Great handyman service from Cransten Handyman and Remodeling! Kody and his coworker were awesome and came right on time and stayed until the job was done. They did a great job in cabinet installation. They were very professional and kind. I highly recommend this company. They will communicate with you and I felt like they were on top of things. We will be using them again for another project.

I made an appointment with them to do the work at noon. 15 minutes before noon one of them called to say that he wasn’t going to show up but that the other one would. The other one never showed up. I called the company office and told them my dilemma and they never followed through or let me know when they would Arrive. I waited all day to get a call from them but I heard nothing. This company I find to be very undependable.

Horrible! They didn't use a drop cloth so paint splatters on hardwood floors and molding, didn't use painter's tape so extensive overpainting of edges, didn't fill in gaps before painting, allowed hand size area of paint to dry on cherry wood cabinet door, chipped a mirror, etc. Like another reviewer, I had to fire Cransten midway through the job because the work was so bad. I also got a similar reply from Cransten about how they would have fixed everything if only they had been allowed to finish. Cransten charges you $60/hour to do a crappy job, then will charge you $30/hour to fix the crappy job. I would avoid this company

Cransten Handyman and Remodeling were amazing! I had a rush job with several remodeling problems in my house and they accomplished every single item professionally and efficiently. Everything looks awesome. They kept in touch with you and lets you know exactly what's going on each day. I would highly recommend them for any job.

Another great job by Dave from his team Cransten Handyman and Remodeling, we had a ceiling leak that had done some damage in our garage they removed all the molded things, took out the damage, replaced insulation, put up new drywall, and painted and all looks great again. I am very satisfied with their work, a very knowledgeable team. I recommend this company for having a professional worker!

Terrible. First, their earliest appointment was three weeks away--not acceptable, but I scheduled the appointment anyway. The day before the appointment, they emailed me to say the man was having vehicle trouble, and I should call to re-schedule. I did, and they said they didn't have an opening for a week, but again, I rescheduled. Three after re-scheduling (A second time), they called and said the man has left the company and it would be at least 3 MONTHS before they could send someone out, because they don't have anyone in our area. They are a national company (based in Utah), and Nashville isn't some tiny out of the way town. How can they not have anyone available for 3 months. This wasn't even the company I initially wanted, but when I licked on the Angie's list phone number for Sullivan Handyman services, it kept dialing Cransten some of the time, and the rest of the time I got a "This number is not in service". So this is a problem with Angie's list as well as Cransten. I never used either before, And I am frankly, quite disappointed

I contacted Cransten Handyman and Remodeling. They suggested Matt, He did an excellent job mounting my TV above my fireplace. He even cleaned up behind themselves! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have a TV installed!

Bobby from Cransten replaced my mailbox post. He was quick, communicative and efficient. He also went above and beyond to keep me apprised of his progress, give me my options, do more than I asked, and clean up when he was finished. I will absolutely hire Cransten again!

Cransten is the greatest. This is the first time I ever mounted a tv on a wall but I can't imagine it would go any better. Steve was very helpful with the process. He was very thorough and courteous. I will use this company again in the near future and you should as well.

Cransten has completely transformed our cactus backyard into a kid-friendly garden with roses, green grass and planter boxes to grow vegetables. They also set-up a sprinkler system on timers and total cost of the project was very reasonable. Their associates are very hardworking and equally nice. They just went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right and on schedule. All in all the experience was excellent. I highly recommend this company

I recently had a wood deck installed and had an outstanding experience. The work was done efficiently on time and with amazing care to detail. Their staff is as professional as they come and very easy to work with. I highly recommend Cransten for any remodeling work needed.

I hired Cransten to remodel my bathroom. It was getting old and in need of an update. They came in, replaced the floor, built a shower pan, and laid custom tile around my shower. I was impressed with how friendly and professional they were. I would definitely hire them again!

Handy man was late. After 10 minutes of waiting, I called the business phone number. I was told the handy man was running 10 minutes behind but the business would text him and have him get in touch with me. After 30 minutes of waiting, the handyman called and said he would not be able to make it and would have to reschedule. At that point I cancelled my service. He was coming from Idaho Falls (which is a 60 minute drive to my house). He could have called when he knew he was not leaving his town on time. I missed 1.5 hours of work that was unnecessary and could have been avoided with a simple phone call. Also, the business asked for a credit card number upfront and I feel this is unprofessional for someone to have my credit card number before they even perform the work. I have them my number because we are in a small community where people trust eachother.

It was awesome, affordable, on time, good value and did an excellent job.

I hired Cransten to install a lawn in my backyard. The staff did a great job! Jonathan worked with me to pick the best type of grass, he went to the nursery to check it out and reported back to me. He was very professional, quick, and courteous. Very nice to work with and I'd recommend this company. A thumbs up to Cransten Handyman!

The first man that was sent out said he could do it in six days. He was slow and sloppy. Corners were not 90 degrees. There were dips and curves in the frame. Instead of pulling back the carpet, so it could be cut to fit what was done, he just cut the carpet, so our carpet is ruined. There is a 2 inch gap around where the hearth is sitting. The company did not send him out every day. After 2 weeks but only 10 hours of work, he was assigned elsewhere for two months. Because we complained, the company sent out a different man every few days. We would get one day a week on good weeks. We had to call and beg for someone to come finish the job. Each man had to take hours just to figure out what needed to be done next. And since most of them could only spend an hour or two a day, many visits were made where nothing was done, weeks went by. The sheet rock was put up in a terrible manner. Lines are not straight, there were so many seams that the face of it looks like my 3 year old grandson did it. They NEVER covered anything up, not the carpet or furniture. They never masked when they painted. There is over paint on the ceiling and walls And plaster on the windows that should not be there and paint on the carpet. After 2 months we told them to go away, we'd find someone else. This has got to be the WORST company.

Showed up to look at the job and then never heard from him again

Went great. They were very responsive, showed up on time, were clear about the work, and did a swell job. Would certainly hire them again, and have already spoken to them about doing a much bigger project for us.

Steve miller showed up on time, was very professional and solved my problem in a very few minutes. In addition he offered to do something extra since he had his ladder out already. I would hire him again with no hesitation

it went well He (Will) was right on time he kept me up to date on everything that he was doing. he was very efficient with his time and worked fast but made sure all his cuts and angles were very precise. Will made sure to clean up after he was done completing each project and was very respectful of my personal belongings. I would recommend Will to anyone and YES I would hire him again to work in my home!
