Great. Jeff and his crew were on time. They worked all day onday. They returned the following morning and adjusted sprinkler heads that had to be moved, and put down new sod. Except forthe new sod there is no evidence that they were here. Jeff works along with his crew.

Ted and his crew were wonderful to work with. There when they said they would be, cleaned up after each day of work. Have a beautiful patio, neighbors stopping by just to view craftsmanship.

The owner "Ted" was very good to work with in the design phase. We made several design changes prior to the start and he was always patient with us to ensure we had a great design for landscaping around our new backyard pool, Also both side yards and partially the front. He did what he said he would do and checked with us during the actual work. All was completed a bit ahead of schedule and we're now receiving lots of favorable comments for his work. Would definitely recommend you to include him in the quotation process.

Update for 3/22 Posting, but please read it for details. I've waited 2 weeks but still haven't heard back from Ted. Just to clarify on why I waited to have him come back was because of several reasons. I wanted to make sure that the 2 trees that went into shock and lost their leaves and the perennials that were planted in the front survived. I thought he would at least honor the warranty on those if they didn't, but I guess not. I've attached pictures and you can see a bare spot where one of them didn't live, but it still hasn't been replaced. One of the 6 plants that the rabbits ate that I had to pay to replace. The picture with the darker layered border is what I wanted and showed Ted in person. The lighter border with just one stone for the first half is what I got. I'm assuming it's faster and easier to not use mortar? I requested a full bed that would look really nice but the 3 reddish plants on the right is the only new ones and the perennials that die back in the winter....all the rest are existing. Not really what I call appealing. Also if there's any questions about my review process, please read another review I posted on 8/23/2015 for Cedar Creek Fences. Awesome work!

Ted provided excellent advice on a good approach to improve our backyard. His recommendation on what to do - and what not to do - were spot on. Ted is very responsive and his team did an excellent job for us.

Ted Nichols and his crew are absolutely amazing! My front yard looks SO much better and all the neighbors have given me compliments on it. Ted is just a pure joy to work with. From the first day when he came out to give me the bid for the job he was professional, warm, courteous, and explained everything while answering my many questions. The job was completed in a timely, professional manner, and Ted was there the whole way overseeing the work personally. After having front yard landscaped by them years ago, we brought them back to do the backyards. Both yards look great & we get comment from our friends about how great it looks.

I talked to three landscaping companies and decided on Focal Point Landscaping, Inc. I chose Ted's design over the others because he had some great ideas about how to meet my requirements that I had not thought of. He did not go too far where it would break the bank. His price was reasonable when compared with other quality landscaping companies. Once we finalized the design, Ted gave me a start date. Ted and his team showed up on the date promised and wasted no time getting to work. His crew actually finished one day early. Everything looked fabulous, and my wife even commented on how much she loved the final product. The final product met all my requirements, and it truly turned out better than I originally imagined. I even had a few extra ideas that Ted was able to come back and complete before I paid the final bill. The entire process was very professional from start to completion. Overall, I appreciated Ted's design and execution of that design. It is rare these days that I do not have something to complain about at the end of a home improvement job.

Ted scheduled evaluation and provided the quote in two days. The proposal was detailed and easy to compare with the other companies. The work was scheduled within 2 weeks and completed in a half day. Ted and his crew were hard working and professional. The proposed solution fixed the problem based on the recent fall rains.

I would rate this company as great, stopping short of excellent .... simply as the communication for the cost I paid was not what I expected. This is not a knock on the quality of the work, as it was exemplary. Perhaps I am just expecting more communication for the cost. The appearance of the yard is wonderful.

On time, cost was exactly what they estimated, even helped me figure out how to reset my controller when the sprinkler system didn't want to come back on to verify the moved heads.

Great! Ted and his team were on time, and very professional. Ted did what he said he would do, plus more. He was very patient with us, we kept changing our minds. He has great customer service. He and his team made sure everything was cleaned up, before they left. Ted also, made sure we were happy with the work before he left. We plan on using him again, when we redo our front yard. We got appraisals from other companies, but, Ted gave us the most for our money. We can't say enough good things about him and his team and the service we received. Thanks Ted!!!

I don't think I could have asked for a better experience. Ted was responsive to my calls and emails, listened to my needs, provided options based on his knowledge and experience, and then executed the work just as he said he would. The crew was efficient in their work and did an excellent job on cleanup. What seemed like a big project to me was handled so easily by Focal Point Landscaping that I knew I hired the right contractor. I will use them again.
