and timeline for the remaining work. A specific date was set to begin restoration. c. Restoration began on the day and time agreed to. This was the carpenter, who replaced dry-wall, put up new base boards, removed old wallpaper, and painted the room. Quite nicely, I might add. d. The carpet guy showed up on the scheduled day. He was to begin in the morning about 8:30 A.M., but I was notified by phone that he would be later in the day. He showed up at @4:00 P.M., which was fine. He didn't have all the replacement materials he needed due to (according to him) lack of communication. This was minor and not a nuisance to me. e. The carpet was re-laid, repaired (seams), and cleaned. and it looks pretty good for a 35-year old carpet. f. Overall the repair work looks great, and I have no complaints. I especially like the open communication, courtesy, and professionalism of Utah Disaster Kleenup.

American Towers is an urban high rise condominium complex in Salt Lake City. We have been working with UDK for decades and they have always provided amazingly prompt and professional service. The staff is very skilled and experienced in working with insurance adjusters as well as homeowners who sometimes are not happy about the damages they have sustained. UDK always takes excellent care of them and they all turn out very happy. We have never had an experience where insurance adjusters have ever disputed their mitigation or repair estimates or charges. UDK has made the disaster cleanup and repair process as seamless and convenient as possibly imaginable. We are committed customers and recommend them to anyone, large or small.

UDK responded quickly and started the clean up process. They sent Michael Duke as the project manager. Mr. Duke has incredible knowledge of how to run a crew and how to restore damage. UDK saved us thousands of dollars in additional damage due to knowing what to do and reacting quickly. I highly recommend them and especially Michael Duke.

Scott Sims epitomizes the definition of true professionalism. He demonstrated uncommon integrity, knowledge and courtesy in his service to me. I have had a leaking rain gutter that had created some mold growth in my basement. I was especially concerned because I have a young couple with an infant renting my basement. Scott measured the moisture in the area and determined that the moisture had not affected the sheetrock. There was only a minimal amount of mold beginning on the baseboards. He spent time explaining the mold issue to me and suggested ways that I could get rid of the mold myself -- using safety precautions and materials available at Home Depot. I had other restoration services come out to evaluate the problem who estimated clean up of the mold to be over $1,500 -- without even bothering to measure if there was moisture in the walls. Utah Disaster Kleenex saved me thousands of dollars and educated me about the source of mold and how to prevent further damage. THANK YOU. I STRONGLY recommend that if you have mold in your home, call UDK FIRST!

First contact with the estimator Rich of the Ogden office - wonderful. Took measurements and was very professional and personable. Contract signed. Subcontractor didn't show up for the first scheduled work. I either phoned or emailed them and was told the framer didn't tell them he wouldn't show, either, just disappeared. Skip forward a month. New framer comes and does most of the work, but doesn't close up the wall or reconnect the power outlet he disconnected. No contact from UDK. Emailed again and again. About a month later, Rich came out again, this time with a painter who gave his estimate. New framer finished the inside work (minus the outlet - broken and we'll fix that). No further painter contact, even when it passed the date he said he'd be free to start. I was told a lot of the disorganization was because the office manager left. It's been 5 months and the paint is still peeled and now the snow has come. We haven't paid for the work yet because the contract specified payment at completion, but it's still frustrating that it's not done!

Staff was professional and courteous. My house has never been so clean and smoke free.

UDK sent out employees on a Sunday to do the initial assessment and clean-up and to set up a clean air machine. Over the next couple of weeks they cleaned all the smoke and soot damage in our basement from ceiling to floor and cleaned all the clothes and bedding for the bedroom downstairs. Glad they are there to clean-up and the smoke smell is gone!

Naomi responded quickly to look for mold concerns. She provided pictures and a report on her findings. I appreciated her honesty and expertise. I would certainly call on UDK in the future.

Initial response was quick and thorough, however, when it cam time for the subcontractors to begin reconstruction, quality was poor and I was very unsatisfied with the final product. In the future I would find a general contractor to handle the reconstruction.

We made an appointment for a no-cost, Angie's List, inspection and recommendations. Scott Sims showed up precisely on time with all the necessary tools and instruments to examine the problem area (including infrared detector, moisture measurement, and fiberoptic scope to look behind walls. He spent nearly an hour with us, inspecting and explaining as he went. Not only did he inspect the problem area (a flood-prone basement), he inspected the entire outside of our house, making suggestions about how we could improve the drainage and reduce the chance of further flooding. I offered to pay him something (we'd printed out the Angie's list coupon in advance but he declined to accept anything. We were highly satisfied with the inspection, the analysis, and we have a rational plan going forward to mitigate our mold issues. Scott was highly professional and helpful. We'll call UDK first if, God forbid, we have another flood! ;-(

They provided asbestos abatement while removing affected drywall, cleared out damaged drywall and wall studs. Replaced with new studs and drywall. Finished drywall with perfatape and plaster so that wall was ready to be painted. The finished wall was absolutely perfect!!

They do mold remediation the way it needs to be done. I had the problem in one room from a slow leak that went unnoticed. They explained the process, showed up right on time, completed the job exactly as estimated. Removed carpeting and portion of sub-floor where the mold. They cleaned all surfaces thoroughly, removed all bedding and fabric for cleaning. Used plastic barriers to contain the room while using air scrubbers to completely remove mold spores. They completed the work on time. I thought the price was high, however, I did not get other estimates as I was in a hurry to complete this. The price is likely fair for their expertise, maybe I just did to want to pay so much on a personal level.

Services were provided in a timely and professional manner and the quality of workmanship was fully satisfactory.
