I called Mr. Hunt on a Tuesday night. He wasn't able to come out that night but he did ask me some questions over the phone and gave me an idea of what might be happening. After our discussion, I decided to risk another day of a "cool" not cold refrigerator and we set up an appointment for 8:00 p.m. the next night. Mr. Hunt arrived promptly and without delay and started to work. Turns out that refrigerator was working properly when he arrived. I decided to allow him to run tests in order to make sure it wouldn't do the same thing again. Turns out, all of my trouble was probably because the refrigerator door was left ajar a tiny fraction so that no one would notice it was open. He did leave me with a list of things to do for the next few days, which I did. I am pleased with the price of the service charge, Mr. Hunt's professionalism and willingness to add me to a what was probably an already long day. I will use his services again.

Mr. Hunt agreed to come to my home in west (near central) Fort Worth, although he normally limits Tarrant County calls to the eastern areas, as he comes from Wylie. So I was grateful to him from the start! Mr. Hunt checked out my very noisy refrigerator and explained in detail why it could not be repaired. He made the adjustments he could, which did quiet things down "for who knows how long, but not forever ." Then Mr. Hunt checked out my oven which, though manufactured in the 80's, was in great shape except it didn't work. He determined that I needed a new ignitor and said he would look for the part and get back to me. I asked Mr. Hunt to put my new steel-braided hoses on the washer, and to check my dishwasher to see if it was safe to use as I had not used it for a long time. He was very generous in offering information as he went about these tasks. Mr. Hunt did indeed follow through with information on the oven ignitor, ordered it, and returned to install it. Also, I asked if he had suggestions for a replacement refrigerator which would fit in my limited space and , once again, Mr. Hunt went above and beyond. He researched and found a make and model he recommended. Mr. Hunt is a man of integrity. I feel secure in knowing he will be fair in price and will do all he can to solve the problem. He is very knowledgeable, with years of great experience working for himself and for large appliance companies. Further, he cares about his clients and their appliances. I'm thankful to Angie's List for leading me to Mr.Hunt.

After thoroughly examining the washer and testing all possibilities it was concluded that the damage would be cost prohibitive to repair. He spent over an hour testing all options, making sure that it was the correct diagnosis. He was extremely thorough and very professional and knowledgeable. Displaying a rare quality in service technicians nowadays which is having the customer understand the process to repair it, what caused the problem and most of all having the customer well informed of the cost of repairing it versus a new purchase. Then when the decision was made to purchase a new one, he offered insights of what to look for according to our needs thus giving us the necessary knowledge to ask the right questions in making the right purchase. We would highly recommend him.

I called Randy on a Saturday and he returned my Monday as I had indicated it was not an emergency. He offered to come out on Monday at the end of the day but we settled on Wednesday instead as that was a better time for both of us. Randy was within the time box of the appointment, he worked quickly. Told me exactly what was wrong and what was needed to fix the problem. Explained in detail the billing.

Randy returned calls quickly, came on time and did a great job. My dryer was making a terrible noise and Randy fit me in on a Saturday afternoon, which happened to be New Year's Eve. I appreciated that. It turned out that the noise was just a loose screw and Randy was only going to charge me for the service call, but he noticed a couple of other problems with the dryer that I hadn't known about. One was a safety issue that he quickly fixed and did not charge extra for. The other was that one of the heating elements was burned out. I hadn't known and thought my dryer was taking a long time to dry clothes because it's old. Randy gave me several alternatives for replacing it -- I could replace just one small part (cheapest), a bigger part (more expensive but recommended by the manufacturer), or buy a used dryer from him for a good price and with a warranty. I chose the cheapest option. He had to order the part and installed after it came in. I feel like I got a new dryer. Thedryer works much better now, the awful noise is gone, and a less bothersome noise that I had been ignoring for a couple of years is gone, too. Randy also noticed that my dishwasher hadn't been installed properly. It would tilt forward a little when the door was opened and it stuck out further than it should have from its under-the-counter space. I had been told by the installer that that was the only way they could get the dishwaher in its space, but Randy fixed it. It looks better and doesn't tilt back and forth. I had thought of the tilting as just a minor inconvenience, but Randy pointed out that the pipes running into the dishwasher were designed to be stationary and that the movement could cause problems. Made sense to me and it wasn't expensive to fix. I highly recommend Randy!

I called on Tuesday afternoon, and he was there Tuesday night,. he fixed the problem within an hour and gave me a reassonable price. Randy was awesome, friendly and very professional. I will definitly call him again. Eddie

He was on time, did a great job and the repair was completed in just a few minutes. Excellent work.

Called Randy because of the great reviews he has gotten in Angie's. He fit me into his schedule on a Friday. He explained why the thermal fuse had blown and the connector was crushed. Said I need to have the vent redone so it's directly behind my dryer. Right now the dryer is a slightly larger than the space it's in and to be able to go out the door into the garage I have to push it in to the wall. This crushes the vent connector and also blows out the fuse. He gave me the name of a company that I can call to repair this. While he was here I told him I had a problem with my refrigerator. The icemaker works but can no longer get it from the door. He looked at it and said he didn't have the part on his truck, but he could come back next week and repair it. He will not bill travel fee will charge it as a 2nd appliance repair. I also asked about my LG dishwasher leaking and told him have had problems with Premier Appliance who has come out several times to repair it and it is still leaking. He does not service LG but gave me a ph# of another company which does and has trained technicians for this brand. Randy goes over and above what most repairmen do! He is honest, efficient, reasonably priced and very informative. I will be using him in the future and referring him to friends.

Randy showed up on time and got right to work. He figured out the problem quickly and had the parts on hand to complete the repair. He gave me a lot of good advice on how to get the best performance out of my dishwasher and even suggested the best products to use. He also fixed the kickplate that had never been properly attached by the installers due to the height of my floor tile, but Randy figured out a way to get it attached. I was very impressed overall and intend to use Randy for future appliance repair needs.

I called Randy concerning repairs to our leaking dishwasher. Over the phone he checked the model/serial number and found that a recall was in effect for our dishwasher. He set up a visit from the manufacturers rep for us and advised me on what options they would offer....he did this all without any charge! The leak problem was resolved during the rep's visit....a misfiting dishwasher door was the culprit. I'm impressed with level of service Randy provided and will certainly call him the next time we need any appliance repairs.

After using Randy on two occasions, I'm convinced he can fix anything. I have a high-end KitchenAide refrigerator, and was previously given an estimate of over $450 to replace a broken ice maker. Randy came by and showed us the exact problem, and was able to remove the ice maker and replace only the broken part rather than the entire unit, saving us nearly $350. During a previous trip, he replaced a water pump in my washing machine, again saving us hundreds of dollars. He responds rapidly, shows up precisely on time, and is available during early evenings so you do not have to miss time from work. One note: Be sure to contact him by telephone, as he is on the road and may not respond to email as quickly.

I emailed Mr. Hunt from the site with details about my problem with my dryer. He called and gave me an appt. time, a cancellation that was perfect. He called me to advise he was picking up a part he thought he needed and was running late, he kept me informed. When he arrived, he quickly found the problem, gave me an accurate estimate, obtained my ok to repair and was done within a short time. I needed a new heating element, which he had brought with him. I am extremely satisfied and chose him from the previous reviews. I would recommend him to anyone!

We were impressed with Randy's honesty and trustworthiness. Definitely recommend him.

We had two other individuals out before who were sent by GE. Neither one fixed the problem and the second one even tried to tell us that there wasn't a leak (even though we could smell the gas!) We paid more money with the GE people to repair valves that were apparently not even faulty. Before calling Mr. Hunt, I actually contacted another company that had an "A" rating on Angie's List, who at least told me that they would not even attempt it since it was a Monogram and a GE technician had not been able to repair it. Anyway, Mr. Hunt was very knowledgable, very polite, and did an outstanding job. He showed me the leak once he found it, which I really appreciated, given all of the trouble we've had trying to get this fixed. He also make some other recommendations for us, which were not things that would bring him more business, but were just helpful for us to know. We are very happy we chose Mr. Hunt and would absolutely call him again if we have any issues with our appliances in the future!

I picked Randy based on the reports I read about him. Boy were they right. He arrived when he said he would and found the problem right away. I expected him to tell me my ancient washer was not worth fixing. Instead he said it was still in great shape, worth fixing and it only cost me $133.00 including the part. He then checked my other appliances while he was here. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. He is now programmed into my phone.

I called Randy around 3pm after I had tried to fuse the line together myself and wound up making a bit of a mess behind my refrigerator. He was in Frisco at the time but told me he could come around 8/8:30pm to take a look at it. He also quoted me a general service call price of approximately $45. He arrived around 7:30pm and quickly fixed my error (which in my defense, was due to a faulty piece). I also asked him to take a look at my front loading dryer lint tube as it was somewhat tangled (hence the $25 delta between what I paid and what I was initially quoted). He was able to untangle the tube which allowed me to push the dryer closer to the wall. Randy is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to any appliance. He told me quite a bit about my microwave, stove, oven, etc. I definitely recommend his services and will keep his business card in a convenient place!

Went well as primary issue was a dirty water filter and he easily repaired it... Further, he volunteered to check and see if my GE dishwasher was on a recall/repair list and then called me back later to confirm that it was not.... Excellent service....

Fixed a switch on the MW, did a follow-up to a KitchenAid "authorized" repairman's sloppy work replacing a fridge door seal, and diagnosed a flaky double oven for a very low price. Very reasonable and works late and on the weekends. Good guy. Will use for non-warrantied appliances and/or installations of appliances.

The washer intake water lines would not completely shut off. Called Mr. Hunt and he arrived the next day at the time he indicated he would and replaced valve assembly after verifying the problem. Mr. Hunt carefully explained the problem and offered suggestions for future modification to both the washer and dryer. We will certainly use Mr. Hunt again in the future for all of our appliance repair needs.

Randy is honest, and helpful. He could charge a lot more and still be worth every penny. He recently put in a new cook top in a rental instead of fixing the existing unit which would have made more profit for him. I depend on his advice and never hesitate to call on him. I know he will do the job right and for a fair price.

What we ended up doing was buying a used washer and dryer from him because after he looked at the set, he said they were too old to get parts for. We've been really happy with him. He is honest and trustworthy and we feel like we got a really good deal from him on the washer and dryer.

Randy Hunt was the most honest and helpful repairman I've ever met! He was extremely helpful in explaining why the seal molded (a defect in all front-loading washers), fixed it quickly and thoroughly, and even gave us a warranty period BEYOND what the part manufacturer has! We discussed some other issues with other appliances (dishwasher and refrigerator) and Randy took the time to listen and understand the problems. He gave us some great advice and followed up later in the week. I have not experienced such great service in a very long time and we will definitely be using Randy for any future appliance repairs!
