Description of Work: We have used Preventive for years. Their service is streamlined and very easy - they just show up, spray outside around the foundation, and leave a bill. They will spray inside if needed, but outside seems to get the job done for us.

Description of Work: I have been using Preventive Pest Control for about five years. They treat the house quarterly for spiders,etc with a non-toxic (to pets, children) spray. They generally treat the outside only but always offer to treat the inside at no charge if I see any unwanted creatures. On their most recent visit they also treated an area for wasps. They are excellent.

Description of Work: They came to my home selling door to door so I thought I would give them a try. I told them I had a really bad vole problem and they said they could take care of it. On roughly their 3rd time spraying I asked why I was still seeing the voles and they said they weren't even treating for them. So they ended up putting a vole trap down but it was in the fall and they were supposed to be treating for them since Spring. And I'm not sure if it affects it or not but they sprayed when it was raining and that doesn't seem like it would be affective. I also didn't really see a big difference in bugs.

[Member name removed] we are sorry that you didn't have the experience we expect our clients to have with our service. 2012 was the last year we used door to door salesman for the fact that we always had communication errors between the salesman and our office staff. They would promise things to the customer and never put notes for us on the agreements. We should have been treating for your voles earlier and not had you wait 5 months after you started. As far as the rain is concerned the product we use is micro encapsulated, so like a capsule on a pill, it is protected from rain, sprinklers, snow and the weather. We are able to apply it around the base of homes and it will stay for up to 3 months. The service is also guaranteed so if you had any issues between treatments or just wanted it sprayed again because of the concern with the rain, we would come back for free. We wish you the best in the future and if you needed anything from us, we would give you a free treatment to make up for the mistakes we had in 2012. Description of Work: They provided two separate services for me. One is their lawn care, which includes four fertilizing events from March to October. This is the 3rd year I have used them. They did a terrific job the first year, and only so-so the last two. |The other service was the pest control. They did a great job and have been amenable to my schedule, trying to make sure I was present when they had to do interior spraying. Following two troubling incidents with carpet beetles, they responded quickly. |One thing they did not do was find some lawn bugs in my lawn which were killing it. Another pest control agency pointed them out to me (Moxie). |

They are very good. We have kids and dogs and they are very careful around them. They are always on time. If they can not come out, they will call ahead of time.

It's been pretty good. I would recommend them to family and friends. They keep most of the rodents out of our house. They clean up after themselves. They are courteous and polite.
