The whole process went great. Called the office number, set up an appointment for an estimate, estimator arrived on and gave us a great estimate. We went with Five Star, they had a crew out quickly - they arrived on time, worked diligently and professionally, did a great job. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends or to use them again for a bigger job.

The two painters did an excellent job on the painting, especially with multiple color changes. There was an issue with drop cloths in the bedroom and several splotches of red paint ended up on the off-white carpet. JP and others were responsive and efforted to remedy the situation. We plan to use their services again.

Extremely well! Reed and his painters not only met my expectations, they exceeded them. I showed Reed a picture of the colors I wanted and he nailed it! Very pleased and happy customer!

We recently had foundation work completed on our house, which left us with a large amount of cracks in our ceilings and walls. I thought the job would require a general contractor installing a new ceiling, but Five Star was confident they'd be able to make the repairs and do the work. They completed a transformation on our home, including drywall repair/installation, popcorn removal, beautifully textured ceilings and an incredible paint job. They even helped me pick out the new colors (because I'm horrible at that). They worked quickly and consistently until the job was done. We've received a lot of compliments on the new look of our home and I'm already thinking up new projects to have them complete. We couldn't be happier with the results. UPDATE: A year later and the work has held up incredibly. Our ceiling still looks as beautiful as it did the day they finished!

I was amazed!! I thought it would take a lot of time, but they were in and out in 2 DAYS!! Stacy came by and was wonderful helping me pick out colors. She was very confident in her knowledge of current painting trends and I am SO glad that I listened to her. The painters were very professional and worked from the time they arrived until the time they left. When they were done we could not wait to host a party to show off our house. I thought I loved my house before, but with new paint, this looks like a new house. Thank you Five Star Painting!! I wouldn't recommend or use ANYONE ELSE!!

I used Them last October. They were excellent. They were very efficient and prompt. They were also the cheapest ones we estimated. They were the only ones who had a professional estimation system.

Five Star Painting is a superior company, in my opinion. Phil, who was touted on AL in a previous review as a rude person, could not have been more nice and pleasant to work with through the estimate. He is passionate and was very understanding of the common "well, what would it cost if we did this, what about this, and this..." The painter and foreman showed up right on time and went over the details of the project. This step is important in my eyes and really is what separates a great company from a good one. the painter then got to work and took very few breaks. He was quiet and courteous and his work wass quite good. The foreman showed up once more to make sure things were going well, as I wasn't sure why they were only taking off 1 coat of wallpaper. After explaining to me how this happens and what they have to do to make it right, I felt much better. The worker was here pretty late to get most of it completed and then showed up the next day (after the foreman came by a 3rd time) to finish some details and clean up properly. All in all this company is top notch. I feel I got a fairly decent price and the room is now ready to paint to our liking. Thanks!

I was very pleased with the job five star provided for us. They were very careful with my furniture when they moved it. The job was done ahead of their estimation and then they inspected their work meticulously, fixing all imperfections. They even painted two chipped door frames at no extra charge. I was impressed with their knowledge of different types of paint and paint brands. They were happy to answer all my questions and before leaving, they made certain I was satisfied. It's hard to find companies with integrity now days; I'll stick with these guys for my future painting needs.

They run a clean job site and are very meticulous on how things are done. When I do walk through's with them I never notice any issues. They leave the job site cleaner than when they arrived. When I call them they answer all the time. They are also very quick with completing projects. They also have competitive pricing.

Phil Mancil responded to my urgent need to have this painting done. He knew were in a time crunch and the painting was requested and completed within three days from my first phone call to completion of the job. Phil, Josh Christensen, and Jose ( I regret not getting Jose's last name) were wonderful to work with--very professional, respectful of the situation, efficient, yet very personable. Jose did a beautiful job of the drywall and painting . And he did it all on his own in less than 7 hours. Jose was also working around another crew prepping the house for an estate sale. The rooms he painted look brand new. Josh came in and inspected the job before approving it. I am completely pleased with my experience with Five Star Painting. I would recommend them to everyone I know who wants the best at a fair price. They left part of a gallon of pain for future touch-ups if necessary. Very thoughtful.

I obtained 3 estimates for the work I wanted and 5-Star gave the best price by far. Stacy Ortiz came to my home and I explained everything I wanted done. She was very attentive to the details I gave her and even offered a few suggestions in areas I was unsure of. After agreeing to the estimate, we were scheduled to begin our project. The project manager and crew arrived on time on day one, and we reviewed everything that needed to be done. In the midst of our discussion, I made a change to a few things (like removing an existing column between the living area and hallway, rather than casing the column) and they were completely understanding and said they would take care of it. The crew started work right away. They were very professional and courteous and would seek my input when needed in certain situations. (I appreciated that, rather than they just moving forward and it being a problem later). They showed up on time at the beginning of each day and always cleaned up at the end of each day. They were able to match the new texture to the existing texture that is throughout my home, which I was concerned about in the beginning. You can't even tell the difference! The new wall that was installed to cover the brick accent wall and all of the wainscoting that was installed looks far better than I had imagined. I will definitely be using 5-Star again!

The salesperson arrived on time for our appointment and was very knowledgeable about the services and products available. He walked us through specific areas of need for our paint job to meet our desired outcome. In addition, he provided us options and pricing on wood replacement that was required and/or optional to protect our home and the integrity of the service. We received initial quotes for both a full service job (with Five Star Painting replacing damaged wood) and if we completed the wood replacement on our own. As we walked the exterior of the house with the sales person, he also noticed hail damage on our fence. Through his observation, we were able to include the cost of staining/painting the fence along with the rest of a hail damage claim for the property. After reviewing pricing quotes and meeting with sales representative from three other companies, we determined to select Five Star Painting for our project. The painters arrived on time and notified us when they were beginning and completing the job. A foreman for the project also met us before and after the project. A small area of the house was missed by the painters. The foreman recognized this and had the painters return complete that section as well as two other areas he was unhappy with to ensure that the project met our complete satisfaction and their standard. Five Star Painting showed a high level of integrity and professionalism on our job. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Owner was very responsive and eager to please. Told them upfront we were on a tight budget and owner was willing to work with us.Crew was respectful and worked very hard. We made a request/change order half way through exterior job and they accommodated without hesitation. Would use them again in the future.

Their bid was okay but I did not like the gentleman that came out to do the bid whatsoever. I though he was very arrogant and he made some comments that were completely unprofessional and were non of his business basically. When he was walking the house, he was making some comments about the house itself which was fine but then he made a comment about the smell of cigarette smoke in the house. I didn't say anything to him about it but just based on his arrogance and his comment, I'm not going to use them.

It was great service from start to finish.

I thought it was excellent. They are very professional. Everything was on time. They cleaned up after themselves each day and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend them. I can’t say enough nice things about this company. It was just awesome.

My experience with Five Star Painting went okay. They did what they said they were going to do and did a good job. They did a good job on the carpentry work, as well. The workers were all good.

Their customer service was very good. The owner was polite, and did nice scheduling changes and things like that.

My experience was great with Five Star from the beginning to the end. They were always on time. Even though the job inside was a mess they were able to keep it as clean as possible and left it clean every night when they left. Everyone was so happy with the entire experience and the end result of the job!

I requested a quote for paint at our home after having an upstairs water heater blow out while I was away. Multiple rooms were damaged and about half of them had to be stripped to the bare studs and rebuilt while the other rooms just had to do minor repairs. After my contractor stripped the bad rooms down to bare studs and began to reconstruct our home, I contacted Five Star to give us a quote for the paint. I had heard good things about this company and wanted to see how they conducted business but was skeptical due to my past experience with painters having personally worked in the painting industry years ago. I was pleasantly surprised when Mike Christensen showed up for the quote at the scheduled time. He was knowledgeable on different styles of paint finishing like faux finishes and others and was able to give me a quote that included several styles of finishes in the different rooms to be painted. The second surprise came when Mike handed me an itemized, professionally printed quote ON THE SPOT that included all the variation that I had discussed with him including faux finishes, standard wall painting and staining replaced doors and cabinets to match the existing ones that were not damaged. The quote was reasonable and we awarded the job to Five Star painting. The biggest surprise was that their office called and the job was scheduled within hours of the time we awarded them the contract. The second biggest surprise was that the painters were actually on time to start the job on the day it was scheduled to start. The job was finished the way we had discussed and within a half of a day of the estimated time that it would take. Even the entertainment center looked as if it had all been put in at the same time and the faux finishes in the master beedroom were excellent. I highly recommend them for any paint job and after seeing the professional way then handled the work in my house, I have decided to use them for my business office repaint that needs to be done.

We had a bunch of dry rot and paint peeling off the exteririor of our home and even had a hole in the wood in one spot. I also had a door hung that went from my kitchen to my back yard that had never been painted on the inside or outside. Five Star came out and gave us an estimate. Our house is 3550 Sq Ft and the price was about the same or a little less than we had paid for the same work done on our previous home that was only 1930 sq. ft. It was also performed in a more timely maner. They were able to start the job in the same week and it only took 2 days for them to complete. Our house looked brand new. They were very professional and when they left there was no sign that a paint crew had ever been at our home (other than the fact that the outside of our home looked beautiful). Everythign was left spotless.

My wife had been wanting to repaint the downstairs of our house but she couldn't settle on a color and whether we do it or hire. Then we heard about Five Star Painting through some friends and while over for dinner, saw the interior of their house and we were impressed with the work and price so we decided to go with them. The things that really stood out to me are: 1) Responsiveness of their project manager 2) Quickness of the job 3) The knowledge of their paint consultant As I mentioned my wife was unable to decide on a color so their painting consultant (that's what I call her :) sat down with my wife and asked her a myriad of questions to determine what my wife was trying to accomplish. My wife had a theme in her head and the paint consultant was able to flush that out and then made color suggestions and textures. She was even able to show my wife contrasting colors that would allow her to work with her beach theme and various decorations that were yet to be purchased. Then to top if off, the entire work was done in a day and a half--that included the worker putting all the blinds back up and the furniture back. Then after the job was complete, the PM did a walk-through with my wife to ensure total satisfaction. As opposed to my wife, I'm easy, but she signed off on a job well done after the walk-through. The PM also gave her some pointers of dos and don'ts prior to the paint curing--this was very new to me. I must admit, I thought I knew paint (I was a painter for 2 summers in college) but this service provided by Five Star Painting was the QA that I never did in college. I have to share an incident that occurred a day later, that to me, shows Five Star Painting's commitment: before the paint totally cured, my 9yr old used the rough end of a sponge and scrubbed a bunch of paint off in the kitchen wall. My wife called and the PM came right back to help even though it had nothing to do with them. Now that is service. I would totally recommend Five Star Painting to my family and friends. In fact, I already told a co-worker about them.

The consultant -Stacy came out to measure & give us an estimate & also to help me decide what colors to choose. I make it a practice to work only with people that are honest & have integrity. She represented the company with both. She was willing to take the time to help me deicide on colors & also worked on getting us the best deal we could get for our money. We saved a bit by adding a few doors & we are grateful for that. Our job was scheduled & JP came out with the painter & verified with me again what they would be painting. The painter was fast & efficient & I was very pleased. The painting was done as scheduled- communication was excellent! Now I am just waiting to save up the money for the next painting project to have Five Star Painting come back:)

I was so pleased with Five Star Painting! I heard about how great they were from a friend who used their services all the time. I was impressed with how quickly and professionally they did the job. They came back within a few days to do some touch ups that I noticed. They were so good about it. Everyone that I worked with was very nice and professional. I won't paint on my own again!! I will definitely use Five Star painting in the future. I have already planned out what I want to have done next!

Our wooden deck cover had hail damage and it had aged a bit. When the representative for the company first came to see me, she was thorough, knowledgable and courteous. She worked up an estimate and gave me all the paperwork I would need, handing it to me in a beautiful folder that included her card and other infomation about the company. I had planned to get other estimates, but after talking to her and looking at the information she gave me, I knew I wanted this company to do the job. I'm very glad I hired them. The results are magnificent. We plan to hire them again to stain and seal our fence. The Five-Star crew did a power-spray sanding technique one afternoon, then let it dry completely overnight. The next day they spent hours meticulously staining the wood by hand. I had chosen the stain color from Sherwin Williams Woodscapes color cards they brought with them. After the work was done, they gave us the remaining stain. This treatment will protect the wood for years longer than it would have lasted. Before starting the work, they covered the entire patio with drop coths. Later, when they cleaned up the work area, they replaced the furniture where it had been, but actually made it look cozier than the way I had arranged it. The crew and the job manager were highly skilled, and very courteous.
