Description of Work: I purchased a $20 coupon for $100 worth of plumbing work. I had a leak under the kitchen sink that needed to be fixed and a toilet that needed to be tightened down. When the plumbers came out to my house, they told my wife the toilet was cracked and needed to be replaced. I am fine with that. The problem that I have with them was what they charged me for it. The guy told my wife he was going to get this "great" toilet but it was $400. So my wife looked up toilets on Lowes webpage. She asked him if the toilet he was talking about was the same one at Lowes listed for $220. He said it was a different one. When he came back with the toilet, it was the exact same toilet. My wife questioned him on it and he said, oh yea, it is. So he agreed to take $50 off the price of the toilet. Still costing me $125-$150 more than what I could have bought the toilet for myself. The leak under the kithcen sink apparently took him about 5 minutes to fix, my wife said, and he charged us about $150 for that fix. So once they finished all their work, the $20 coupon I bought ended up with a final bill of $850. They were very professional and nice, but I will never use them again because they basicallyl took advantage of us on price.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for $20 for $100 worth of any plumbing service. They were able to come out the day after I purchased the deal. I was not happy with them. When they came out, their estimates were so overpriced. They estimated about $250 to replace a ring on the toilet and another $250 to replace an outdoor faucet. To make a value for the $20 prepaid cost, they completed an inspection while there were there. I would defiantly not use them again.

Description of Work: Replace water heater and kitchen sink faucet. |Water heater: Lots of upselling. Plumber insisted we needed a new gas cutoff ($153.56 including flex line) in order to meet code compliance. City inspector told me this was not needed for code compliance. The pan installed under the heater is kind of a mess. They hacked at the threshold under the door to get the pan to fit. We bought a "Flood Stop" ($329.49) that has a water detector and is supposed to shut off the water supply if water is detected below the heater. After about two years it does not work. Admittedly, the Flood Stop is out of warranty. Plumber has no interest in looking at it without charging. This is below my expectation. The first inspection got a red tag because there was no slope in the TPR line. West came back and added slope to the TPR line. Reinspection passed. That meant two additional visits, consuming my time. | |Kitchen sink faucet: Plumber replaced kitchen faucet for $320.43. The material is part plastic, part metal, and is obviously imported. After less than a year the faucet started leaking. West did replace it. What I wanted them to do is let me purchase a quality faucet, and install the faucet as the warranty service, but that idea did not work for West. They just replaced like with like -- a lower quality metal/plastic import. | |So I feel like I overpaid, got marginal service, endured three visits that I should not have (fix TPR slope, reinspection of TPR line, and kitchen faucet warranty replacement) and was treated with indifference about the Flood Stop.

Description of Work: He came and snaked out our toilet. Made sure it drained cleanly. Worked for about 30 minutes. I felt this was a come on as I didn't understand from the certificate that I would have to pay more for the work done. The plumber was responsive and efficient but I felt deceived.

Description of Work: they were very prompt the tech was very knowledgeable in the services that were provided by Harvey west plumbing he advised us about some other services that we may think about in the future we had to call them back once and the service done was within our warranty period no problems have arisen since then very satisfied with their company

Description of Work: Changed some washers on the bathroom on the faucet. I think the price for what was done was too expensive. He literally was done within 20 minutes at the cost of $283.20.
